How much is the max size for micro sd cards on the galaxy s9?
I know it says 400gb but I've read that ppl got bigger sd cards working, so I'm just wondering if anyone knows how high i can go.
Has anyone tried 1tb cards?

I am looking for a 4GB SD card for my Qtek S200.
A-DATA "150x" is cheaper than Pretec 133x.
I know, I will not realize the speed difference in XDA.
Could you tell me your speed experiences with these cards in PC card readers?
THANX
i had a pretec and it didn't work so well. the card would corrupt all the time. i have had a-data with no problems but i may have had an odd experience
DO NOT GET ANY CARD THAT IS MORE THAN 2GIGS THAT IS NOT SDHC. Wether it is SD or minisd or microsd if you get a 4GB or higher card make sure it is SDHC or you are asking for trouble as most if not all regular sd cards corrupt data sooner or later if they are not HC.
4GB works on non-SDHC
I use a non-SDHC card in my phone and not had corruption problems with it. Main advantage is it works with all card readers whereas SDHC only work with some card readers.

Which card?
Hi all. I'm new on this forum and have recently had my new phone stolen from me. I decided to blow the dust off the XDA IIS and have spent the last few days on here fiddling with it.
I ordered a new 4gb memory card. It is 4GB Micro SD inside a SD adapter. and works perfectly in the PC. I also have an old mi nin SD 512 inside an SD adapter and this works. I 've spent hours reading the forum and can't find a solution. I apologise if this has allready been asked but does anyone have any suggestions?
Its an XDA IIS and I have tried numerous windows installations on the phone with the same result. It is now running WM 6.5.3
Thankyou in avdance...
as a matter of facts, it has been asked dozens of times already. but still:
4gb is the boarderline size for sd cards (sd, mini-sd, micro-sd doesn't matter).
4gb is available as an sd1.0 card (standard sd), and also as sd2.0 card (sdhc). the sdhc standard is not compatible with the blueangel.
or, in layman's terms:
every sd card of 2gb or less capacity works
every sd card of 8gb or more capacity doesn't work
for 4gb cards you have to look out, so you don't accidently buy an sdhc card, kingston and transcend have good standard 4gb cards.
Thanks for your reply. So basically it should work? I tried to make sure I didnt buy SDHC and it doesn't say it on the card. Would you say that the card more than likeley is SDHC?
what brand and model is it?
but afaik all micro sd cards of 4gb are sdhc, there are very few normal size 4 gb sd cards, namely kingston and transcend, but the majority of 4gb cards is sdhc and therefor incompatible.
Does anyone know if there is a speed limit when it comes to the SD cards for the EVO? I noticed that the 16GB cards that are marketed as EVO are all class 2. Is this what I need to stick with? Or can I pick any 16GB micro card?

You should be able to get anything. Worst case, the card will be too fast for your phone to use at full speed, but it will still work.
Hello, So I just got the LG E370, and was wondering about the memory card limit. Now I read it states that the biggest card it accepts is a 64gb card, but then that ventures into the realm of SDXC. And SDXC has a limit of 2TB, So would I not be able to install a 2TB microsd card (assuming one was able to obtain such a card)?Would it be a software limitation or am I misunderstanding the size limitations of cards. I know SD is up to 2GB, SDHC is 4GB to 32GB, and from what i've ever dealt with, anything that can accept a 4gb can acccept both a 2gb, and a 32gb card. So why would the phone not be able to accept beyond the 64gb while it's still in same format?.
Thanks in advance.
Anyone have any luck putting an sd card larger than the officially supported 512gb? I've had luck on a bunch of other phone putting bigger cards than supposedly allowed. Just bought the a70 and wondering if I can put a 2tb card in!
