Hi, I tride to desable the Lookout Security from settings/aps and it was grayed out, turns out that first you have to deactivate by going to settings/Security/Phone Administrators and unchecking the Lookout Security. Then u can disable the whole app from settings/apps. This might help some people.
Thank you for the info!
I have andriod 6.0.1 and when I enable developer options and try to set mock location app, it ignores my choice and instead chooses "Phone Call Management" which I can't even search for?
I am on oos 3.2.4 which is rooted. I notice that my Accessibility settings, specifically Accessibility -- services are being reset of Off even after I change them to on for apps like password managers, native clipboard etc. I am unsure if this happens after a reboot or sometime else. But after a reboot is my main suspect.
Is anyone else seeing this or is it just me? Any idea why?
I just got my watch yesterday and it went through several updates in the first half hour. I think it ended up at the latest update, at Android Wear 1.5.0.3153324, Android OS 6.0.1 and Android security patch level August 1, 2016.
Everything seems to be working great but I'm having one problem. When I select "Calling Setup" in the settings menu I get a screen that says: "Voice Calling Info. To proceed with calling setup, please go to System Updates to install the latest software." When I touch on the OK checkmark on the screen, I get a message that says "System is up to date"
I re-booted the watch, but nothing changed. Is the "calling setup" working for everyone else? Is there anything else I should be setting up or enabling to make this work?
Thanks
Well, despite what I wrote in my posting, the dialing out and dialing in works fine! I had incorrectly concluded that if I couldn't set it up, it wouldn't work. Incorrect assumption!
So, all is well!
Glad your back in business...
I have the same issue. Everything looks like it is set up correctly, but every time I get close to the watch, it pops up a message to start Calling Setup. When I swipe left, it tells me to tap to continue, then I get a message "Voice Calling Info. To proceed with calling setup, please go to System Updates to install the latest software." This message only has a Close button.
When I tap the Close button, it goes to the system updates, which informs me that the system is up to date.
The calling works just fine, but it is very aggravating that the watch keeps prompting me to do Calling Setup.
My watch is doing the same thing.
Nexus 6 with 7.1.1. w/January 5th security patch level
Android Wear version 1.5.0.3594574
Google Play Services 10.2.98 (530-146496160)
Watch has January 1st security patch level
Settings > Bluetooth > Play phone audio on watch = OFF
I don't use my watch speaker because it keeps overriding my car's Bluetooth. But this notification keeps coming back.
When I open the Pixel Watch App, I get a notification to: Go to the Google Play store on your watch to update the Fitbit ECG (electrocardiogram) app.
I did this several times and I don't see any updates available.
Any other ways to update this thing? Or, get rid of the notification? I do dismiss it but it keeps coming back.
Y.u have to do it on your watch
LOL. I know but I don't see how.
EDIT: Just to be a bit clearer: The app tells me that I need to update Fitbit ECG, but when I go to the Play Store on the watch, there is NO update for the Fitbit ECG - there are others that need updating, but not Fitbit ECG.
Same thing happened to mine
Go to Settings > About > Update Google Play Store, wait for Play Store to crash and update, then go to Manage Apps, and Update All.
Hope this helps!
I don't see "About" in Settings.
I see Connectivity, Display, Gestures, Apps & Notifications, Google, Sound, Vibration, Battery, General, Health Profile, Location, Safety & Emergency, Security, and System.

Click to collapse
Settings in Play Store; scroll to the bottom and you will see it there
My bad, I always go to the gear icon when someone mentions "Settings".
So, I did find the "About", but it says, "Google Play Store is up to date"
Honestly, at this point, I'm very much done with this watch. I also have issues with the Map function, I went through freaking hell to set "Home" and once in a while it simply reverts back to "Set home address" - it's infuriating.
Thanks for all the help guys.
