Hello... can anyone recommend me a light and stable custom ROM for my Samsung J2 Prime G-532G?
I just want to use it for a point of sales application, gmail, and chat, so no need for social media apps and other fancy stuff.

Just wondering can we put together a list of apps, and bloatware. That can safely be removed after your device is rooted.

I don't know all app's but after I flashed the last time I made a full backup of all app's using titanium backup.
Then I uninstalled everything I don't need with titanium.
Almost all Google apps and all s-app's.
I believe there are still a lot of background app's left with are now unneeded.
I believe I've seen somewhere in the dev.section a clean Rom.
Sorry for my bad English
Look at my rom.. X-Note zero edition (post n. 2) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43118095
Removed almost all bloatware and s note is in a separate zip file…
You can look into the rom zip and remove what you do not need in your device… or you can flash my rom

Check out bobdoblo's battery bible on the Galaxy S2 forums. Although not written for the Note 8, you can still follow most of the guide to maximize battery life. Best and most comprehensive guide I have ever seen, and it works well on both my I9100 and my N5110

Guys, using PA KitKat here(thanks to xenon )..though there are many ported Samsung apps, and some are not possible due to framework requirement, but I got a 55" Samsung smart TV here which I can control with features like allshareplay a nd all..so I searched and didn't find any thread..if there is any way to get all share play and s-link on non tw ROM, just let me know..
PS- I am not sure if it's ported OR not so asking! Thanks.
I'm on Android 5.1.1 on Chinese ROM (yeah, that means no Google Play Services). I've been using Aptoide lately and it has turned out to be an acceptable Play Store alternative.
Anyway, the problem i've encountered lately is with Facebook. Before, I can install the lastest Facebook, regardless of the chipset architecture (ARM, x86). But now, Facebook only runs when installed as x86 version and that means i'm stuck with a very low version of Facebook (like with the Zenfone series). Can anyone on other N1s (especially Taiwanese-flashed ROM) tell me if you guys have the lastest version of Facebook? My current version of Facebook is 58.0.0.28.70. If you guys have lastest version of Facebook, can you extract the apk and send it here? I would be delighted! Much appreciated!
Also, I've found a thread about installing YouTube without Google Play Services. Basically, you'll still get the full YouTube package except for the fact that you can't log in and watch subscribed channels, but it's fine since no YouTube alternative is acceptable (most of them are outdated and are not compatible with Google APIs anymore). Just want a load off your chest since YouTube is essential on every tablet (I can't live without YouTube!).

I Have Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge And Also OnePlus 3 Mobile ... I Love Samsung Music Player .... How To Install Samsung Music Player On OnePlus 3 ..... Please Help Me
The samsung music app requires Touchwiz framework. Porting it will not work or will be too much work.
Use poweramp instead. Download the alpha version if you want (completely stable imo). You might soon end up using it one your s7 edge as well ?
