I have the dark theme turned on and today - out of the blue - weird bug.
This morning Google (search) app was dark (as expected).
Later during the day, started the Google app to search and it was turned into white (instead of dark).
Weird ... a reboot solved the issue.
That does sound strange.. I've never had that happened yet (using dark mode 100% of the time)
You probably have scheduled your dark mode (Settings -> Display -> Dark theme -> Schedule).
That way it turns on or off automatically, depending on sunset / sunrise.
No, my dark theme is "on" all the time ... weird ... probably a one-off glitch ... fixed after reboot ...

Hi all
I'm new around here so can't comment in the ongoing dev thread for the cuoco92 ROM.
After flashing this ROM, the notification led light became blue (not an issue) but more worryingly it is always on. It is continously on from the moment the phone is turned on till it is shut down.
Anyone have the same issue? Any solutions?
So I am still not sure why that happened but I found a quick solution:
1- Install this app: (Can't post URL) Light Manager - LED Settings from the Play Store
2- Choose some random settings in the app and apply them. At this point, the persistent blue led light turned off.
3- Uninstall the app.
*#*#76937#*#*
And turn off - "Sleep sign on".
My notification light is not working for notifications and sleep sign on is off... it only comes on when charging

Hello,
Starting a couple days ago my Fiance's s8+ began enabling the blue light filter at sundown, problem is that we have her blue light filter disabled. If we turn on the blue light filter, it will become a little stronger, but remains enabled when toggled off. I have attempted to set a schedule that runs it for a minute at like 0400, but the filter remains on. If we reboot the phone, the Tmobile boot screen is pure cool glorious white and remains that way until the login screen appears, then it slides into blue light filter
Phone: Galaxy s8+
Software: R16NW.G955USQU2CRB9
Symptoms
* Blue light filter is on, even after being disabled or tricked into shutting off
* Blue light filter is enabling at sundown and disabling at sunrise
Settings:
* Blue light filter is disabled from the settings menu
* Blue light filter is not on a schedule
Trouble shooting and info:
* Disabled all apps permission to draw over the screen
* Wiped Blue light filter system app storage
* Rebooted
* Searched for suspicious apps
* toggled location and rebooted
* Blue light filter remains enabled even when color settings are modified
* Blue light filter remains on even when accessibility color settings are modified.
* Blue light filter appears to disable when Negative colors is enabled.
* Blue light filter does not appear in screen shots
This is driving us bonkers and we would like to avoid factory resetting the phone, so any advise from experience is appreciated.
Yes, I searched the forum, but could not find what I needed.
**** Resolution ****
This is a result of having night light set to automatic in Google Play books. It seems to toggle the Android OS implementation of a similar feature.
Updated to 8.0.0, it was fine, some apps (like Waze) got forced close quite often so I did a cache clear (in Recovery Mode). Now the display color is totally washed out, especially starting from 50% brightness. Any idea the reason could be? THanks
Oh, and I notice that if I go to Display Setting - Screen Mode - Adaptive Display - Advance options, what ever I do with the 3 channels (Red, Green, Blue), the display color doesn't change a bit
On Nougat there is a Display setting called "Screen mode". Does it still exist on 8.0, and if so, maybe it has changed due to the cache clearing?
Edit: Did not read post properly, sorry. Although, have you tried to change between the different screen modes?
So i updated the software to it's latest version and now after reboot i get the screen yellow-ish as if blue light filter was on.
It's not. Don't tell me to turn it off please.
Anybody got a fix for this ?
this is not a hardware issue. I really hope it's not a planned obsolescence issue
Check that color lens or color adjustment isn't enabled. Accessability > Visual enhancements. Use Adaptive screen mode, and set wb to 50%/50% and RGB to 100%. These are the only options that control screen color. Have you given any third party app accessability permissions (installed services)?
If not then only thing it could be is a software glitch, probably due to corrupt files during update (that's why its always best to do clean flash). Boot to recovery and wipe dalvic/cache and cache, or factory reset if that doesn't work.
will try a reset since it's stock firmware and i dont have twrp to wipe caches like that
Hi Guys,
The home screen colour temperature on my Oppo Find X2 changes to yellow (warmer tone) automatically in the evening everyday. Both Nature tone display and eye comfort settings are switched off completely (no schedule has been set as well). The weird part is that the lockscreen's colour temperature is absolutely fine, its when I go to the homescreen I see this issue all through the night. It goes back to normal in the morning. I've tried factory resetting couple of times but it didn't work. My phone is on Coloros 7.1 with June security patch.
My phone screen color changes while using the chrome very ofen. And even while i am typing this in chrome.
And scrolling on oppo website also changes color from warm to cold.
Anyone has answers

You're joking right?
Blue light filter for night viewing.
Try looking under display settings.
For those who have problem with yellow screen in Chrome, try disabling #dynamic-color-gamut in Chrome... chrome://flags and search #dynamic-color-gamut
