I have noticed how the bluetooth sometimes turns on by itself.... does anyone have this issue ??
maybe an app turns it on for you
Probably as matze said, in case you can't find it, start the phone in safe mode. If it's a third party app, your problem should go away. If it persists in Safemode, it's probably a Googel Pixel firmware/software bug.

Hello,
The screen of my moto 360 goes randomly off and vibrates at that moment, just like when you dim the screen with your hand., but now I'm using it. It's very frustrating because I can't even open an app normally or the screen goed of and I need to start over again. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Having same issues with mine.
Really strange and really annoying. Its like when u cover it with palm. It vibrates and screen goes off but ur in the middle of trying to do something. Anyone else having this problem?
Glad I'm not the only one having this issue, just got my Moto 360 today. I'll be in the Settings or other parts of the watch and it will just randomly turn off. It is really frustrating to deal with.
I have the same issue. I have pretty hairy arms so I wonder if the hairs are somehow triggering the capacitive touch screen.
you guys try to do a reset on the watch yet?? not just a reboot..
Any updates on this? I'm having the same issue
Any updates? I have the same issue I think it happend after udate to 5.0.2 but I'm not sure.
I'm also having the same problem. I picked up a new Moto 360 during the BBY sale rush of the last couple of days. At first it was buggy but the screen seemed to stay on while working with it. Then it had a system update, and since then most bug issues (like the faces not updating with the companion app changes) went away, however from that point the screen constantly shuts off, usually with a little buzz, while I'm interacting with the watch.
For instance, regarding the sensor used to turn off the watch if you palm it. I thought maybe that was it, so I was looking for a way to turn that off. I went into settings, and spend about 10 times of the screen shutting off before I could get to "accessibility settings" just to see if that might be there.
This problem occurs whether I'm wearing the watch or not (trying to eliminate arm hair or similar), and has occurred after a factory reset and re-pair with my phone (Note 4). Ambient sensor settings don't help, because all that does is make the screen go dark instead of off, but it still reverts back to the clock no matter what I was doing.
Any ideas? Any way to turn off a sensor perhaps, maybe in a custom ROM? Since this seems to be associated with an update near as I can tell, I wonder if a fix is coming from Moto or if it's too rare of an issue to be on their radar.
As an update, I replaced the watch with a new one, and this new watch is perfect. It started on outdated software which I left on for a bit to make sure it didn't show the problem, then I updated. Still no issues. I think there is a chance the problem is software regardless, but either way it must be a small portion of watches and isn't necessarily tied to any particular outside software influence (phone model or android version, or installed apps as NONE of those things changed). My advice to people reading this thread is to exchange the watch or get an RMA if possible.
Same Issue
Hi All,
I have the same issue. Sent it back for repair so let's see...
Same issue here as well
My Bluetooth is turning on and when I turn it off.. It turns back on automatically?? Any suggestions?
Definitely not a widespread issue as this doesn't happen with my Pixel XL. I'd attempt simply just rebooting it first prior to doing anything else. If it persists, perhaps trying a factory reset or even flashing the latest system image from Google's website might resolve the issue.
If the issue still continues, I'd recommend contacting Google themselves. You can do it right in the settings now in the "Support" tab. There's a chat feature which allows you to get an instant response without having to call in - it's great.
I had a similar issue with my Droid Turbo 2 where it wouldn't turn on. A simple restart solved the issue for me there. Nothing like this on my Pixel yet, but I tend to leave Bluetooth on all the time.

Hey XDA Community,
my Nexus 7 has a very strange bug which exists now for about half a year:
once I turn the screen to landscape and I quit an app, the screen gets locked to landscape mode - no matter which rom or android version I'm using! When I clean install a rom it takes about 1-2 weeks until the bug appears. The only temporary fix for this is cleaning ART cache/cache in recovery. Using a manual screen rotation app helps, but isn't very comfortable... I don't believe it's a hardware issue, because the rotation works as soon as I clean the cache or install another rom as I already mentioned.
Any ideas for fixing this would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance! [emoji4]
Hello, actually the symptoms indicate a hardware issue. I posted earlier about it, please check it out.
I had a similar issue. A forced shutdown / reboot worked for me and fixed the issue.
When the tablet is on, press the power key until the tablet is powered off (forced poweroff), then turn it on again. Sensors should be back.

