I also use that, it works well with wireless beats. Are your headphones bluetooth or wired? I know where to turn the Volume up in the system but only works for Speaker and wired headphones.
Mine are wired. Viper has independent controls

I like the viper as well been using a little over a year now. If you wanted to change the volume you can look in system/etc/default gain.conf
If you open that up with a editor or put onto a computer and open up youll see some default numbers that you can raise and it will make the volume louder. Its pretty easy to understand if you were to open up.It has a description of what numbers are what sound. Im sure your fine with viper but just giving you the option just in case you wanted to learn something.
Is there a way to boost the bluetooth volume on the G3? I used to have a G2 and used the flashable zip in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2799537&nocache=1.
Is there an entry in the mixer_paths.xml that I can edit for this? I looked through it but wasn't sure which value to change. I found a few threads in the themes and apps section for volume boosting but none had a specific bluetooth volume setting.

Downloaded that app but don't see anywhere in it to increase the bluetooth volume. Which option would it be? Headphones, Speakers, Handset, or Aux?

Fot BT audio I think you have to set up Handset, change it to 65, apply, reboot and let me know if it works for you. You must be rooted.

I tried changing all the options except for Aux. None of these worked to increase bluetooth volume.

Are you running a custom kernel? If so, check if your kernel has audio boost options.

No I'm running the stock kernel on Cloudy 2.5. I tried editing the mixer paths Advanced Headset but that didn't seem to increase the bluetooth either.
Anyone ever find a solution to this? I just got my G3 yesterday... running rooted 24B stock right now, but the low BT volume stinks! Do you guys know of any fixes or stock-based kernels that support bluetooth volume boosts?
Finally found a way to end audio lag in apps such as YouTube. After installing Viper4Android and thereby installing their audio driver, audio lag completely disappears. Just make sure to toggle the Master Switch to ON under each listening device tab you intend on using i.e. headset/ phone speaker.
Obviously you need to be rooted to use this method.

Wow! I was in doubt of buying this phone because of the audio problems. If the problem is as simple as proper audio driver, my choice will be easy!
Can someone confirm this?
Problem is that you have to be rooted to use it...

Lmao, P2 doesn't have any audio problems. It's just a small software issue that Lenovo are too lazy to fix! I recommend the phone with both hands.
Is the audio volume low during call? Or static noise during music playback from headphone jack.
Does viper fix all these issues? If yes in would buy this device...
Just wondering if anybody has managed to find a way to boost the headphone volume via usb c?
Previously I would just go into system/vendor/etc/mixer_gains.xml however it seems with our device we don't have this XML file.
The output volume is a bit too low for me, so I was hoping I'd be able to boost it as I have on all my devices in the past.

Hmm I've only seen an option to adjust speaker and mic gain. Nothing for headphones / headset
Who is also facing low volume when using Bluetooth speakers or headphones? When I crank it up to the max it sounds like it's operating at maybe 60% or so. It also happens when I use wired headphones.
I'm using Xiaomi.eu ROM 12.0.7.0.

Yeah I'm getting the same problem with my Haylou GT1 Pros. On my old phone they were much bassier and louder at full volume to the point where I'd have them at 80% max, but now 100% doesn't sound anywhere near as loud. The way I get around this is using Volume Booster GOODEV (available on the Play Store). 11% is enough for me. Be careful not to blow your speakers!

In developer settings there's an option to "disable absolute volume" for Bluetooth. Try that.

That and check through/play with all the sound settings including the buried ones.
Find it... if you do a hard reset it will most likely just crop up again.

Audio issues because of settings misconfiguration is a common Samsung issue.
Fun times... and bad sound.

i was facing same problem while using GT1 pro with POCO X3. go to settings and there is a disable absolute volume in developers mode. turn off this option and boom. ur GT1 pro is on its full volume.
You need to go into volume adjustment(after you plug in the headphones" and pick the other preset, over 60...that fixes it
