Ok guys, the installation went really well, no issues, installed it using TWRP, it does not take you to set it up, it just goes straight to start screen, at the beginning it couldn't update Google apps but finally after I cleared cache, storage and restarted the phone it was able to update everything, overall it feels solid, no lagging and I'm using 2 sims (TMO AND ATT), Everything is running nice and smooth. Thanks Dev and Team for developing CORVUS OS. I'm liking it.

Yeah, that's why I said to follow the LineageOS installation guide. I didn't try it with TWRP and I'm glad you did as it tells people if it works correctly from TWRP or not. Also, thank you! It took a lot to get it to work. It took like a week to get it to work. Why? I had no idea what I was doing. LOL! I needed a lot of help to get it to work. I want to give a huge thank you to ggpew2 for helping me out the most. They told me how to do pretty much everything. So I would love if you checked out StatiXOS as well!

Just one more thing, after rom installation don't forget to reinstall TWRP because CORVUS OS replaces it with its own recovery kind of what we used to do with OP7 Pro, I still need to root it, I'm just going to patch the boot image with MAGISK, to me that's the safest way for now. Thanks again.

Yes you need to unlock bootloader in order to flash custom recovery toflash any rom including corvus
The sound of course after miui is not so hot, there is no bass at all, the firmware itself is just up to par, the bass of the music in the dynamics is not felt especially with an incoming call

I have a problem and I'm thinking a lot, and because of my region i can't send masseges in telegram groups that has rose admin.!!so I'm going to ask it here... Why is it necessary to format data befor installing... I mean i have a lot of things in my internal that i cannot delete and for now i don't have any pc or laptop by me to back it up... My last device was redmi 4 prime and it didn't required this so as my nexus 5... It's just I'm installing too much rom and for me formating data every time is really a problem... Is there any fix i could do??

Hello, formatting data is required because it will un-encrypt data partition, doing so will let you use custom roms. This step is needed every time you flash a new rom, at least with this device according to my experience

The best ROM I've experienced so far, great job and thanks!
But there some minor things that are a little annoying, u know, like haptic vibration feedback is tooooo strong. Vibration on gestures and unlocking phone is really strong and hard, can you make it like in other ROMs? Also, when I touch the fingerprint scanner, the whole screen lights up for a moment. It isn't as annoying, as the vibration feedback, but still, I was been using extended UI and the scanner has worked just fine.
Also, some animations are a bit buggy, but it isn't critical.
I hope you will maintain this project, it is the best one so far for this phone. Thanks!

I can't use a finger scanner, when I press it it only blinks and does not allow me to register a fingerprint

All ok except :-
Tap on fingerprint blinks screen on full brightness sometimes
Fingerprint unlocking is not fast, ( scanning fast but the unlocking time is too much, I'm talking about after scanner stops and lock screen goes and before homescreen comes up)
There's no app lock inbuilt
Camera is better than any other rom available for realme x2 but but theres not all options available like slow mo, 64 mp macro etc only video on 30,60 fps and photo available
Status bar top left and right corner hide half battery icon and clock digits. There's no way to fix this.
Call recording not available.

The Anxcamera not working.
v184 give me a Force close. v185 give the "Does not have critical permission.." changelog
Camera v185 and addon v170 work fine.
Addon v181 causes force close of the camera.

Just flash ANX camera it has all the features as stock. micro, 48mp, 4k video, etc

also call recorder isn't automatic... just update the inbuilt phone app from play store and voila!:angel:

When I apply live wallpapers to the wallpaper on home and lockscreen there are many frame drops and laggy ui.
Sometimes after answering call on middle of call it just sound pee pee and goes for shut down I don't know why this happens.
Other things are working a lot better only this two issues I experienced,thanks for great rom.

Not here, fp works like it should. Check if something causes the issue from your side (like eg. Mods or didn't you install it properly anyway.?). Updated to latest firmware? Rom works as expected and well for me so far.
I'm currently on Evo-X 4.6. Came from global miui 11.0.9.0. What I need to do to flash this rom? I mean do I have to flash the required vendor and firmware files first manually? Or just the rom+gapps? Can anyone tell me the full process in short? Help anyone

clean wipe, flash firmware>rom(gapps or vanilla) >>any addons(magisk etc)>reboot
if you download vanilla then you need to install gapps yourself

I have smth to say, i donno if it's a bug or not!
When i toggled on fp unlock after reboot, and tried to unlock the phone after reboot using fp, the home launcher just showing "Phone is starting" and loading screen shows up. Can go to settings if i want to, nth else i can do. This happend yesterday. And last night i clean flashed, i thought smth maybe went wrong, (i did some mods before clean flash :silly: ) again toggled that fp after reboot on, and tried again unlocking phone. Same thing happend. Rebooted phone, tried to unlock w/o using fp, worked fine. No problems w/o this. Great experience, stability is awesome. Loving it. Good job devs :good: waiting for the next update
