General AUJ6 Update - Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3

I just got this for my VZW phone. Anyone else get it, and was there anything besides security updates?

I got auj7 the other day for my u1 phone, also on vzw. Looks like a minor update.

Lollipop Update

Okay this is kind of weird because I know T-Mobile has not rolled out the update. In fact I believe they are completely refusing to do it to force people to resort to upgrading phones. But I got this system update on my phone this morning and I am wondering if anybody has gotten it as well or has any explanation. I haven't downloaded it yet.
T-Mobile SGH-M919. Weird because it says the GPE
it has been said before if you would have searched, but it is a patch for the stagefright vulnerability and that is about it.

GPe? That's odd, unless you're running a custom ROM

Which rom where you using when you get this message?
GPE has already been updated to 5.1, so even if that is LP it's still older than current.
I have been calling TMOBILE (US) every week since May to find out where the LOLLIPOP UPGRADE is for my SGH-M919 ((Galaxy S4) and finally about 3 weeks ago I got them to confess that SAMSUNG HAD GIVEN THEM TO UPDATE FOR THIS PHONE - BUT, THEY WERE NOT GOING TO RELEASE IT.
When I asked why, I was given the B***S*** answer that there were known bugs and all other providers had problems with it - I said they were corrected in the 5.01, and 5.1 versions - he then basically (without saying it) stated they want people to buy newer devices.
I told him I OWN MY DEVICE, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT, and I WILL ROOT IT AND PUT A CUSTOM ROM ON IT.
I was told, you will void your warranty.....I rolled with laughter and said...it is over 2 years old - THERE IS NO F***ING WARRANTY anymore...and I hung up.

Yet another great example of why I jumped ship for Cricket. Tmo does all this uncarrier crap because they say they care about the consumer, but when it's all on the table they're just like Verizon or Sprint or AT&T. If you're on older hardware, then they don't care about you. You're a number that they added years ago, and all that matters are the numbers they'll add today and tomorrow.
I'm still rockin' my S4 after all this time. When I'm ready to upgrade, I'll be buying my phone unlocked and ready to go with Cricket. Now that the new Nexus devices are on their way, I'm just going to save up and splurge on the Nexus 6P and not have to worry about bull**** carriers screwing me on updates and security fixes.
I buy T-Mo phones because they traditionally have unlocked bootloaders, so I can flash whatever ROM I like. ATT, and I believe Cricket, tends to use phones where the bootloader is locked down tightly. I like the open Nexus platform and am also considering one in the future...

Any ideas what's in LMY48U for Verizon?

I'm currently on LMY48P but I use mine on Verizon. Any ideas why VZW SIMs get an extra update? I'm debating skipping it.

It's the October security update. Everything that's changed is here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/android-security-updates/_Rm-lKnS2M8. As for why, well, the best answer is "because Verizon." It's happening with the Nexus 6 too. Nexus 6s with Verizon SIMs are getting LMY48W instead of Marshmallow. Why? Google is basically pushing the October security update while we wait for the Verizon approval process to play out on the Marshmallow update.
Either way, as long as there's a Verizon SIM in your N7 LTE, you're not going to get the Marshmallow OTA until it's approved. So, there is a direct LMY48P -> MRA58K Marshmallow OTA that you can sideload manually if you need Marshmallow that badly, but otherwise just accept the LMY48U OTA when it comes and just settle in. Marshmallow isn't giving you much that Lollipop doesn't.

AT&T S9 G960U Not Recieving OTA Updates - AT&T Acknowledged Issue?

I've been browsing around on this forum for the better part of a month (along with a good amount of google searches) to figure out why my S9 hasn't received an OTA update since July 2018.
Background info just so I don't receive the same old "did ya check if there was a firmware update available??":
I am using an S9 SM-G960U
I have been on AT&T for about 8 years now, always receiving updates until now
I have checked a multitude of times for an update in the settings menu. I am in the US, and have good connection to AT&T towers and using an AT&T sim.
I have tried a factory reset, it didn't work
current version i'm on is G960USQU3ARG2, July 1, 2018 security version
Not interested in flashing with Odin yet until this gets figured out or I have no options left
tried updating though smartswitch (just for the sake of it, knew it wouldn't work anyway- AT&T doesn't provide updates through it)
even tried using a my roommate's active Verizon SIM card just in case - confirmed phone is locked to AT&T
I haven't come up with much, but have seen at least a few other people that have the same problem and decided to bite my tongue and call AT&T device support...results surprised me- The AT&T rep actually flat out told me "this is a known issue" with the S9 and Note 8, and that he'd escalate the issue and blah blah blah...seemed like good news for me until I decided to ask "is there a known fix?", which received a much less straight forward answer: something along the lines of "well we are working on it and you'll hear back in about 24 hrs. Fingers crossed.
I'll post an update when I hear back from AT&T, hopefully with something more than just "your issue has been escalated"....
Anyone else have this issue? Or have dealt with AT&T already regarding this?
I'm in the same boat, though a month behind with June being my latest update. I've done a factory reset and tried (several times) clearing the Google Services Framework data and cache, restarting the phone each time. I spent almost an hour on a call with AT&T...they acknowledged the problem and tried to force an update, then waffled and told me that the Pie update is rolling out slow and to be patient. Sammobile doesn't have the AT&T-specific firmware, otherwise I might be tempted to go that route.

at&t has always been kinda weird about its specific firmware vs the rest of the big players. You could flash any carriers firmware if youre not remiss in losing the at&t specific stuff. I find the vast majority of carrier firmware to be garbage personally, but it might be useful for some folks.

Thanks for confirming that, and I won't miss the AT&T bloatware one bit!

you bet man

just got 10 update OTA

my S9 is a Cricket model G960U and i flashed the U1 firmware on it in about, August-ish maybe? early August probably. Had a few updates since then and finally got 10 U2 on it today. I like it so far. Goodlock is broken in a few ways, but Sammy says theyre fixing it. So far, so good, but not much play time with it yet

General Another update

Just got another update (2nd in a week)....
appears to be a small incremental update. info page till points to previous update.
F926U1UES1AUI5
Unlocked on AT&T.
Looks like it is just the October security patch. I haven't received anything on my T-Mobile branded one.
Same here, not for T-Mobile yet.
just checked i have september version, this looks indeed like the oktober security patch.
have the 926B EUX version, think somewhere this week it will arrive
Yeah, Updates roll out on unlocked and it will normally take a few days before the carrier branded ones get the update. It all depends on how long the carriers hold it before releasing it out to the wild. I anticipate that the branded ones will go out either end of the week or early next week.
That is, if trends hold.
I got this update on VZW.
Unlocked on the t mobile
received it
unlocked - using UK SIM ATM but it's here
T-Mobile, no update yet.
