Is it possible to Force Image Stabilization in 4k video Galaxy Note 4 stock camera app?
I know when you select 4k, your image stabilization isn't on, is there a way to force it to stay on?
I would really like Image Stabilization while recording in 4k
Also, usingOpen Camera.apk is 1080p gives you better video bit rate , roughly around 50mb/s vs lower numbers with the stock app.
Hey visit this thread and ask your question there. It's a thread dedicated to modding the factory camera app and kevin can probably answer your questions.

I don't want my videos to look like michael j. fox was recording videos. I don't really have shaky hands unless i'm focusing or taking photos and I don't always have a tripod at my convenience. Is there an android app or anything you guys could refer me to for less shaky video capturing i'd be greatful thanks!
We know EIS crops the video frame to provide a stabilised video, but is there a way to record the full frame video (without the eis)?
Sorry if it is a silly question, or already been asked before.
Thanks in Advance.
I was wondering that if this phone records at 4K, it should be able to record at 1080p 60fps too. Is it possible, and does anyone know of a way to do it?
Edit: Alright, never mind guys. I found it in Google Camera.
Could you please upload an 1080p 60fps video sample through gg cam?
I feel like there's sonething I'm missing here, no matter which gcam build I try, if I go to video or I manage to get to video then turn 4K on, it just crashes immediately.
How do you record video in gcam?
On OP9 PRO, 4K works only with 30fps on the MAIN Lens, 60fps will work on the ULTRA Wide lens. 8K Recording works on both those lenses but of course 30fps only (doesn't support more).
There is no workaround, and I'm not really sure what exactly is the issue with 60Fps on the main lens. No matter which ROM you use, it's not gonna work, same goes for various GCAM Mods, always ends up crashing with 60fps at 4K on the Main Lens.
On the Regular OP9 though, 60fps works at 4K on both lenses. Weird. lol

Damn, just when I was about to convince myself that I would be fine without OOS Cam, turns out not even 4K60 recording works with gcam.
So unfortunate. Guess I'll keep waiting and running OOS12. I appreciate the detailed answer.

Well, 60fps will work only on Ultra Wide cam if you can live with that.
