I'm on the January OTA update for my P6P and during a call with speaker on, the volume rocker doesn't affect the volume of the call even though I see the volume bar moving. Is there a fix for this? This has been an issue since November last year.
I checked. Works fine for me. I´m also on the January update.
Well I'm glad it works for you. I kind of figured this was a me problem. I need to know how to fix it though.

Can anyone give me any ideas on how to boost the call volume at all? I have the volume set to MAX but the sound is so quiet it's driving me nuts. It cant be me going deaf as I can still hear the wife
It used to be fine when I was on M2 of CM11 but needed to move to a newer version (now on nightly from March 14th) in order to fix a couple of other issues with GPS, camera and bluetooth.
Diddo
Glad I am not the only one noticing this .. man in call volume from handset is crazy low.

Check the themes and apps section, I remember seeing a fix for the volume in there somewhere.
Hey there,
I also have the same problem since using CM11. When using the Samsung Stock Rom, the volume was much louder.
So what app should I use?
Did you guys find a solution for this problem? I have it too...
I found a workaround. Once the call starts press volume down button and then volume up. It works great. The problem is that you have to do this each and every single time...
Has this been fixed in M11?
So whenever I mute my media volume and then go to watch a video, after the video is done my volume jumps up to 100%. This only happens when it is completely Muted. If the volume is set low then it doesn't happen. Currently on 8.0.0
Same Same Same. Been happening since 7.1.2 for me on both my original and my rma'd pixel. No idea why.

Any ideas for fixes?
Re-boot should fix the issue. I too have noticed this issue on calls
Does any else has an issue with the G7 where the volume is so low that you can hardly hear it even though it's on full volume. Videos YouTube etc. So you restart the phone and volume is then back to normal. ???? Not happening all the time but is definatly an issue.

Yes, I also had a similar issue with my new LG G7. The problem is the sound comes from earpiece instead of the speakers. Not sure why. A restart fixes the issue but it happens again.
Were you able to fix it or is it still happening ?
Same problem
If I use any pair of head sets I almost can't hear the volume I'm about to return yhis over priced phone. My lg g4 was better. I even tried a volume booster that works great on all my other phones but does nothing on this phone.

I had my Moto Z2 Force for a week now and the phone is on stock Sprint 8.0 with latest Sep security patch, no root. I found the phone randomly turns its speaker into a unbelievable low volume mode and everything(ring, alarm, media plays) can not be heard unless my ear is 2-3cm away from the earpiece.
I have no idea what caused this and it seems a restart will bring the speaker to normal so I guess this is not a hardware issue. I see there is a discussion similar to my issue back in Mar with AT&T firmware(https://forum.xda-developers.com/z2-force/help/low-speaker-volume-t3678707), it has been a long time since I am wondering if anyone found any solution to this yet(I missed the alarm this morning so I need to find a way to fix it)? Thanks

Thank you, it does bring the speaker back toggling the Bluetooth switch.
But the main problem is you never know when the speaker is down and you might miss some phone call/alarm...
Hi all,
I'm on the November update with the most recent kiri kernel. Since updating, when I'm connected to bluetooth, I have roughly 3 different volume levels - off, quiet (one click up from off), and full volume (two clicks up from off). Anything above the second click does nothing because the volume is already at max. It's like this on my jbl charge 3 BT speaker and my Airpods.
Welp, fixed it! This post: https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/71484847?hl=en
Says to disable Bluetooth A2DP hardware offload, which I did, it rebooted and the volume is normal! Hope this helps anyone else with the problem!
