$20 Dollar ArmadilloTek Case saved a $1,000 Dollar Galaxy S10 Plus !! - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Accessories

I'm reviewing this case almost 2 years after my purchase. While the kickstand may have quite working correctly a few months (They sent me a replacement tho, what is important is the protection this case gives. My cell phone flew off my Motorcycle on a Dubai Highway, I watched it tumble and bounce down the highway as I could safely stop to retrieve what I expected to be a shattered phone.

After stopped and running back to my phone, waving my arms like a mad mad to prevent cars from running over the phone I was unable to stop at least 2 cars from running right over it. With a heavy heart, I dodged the remaining cars to retrieve my obviously shattered, crushed, and useless cell phone!!
What!! Upon retrieval (after exiting oncoming traffic), What did I see?!? My cell phone screen was unbroken and the phone was working, still, on the Google Maps screen, it was on as it flew from my bike!! Upon further examination later in the day, there was not a scratch on my phone, the case has a couple of gouges but barely noticeable.
Conclusion: Best $20 bucks I have spent!

A Case To Keep Your Phone Cool...

Since the dawn of the smart phone, these little power houses are crammed with more processor speeds and memory than a desktop computer.
All the while, these little hot suckers are totally dependent on 'PASSIVE' cooling.
Right now, i'm sporting a very stylish T-Mobile G2 from HTC. I use my phone for everything under the sun. I'm thinking about using it for frying my eggs for a meal, because sometimes, my little phone get so HOT while using it for navigation, and various other tasks that tax the battery and GPS, it's almost unbearable to touch.

I purchased a mobile phone holder for my bike (ON AMAZON HERE) which works EXCELLENT! Except, its not allowing my phone to breath. I like the fact it's weather proof, but at a price of a over-heated device.
I'm thinking about hacking this case, and installing a small CPU fan attached to a solar panel for power. Which I would have to drill holes in the front somewhere to allow the air to flow over my phone.
I wish someone can make a case out of heat dispersion technology found with something like what they sell here. http://thermapak.com/

[Q] Suggestions for a SGS2 "Wallet"?

While browsing through some korean video that lead me to their site , I saw the following cases:

Having a Nilkin barely there case already, I quite like the idea and would like to find a "wallet" that can hold my phone with the case on, and some credit cards.
The idea is to avoid going to business meetings holding a phone, a wallet, a laptop, a namecard holder. I also think it's pretty cool to show off that a phone can fit into such a wallet.
I tried the original samsung leather pouch, but it's such a tight fit for the phone with a case on, that it's impossible to use any other of its pockets.
However, I've no idea how I can order or buy from the above site, so would like to pool everyone here for suggestions on alternatives.
Any suggestions on pouches/wallets or manufacturers that I may look at?
Currently thinking of even looking at Prada's lady long wallets (that looks more masculine)..
I've always kind of been intrigued by the idea of a phone wallet too, but they always end up looking a lot like a clutch purse, like here, or put the card holders in the back, which blocks the camera.
it looks nice but i will probably drop the phone while getting out the cash.
Nice if you're a lady.

[Q] Dust Accumulating Under Screen

The other month the metal frame round my Desire came loose to the point that it protruded quite uncomfortably in the hand. I bought and fitted a whole new case which was no problem, however now it lets in a lot of dust, mostly through the middle left of the screen, and I'm not talking about a little bit of dust, it lets in crazy amounts that after 2 weeks ends up obscuring the screen completely and I have to take it apart and clean it. I've added a couple of photos to show what I mean:

I think it's to do with the seal but I'm not sure exactly. Anyone else had this issue, or could help? Thanks.
There is a bit of a seal between the glass and the metal in the desire which you might need to replace one way or another. I also think the glass is put on during manufacture in vacuum conditions.
People who repair watches or replace batteries on watches that require to go x number of meters under water have to go through a similar process. Might be worth seeing what they can do.
it's quite unfortunate. Good luck with sorting out the issue.
I have the same problem. I once dismantaled the entire thing, cleaned out the dust and put it back together. It mostly got cleared for a while but then came back.
I've gotten used to it now...

This seems like a pair of nice cases for the money spent. Which wasn't a lot I don't think that there everyday cases maybe a little formal or in a office casual setting. Good materials carbon fiber and real leather. Listen I'm a real cheap ass that likes nice things I hate spending 1,2, or 3 dollars on a case and turning out to be a rip off. Man that just stings but this here has quality materials that could potentially be surrounding your device just think about it. Don't say it " well if that's all your gonna spend then you won't get you very far" well I say hey same on you my friend same on you. I just spent 2 dollars and got real leather case for my phone which actually acts as a wallet too. Oh yeah I looking fresh walking down the street feeling real nice and fly. Why because I spent 2 dollars wisely of my hard earn money !!! Huh holla at yah boi next time you eating a medium order of fries and you chowing down. Think about it ? Was it really worth it now lick your salty from off of your fingers and do something meaningful with them......

Cheap Leather Cases How-to

I like to carry my cell phone on my belt for easy access and that was easy with my old phones using something I picked up at Home Depot. Now I have an HTC Sensation 4G and it was WAY too big for my old case so I went shopping on ebay.
Since the phone is long I wanted to switch to a horizontal case because the vertical one I had sometimes got in the way when I sat down.
I found this case and it looked perfect:

It even said my phone would fit! Two weeks later I get the case and it's WAY too small, especially when I put the phone in it's Otterbox case.
If you find yourself in a similar bind the solution is easy ... stretch the leather! You can do it with water but I prefer alcohol since it dries fast and you can repeat the stretching steps quickly.
1) find something that fits in the case.
2) wet the case with alcohol, insert the thing that fits and jam in something next to it, Start small and work your way up.
3) Repeat until your phone fits.
It took me 1/2 hour or so but now my phone slides in easily. I had to stretch the case about 1/2" (13mm).
I may have to repeat this when my new quad core phone comes since it's even bigger.
