Hi,
I have a little problem (but it's not just on Pixel 6 or 6 pro, it's on all stock Android device I think ..).
When I receive notifications on all my Samsung smartphones that I have had and their One UI override, they are displayed in the status bar, at the top left with a small black and white logo representing the icon of the l 'application.

}
But on my Pixel 6 pro and other stock Android device, some applications show me a white or black circle or a square…. Whatsapp icon here is perfect, but for example, the Xiaomi Mi Home app (but not only this app) on all my samsung device displays a nice icon in the status bar but on Pixel it shows me a white square.
Are there any icons packs? Is there a solution?
thank you
Not sure if it's that but when I was involved in Android development a while ago, we had to update the status bar icons to make them look right on newer Android versions. Before we did, it looked like in your screenshot (blank square).
So I don't think you can do a lot, the developer needs to update the app for newer Android versions.
Yes absolutely, i know that, but the problem is that it displays perfectly well on Samsung! and for years ...

So back in October of 2010, some guy named Irkan made the version for a black notification bar and I made the version for the white notification bar. Here they are, they work great in ICS. Just download and install like a normal apk.

Can you make 1 with stock battery icons for Android Revolution 2.1.2? LTE version?
no only because i don't have time. feel free to break into the apk and replace the icons though.
if you search for my posts on androidforums.com you'll find some links to big battery icons that are ICS type but probably lower resolution. might work.
Is this for the notification bar?
If so, does it replace the stock battery icon, or add an additional one?
Wow nice!!! But would you please explain what's the difference between two files? I'm running everything stock (locked bootloader), which one should I use?
If later one we decided to go back to the original, will simply uninstall this app work?
It adds an additional one. Just tried it. Would be nice if it was a replacement, which I guess would require root at the very least.
Okay so after using a few different roms for a while, I found that now (despite formatting and going back to stock) that I still have a battery bar line that is a transparent dark purple that changes colours depending on the background.
Any suggestions? Aside from maybe exchanging it. I know my description is pretty vague but there really isnt much too it because it wont go away regardless of rom

Hey, i dont mean to bump this but I see NO ONE else having this problem and the fact of the matter is the battery bar clearly did this to my device now.
I am going to return my device because of this but Im looking for some incite whether a fix or just a reason this may have happened as I actually love the battery bar.
normal burn-in :-/. mine is starting to get one to (when browsing in fullscreen with white background the part where the status bar was supposed to be is a little bit of blueish). i'm sure they will exchange your screen/phone
Yeah I see this, but use full screen to use those pixels more. And use status bar tweaks to change battery to green text so the burn in stops etc.
Hi guys,
I am looking for a way to mod my i9100 S2, running on cm10.1, by making the notification bar transparent (I have seen methods of this) BUT also overlaying the applications, such that the applications run like they're on full screen mode but the notification icons (no black bar) are overlaying apps. Currently, I am using THIS guide to hide the bar altogether so that I can have a full screen experience with a functioning notification/quick settings but I would rather if I can see the icons etc without the black bar and loss of screen available to apps.
A rough idea of what I want, I can use Photoshop to create a better example if needed:
What stock is like:

What I am trying to get:
(The yellow/orange is the space taken by an application)
Hope you liked my art and, probably more importantly, understand what I am after.
All help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Andriod market
Hi,
We are a Web Hosting company in Iran and we want to run an "Android APP Store".
Do you (does anybody know) know good open source software so we can customize it for our local market?
Or do you know a company that sells these services (or software)?
Unrelated comment is unrelated. Seems like my request is nothing short of new, but can someone give me a hand?
After updating to Android 7.0 Nougat on my G5 (LG LS992) all my app icons changed. See attached picture for examples. The LG apps that come installed by default got simple, unique, all white backgrounds(the phone, contacts, and messenger icons at the bottom). User installed apps get one of seven new, all white backgrounds. I place one of each background type on example picture. Some of the backgrounds seem to be in the shape of a letter. There is no discernable pattern to what apps get what backgrounds and I can't find any information about these changes anywhere, no one else seems to be talking about it. Is anyone else seeing this?

I had that same problem and it was driving me nuts because it actually showed those icon labels behind the custom icon pack I was using. I was able to change it by changing the group of icons I wanted to use. I think I did it in Nova Launcher's settings. So if you're using a 3rd party home screen, check to see if you can change it there to Marshmallow's icons, or the system default or something.
Hello, i change my 6T to a 9 pro and i start to configure them. I have a litle question, in my 6T the icon of my apps are colored when i receive a notification (like the attached picture, blue for twitter, red for a photo snapchat, purple for Twitch, ...) and in my 9 pro all the logo are white Its possible with and app or maybe a setting to change that and to color my logo icon.

thanks you all ! For tou Help
You want your cake and eat it too....all iterations of firmware have their own uniqueness....life nor android (OxygenOS) is perfect.....learn to deal with what you have. It is far better than having nothing.
I understand your point of view but if its possible why i can't use it ? ^^
You might find a Launcher that does what you want to do. Nova does some notification themes and styles but I don't see the option to force the monochrome/white icons

Hello ! Yes I have already switched to nova launcher to be more free in the choice of settings. However, I couldn't find an option that could control the color of notifications. I put an icon pack that changes the appearance of the icons on the home screen.
