Hello, recently I've been having an issue with the classic control center in my Mi 10T Pro (the one with the quick switches above and notifications below). When I open the notifications panel, the notifications fade in but with a blank space where the quick switches should be. Then the quick switches panel fades in with the same animation as the notifications but at a later time. The problem is that, when I close the notifications panel, the animation plays in reverse, so first the notifications disappear but the quick switches panel stays above the applications and it plays a fade out animation which is annoying since this whole animation is double the time than it used to be. I don't remember it being that way until maybe a couple of days ago. Before the notifications and quick switches appeared at the same time. Has anyone else observed this behaviour?

In the Settings -> Display -> Notification panel screen, I'm having trouble getting the 'Brightness adjustment' to stick.
If I turn it off (uncheck), and immediately check the Notification panel, the brightness adjustment slider is gone, great!
However after some time (sometimes 30 seconds, up to a few minutes) the brightness adjustment slider comes back from the Notification panel... and checking in the Settings screen, it still shows unchecked. Checking and re-unchecking makes it go away again, but only to come back on it's own.
Anyone else experiencing this? Possibly there is another setting which has it coming back?
Thanks!
When I get a calendar notification my screen turns on and when its in my pocket it stays on. How do I stop this? A notification sound only would be fine.
i'm assuming you're on stock and using the stock calendar. unfortunately the only way to turn that off is by ticking notifications off in the notification settings. by doing this it turns off ALL (ringtone, vibrate, icon in status bar) of your notifications.
you could look into a 3rd party calendar app and see if this is an issue.
Simply lower your screen timeout time.
Anyone know how to enable notification rings? I saw it on the ad for the quick circle case. A notification comes through and the screen illuminates the ring in the case. Sounds like a battery hog but now im curious.
Install the NO LED app from market (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.led.notify) and run it ... So whenever the notification arrives, no LED will start blinking /waking up the screen on periodic intervals and your quick case ring starts glowing
So I've got a problem.
If I diasable Moto Infos for using the regular lockscreen the display doesn't flick on to show the notification.
You hear the sound that a notification arrived but the screen stays off.
If you activate the screen manually you can read the notification as normal.
I'd grateful if someone could explain the Edge Lighting and why it doesn't work on One UI 3.0/3.1. I always thought Edge Lighting is a light indicator left on WHEN YOUR SCREEN IS OFF (like an LED notification) indicating you already received a Call/Text/Etc since you last touched your phone. I don't know why the Edge Lighting settings are located inside the Brief Popup Notifications settings because Brief/Detailed popup settings are not specific to Edge Lighting or the AOD blackscreen. Doesn't make sense.
This is what I have:
-Brief Popup Notifications - ENABLED (all apps selected),
-Edge Lighting - BASIC DESIGN
-Show even while screen is off - ENABLED
-AOD - SHOW ALWAYS
And when I get a missed phone call/text while the screen is off, the lock screen displays the notification panel there for a few secs and then goes off again. NOTHING on the AOD/black screen during or after the call. I get a tiny blue handset icon below the clock on AOD indicating missed call. Even if the phone is turned over... NOTHING. Does NOT make a difference if Detailed Popup Notifications enabled (Edge Lighting OFF).
Since this is no longer working or the way I expect, how do you tell if you received a call/text/etc if you were away from their phone by glancing at it? Is AODNotify or similar 3rd party app the only alternative? Thanks.
Moved from a Xioami to a Fold3 and I'm wondering the same. Is it so difficult?
But... let's say I could live with brief pop up the way it's implemented, my question is: why brief popup works with some apps (Whatsapp, messages, LinkedIn) and doesn't with others (Gmail, outlook)?
