Hello,
I am curious to know if anyone else has the issue with caller ID announcement.
when turned on, it reads our strange characters/symbols (seems like a part of the code or something).
It has been like this since day one I got the phone and I kept hoping with each update it'll get fixed. But after several updates still behaves the same way.
Anybody aware of this and whether there is a fix or an expected fix coming?
Thanks

Hi all,
I have a problem with my HTC TP2. All of a sudden, the microphone stopped working... There are a couple of strange things though!
- First of all, it came out of nothing. I didn't do anything special when the problem came...
- Headset works, so I first thought it was a hardware problem, but after some hardware resets, it started working again! Unfortunatly, it didn't last for long. 5 minutes later it was stuck again :s
So it is probably a SW bug...
- If I talk really loud, you can hear something, so probably the amp doesn't work correctly... But why does it work with the headset then...
I've seen others with the same problem, but haven't found a real solution, but to send it to HTC for repair... I would rather avoid this!!
Can anyone help me please?
I have the same problem. At first it started just happening every once and a while I would get or make a call and the person on the other end couldn't hear me, now it's probably 90% of the time they can't hear me. I've even tried booting into android and it still doesn't work which leads me to believe my issue is hardware unless someone else has a better idea
If it is not working properly after a hard reset without installing any applications, then it most likely hardware related. Send it in for repairs.
one of my touch pro 2s had this problem, i just took it sprint and they gave me another one.
I get get this message on the bottom of my screen sometimes. It has no rime or reason, just appears and goes away. Anyone else get this or know how to fix it? Thanks!!
Kyle
I am also having the same issue but haven't found anything online yet. It's been happening to me for a couple of weeks now and I can't think of any software that I installed around the time this started
Droid X
2.2.1
Fission_2.5.7_BE
Did anyone ever figure out what was causing this? I believe the exact message is "Your feed database doesn't go back that far. I'm sorry. "
This is seriously the only Google result for this issue, other than this, and I'm having the exact same issue...except on my Nexus One with CyanogenMod 7.2.0-RC1. No clue what's doing it. It happens every few hours, and is kind of irritating.
I'm having the same issue!
I'm having the same issue on my Samsung Galaxy Note2 on Verizon....I have no idea why it's doing it...but I'm determined to find out!
Hi Folks
Have a vanilla HOX and the touchscreen becomes unresponsive while the phone is charging. Have done some googlising on this and it seems it was an issue that was supposed to have been fixed by update. Yet my phone still does this.
I can only remember having one OS update since I got the phone, though it didn't change this issue. I have checked for more updates and apparently I'm up to date, version number looks right too (1.29)
Is this a known issue? If it is is there a fix? might it be fixed in the rumored 2.x update whenever it finally lands?
Many Thanks
Hey folks, just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this problem and if a fix has been found or if it's an HTC problem with the phone design. This is happening to me frequently and it doesn't matter which ROM I am running, it happens on all of them. Whenever I'm on a call, the person on the other line will complain they cannot hear me (I'll hear them just fine). This will last for anywhere from 2-3 seconds to 15-20 seconds and may happen several times on a call.
Is anyone else having this issue? I've checked the web and there seems to be several discussions and compalints on several HTC forums about this problem but no fix so far, I checked a few pages on this thread and didn't see anything mentioned here so I was wondering if anyone else is affected.
Like i said, I have tried 4-5 different ROMs to see if any gave different results but no luck. So I'm leaning towards it being a hardware or design issue. I really like this phone but if this can't be resolved I guess it's back to Sammy for an S5.
Any input would be great, thanks.
Holy crap is everyone here able to transmit clearly on every call???
