Am I the only one that would like to see the date of the original posts of each thread, as we sift through hundreds of threads? The latest post date is shown, why not the original? I really don't care if someone posted something today to a thread that was started a year ago!
Being able to see the date a thread was started would give us an immediate idea of the relevance of a thread. I frequent the Hermes forum, for example. The ROM cookers often title their thread: "NEW" WM6 ROM xxx.xx.xx." Six months later because some newb has just joined the forum and posted the1035th reply, the thread pops up to first place in the listings, when it is really old news.
Am I missing something, or would this be good information to have available?
Ben

In an effort to keep the ViperX Thread clean, I made this thread for any general discussion related to the latest and EPIC ROM!
Did you know it got 700 downloads in the first 30 minutes? Anyways, post anything related to the ROM, but do NOT Flame, spam, or troll, as action will be taken by the MODS.
Here is the original ROM thread by j4n87:

Hey Guys,
I recently launched my first android app "assignit". Also, this is my first post here even though I frequent the forum. I would really appreciate if you can download the app, try and give your comments. If the comments are harsh or regarding improvements feel free to leave your comments on the link given below. Every comment matters and every suggestion is valuable. Please do help me make a better product.
This is version one and it definitely has some limitations.
If you like the app, please rate it. Also, since this is my first post, am not allowed to share outside link. So just add "https://" before the links mentioned below

Hey guys!
I'm working on a Battery help thread for the M8. Similar to this one in the N5 section.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785128
I know we have a battery thread... But this would be for Troubleshooting only, unlike the existing thread. Especially useful for newer, more inexperienced members.
Trouble is, I have little experience with app ops and don't know if it's even available for Stock Sense or Sense roms.
See post 3 in the thread I linked.
Looking for a post like that one, but specific to the M8.
Any help would be appreciated. Preferably a post of your own to go in the thread in post 3 again, and preferably from someone who will frequent the thread to assist people, especially with Post 3 related help.
I don't have the time to learn all that, as I have enough going on with the site and real life.
Worst case, I will just not include app ops on the thread. Though it would be nice to include it. ?
Thanks guys!