Well, correlation does not imply causation and here is IMHO a more likely explanation. While long-pressing it and waiting for forced shutdown you had also held and pressed down its back cover and, subsequently, the situated beneath sensor's connector. This is the fix as N7 motherboard gets touch, USB, accelerometer and compass data via the wide silver cable which often suffers from poor contact affecting all these functions and no abrupt power loss can bring them back.
With my device I tried shaking it and pressing in any way before forcing the shutdown. Thus for me I believe it was not an hardware issue but a low level software one.
Months are passed since that episode and the tablet had not the defect anymore.
Obviously what is good for my N72 may not be right for yours...
My Flo (completely stock) sometimes gets stuck in landscape. I can either reboot and fixes itself, or I have an app that will only open in portrait mode. Launching that always gets things to right again.
So I agree that it's not always a "hardware" issue.
I have found in most cases that it is the Google app causing it, if you clear the cache to it the screen will start rotating just fine right after it's cleared.

Hi everyone,
I have 2 Galaxy S8+ from Verizon and here are my issues:
Past issues:
One of them did not come with the Galaxy Apps store (Not the plays store), and that phone also experienced the DQA issue
Current issues:
If I turn on Fingerprint gestures, the fingerprint sensor will stop working, this was an issue I had from the day I got the phone and has continued even through the updates. Here's a thread I made about it a while ago : https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8+/help/fingerprint-sensor-t3595614
My internal speaker has detached, or at least I think that is the issue, as sometimes when I am in a phone call and shake the phone just a little bit, it will either start making a weird buzz sound or completely cut off the sound. Shaking it again will fix it, that's why I think it's a physical issue. I haven't dropped my phone and just in case I ever do, I have a case and a screen protector on it, and neither of them (phone, case, screen protector) have any damage marks on them.
The Biggest Issue: Currently this is the most annoying bug I am experiencing is that whenever I go to lock screen and security in the setting app, it crashes the settings app. I also can't use the search function in the settings app, as it crashes the app withing a few seconds. The lock screen and security is the only menu in which I experience this, I am 99% sure this is due to me turning on Secure startup. I had it turned on a few days after I got the phone and it worked great, I had to turn it off once, about a month ago in order to get a quicker boot. After that I was experiencing issues turning it back on (meaning I turned it on, rebooted the phone and it would not work) , after some persistence, I was able to get it to work and it has worked and still works.
One thing to mention is that I had done the most recent system update, I am not sure this issue was caused by at, since the inability so search in the setting menu has happened prior to the latest update.
I have tried everything other than a full factory reset (wiping all cache, wiping apps cache, reset setting, reset network settings), which I refuse to do, It is absolutely unacceptable for me to pay this much for this phone and have so many issues with it, I have factory resetted my phone (Samsung's recommendation) in order to fix the first issue listed above, multiple times and it did not work.
At this point I really don't know what to do, Samsung support has been useless in this, I don't wish to replace my phone right now as I need it to much to even give up for one day, If anyone has any advice/fix other than factory resetting, I'll happily try it.
Thank you,
GGgamer16
Sounds like a factory reset is needed. I just tried all you mentioned with zero problems on the newest update w/ navbar options and experienced none of that. Speaker problem is most likely hardware related.
Anyone had any luck getting rid of the wifi disconnect? The issue where wifi disconnects showing a ! next to the wifi symbol on the status bar?

You try changing your WiFi channel? Using 5ghz or 2.5ghz? I use Wifi 100% of the time I'm home and never have any issues with disconnects.

Yeah I have tried changing channels. It didn't matter. I'm on 2.4 GHz.
I found a possible fix from another forum. I changed my wifi encryption from wpa2 AES/tkip to wpa2 tkip only last night and was rock solid after that point. I didn't have any more wifi issues... Just wanted to mention this change for other people. I usually got 5+disconnects every night. I'm gonna try just the AES option tonight and see how it acts.
Hi everyone, I hope someone here can help me.
I'm experiencing a bug on my phone that's bothering in several situations.
Apps in landscape mode switch to portrait and come back to landscape (or not):

Voice notes in WhatsApp get interrupted:

(you'll see that the navigation bar briefly goes white)
I've factory-wiped my phone, gradually reinstalled the apps and double-checked that there are no weird or potentially dangerous apps.
The tricky part here is that I can't find a pattern, as it randomly happens (for instance, my keyboard went down when writing this actual post).
Has anyone else experienced this problem with their phone? Any idea on what I can do? It's really hurting my experience with Samsung.
Thanks!
You might try another Android version.
Clear system cache on the boot menu.
You can try a hard reboot as well.
Test the sensor(s) that controls that (it could be an intermittent failure, the worst kind to diagnose).
Does manually locking it to landscape mode stop it?
If it's a brand new phone, get it replaced as this is not a normally seen glitch.
Reloads generally don't cure settings or hardware issues and useless it's an old load or has a worm, trojan, etc are generally a waste of time.
As invariably the original issue just gets triggered again... eventually.
