Hello everyone. Few days before my phone xperia xa1(dual) rebooted automatically. After the reboot the phone was completely stuck at SONY logo and nothing happens. Then after i tried to flash firmware using sony flashtool. But flashing stops after a few steps when phone is connected in flashmode. I was using a latest version of flashtool also tried old versions of flashtools. I have also tried old version firmware and customized version of another region but nothing helps. I have unlocked bootloader but usb debugging is off. The code that flashtool gives is:

More info: It won't reach the bootanimation, It's stuck at the SONY logo only.
Device can no longer do offline charging. When doing so, a green and then red flash of LED light comes on. What's happening?! D:
Flashmode is working with the LED turning on expectedly
I really hope this doesn't mean a bricked phone...
EDIT: Okay I found out the problem, I was using Flashtool that was not compatible with the Xperia M... Problem solved.

Hi,
I was trying to install CM13 and GApps on my Xperia M when things started to go wrong. Finally I ended up trying to get TWRP running. Unfortunately I flashed the TWRP.img not only in my recovery, but also on my boot partition (or how do you call that).
The result is that my device won't start up any more: when pushing the power button I only get one buzz and then nothing. I can push the power button a few seconds later again, with the same result. When I attach my device with a USB cable to my pc I get one red light flash, but I cannot put the phone in fastboot or flash mode (no green or blue led light). However, when the phone is attached, the flashtool indicates that the device is connected in flashmode. Unfortunately I can't use flashtool to get anything installed (see log below). I should also add that the power up button doesn't work anymore since long (so no way to get into fastboot anyhow) and that when charging the phone with a wall socket charger, I get a red flashing light (no constant red light).
I already tried everything I could find on this forum - especially the content of "[GUIDE] Recover 2012 and newer XPERIAs from SOFT-brick" was very interesting.
I mostly want to hear from you whether I can continue trying, or whether my phone is officially bricked!...

It also happened to me.
Re- install fastboot.
re-connect your mobile.
if same problem occurs, then change the USB cable. You can also reinstall the FASTBOOT AND ADB drivers.
or use another PC.

Try to disable set maxsize for buffer and packet size, then try to reflash again. Sometimes that make error when flashing, and this only happen if you're using the latest from flashtool version
I have an Xperia M C1905 and it is unusable due to endless popups. Due to these popups I cannot even perform a factory reset in the settings menu, the phone will eventually hang. Same thing if I try to boot into safe mode by pressing the power and volume down button simultaneously until the boot process is complete. Due to endless popups it is impossible to get anywhere and e.g. uninstall apps that might be part of the problem. I know that I would need 15.4.A.1.9-R6C / CDA 1274-8220 / Vodafone ES (Spain). I am unable to find that specific .ftf, all I have found here is a customised UK-Version and a so called CE-Version here. Anyway, I thought I might give those FTF's a try with flashtool (Under Linux Fedora 25), but that does not work. Here is the output from the UK-Version (CE was practically the same):

Is this error due to the FTF not being the exact one actually needed (Vodafone ES)? I do have USB debugging turned on in my settings. I also tried flashing again excluding "cache.sin" in the flashtool options, but then next time the error would be given with "kernel.sin".

I have an Xperia M C1905 and it is unusable due to endless popups. Due to these popups I cannot even perform a factory reset in the settings menu, the phone will eventually hang. Same thing if I try to boot into safe mode by pressing the power and volume down button simultaneously until the boot process is complete. Due to endless popups it is impossible to get anywhere and e.g. uninstall apps that might be part of the problem. I know that I would need 15.4.A.1.9-R6C / CDA 1274-8220 / Vodafone ES (Spain). I am unable to find that specific .ftf, all I have found here is a customised UK-Version and a so called CE-Version here. Anyway, I thought I might give those FTF's a try with flashtool (Under Linux Fedora 25), but that does not work. Here is the output from the UK-Version (CE was practically the same):

Is this error due to the FTF not being the exact one actually needed (Vodafone ES)? I do have USB debugging turned on in my settings. I also tried flashing again excluding "cache.sin" in the flashtool options, but then next time the error would be given with "kernel.sin".

when it showed type password to decrypt storage, i tried to flash.
i am not an expert in these things. somehow this happened.

It's called ebola. You can't solve this problem by any means. Only way is change motherboard. So I guess, it's the end for your Xperia M journey.
