Smartphone-compatible Unclonable Tags? - NFC Hacking

Hi, I'm a bit new to the NFC field. I'm looking through the wide variety of NFC chips on the market and I'm in need of help matching one up to my use-case.
I'm looking for an NFC chip that has some sort of identification method as well as anti-cloning measures. Furthermore, I'm looking for a chip that is compatible with most Smart Phones out of the box. Preferably the chip should be low-cost if possible.
It doesn't need to hold extra data (rather than what's needed for identification). It also doesn't need to be tamper-resistant, super durable, long-lasting, etc.
Is there a chip out there that fits this use case? I was thinking that the NTAG 424 or NTAG 413 would be a good fit, but I'm looking for any other recommendations. Or criticism

Motorcycle "crash proof" Fuse Holder.

I'm looking for a STRONG holder for my phone that I can use to mount to my motorcycle. I have seen the iGrip holder and it seems to be the best so far, but I dont think it would hold my phone in a crash.
I plan on using GPS, maybe an accelerometer, the music player, and a Wireless webcam (rear view camera) if I can find one I could use in Ad-Hoc mode. But all of these require the phone to be visable and with the ability to use the touch screen, yet I dont want my very expensive phone to be trashed if the bike goes down because some little plastic holder lets my phone pop out.
Actually, I want something as strong as the store holders, the ones ment to lock the phone in so people dont steal it.
I dont mind making the mount for the holder to mount to the motorcycle, but making a holder to put my phone in is totally different.
Any ideas? Heck, any place where I could buy the metal mounts that the stores use?
Thanks
Same here
I'm looking for that too.
I do not have much need to use the "touchscreen" on motorcycle(would be better if I could, but I no longer looking for this feature). I'll use to GPS and to know who is calling me.
The equipment of the "RAM-MOUNT (www.ram-mount.com) seem to be cool, and they have a model (Acqua Box) that are waterproof.
Only the price is that I thought could be better, but ... There is my suggestion / tip.
If you find something better or cheaper, please tell. And preferably that ships to the world.
Any ideal if the Fuze would fit in the UNPKD RAM MEDIUM SIZE AQUA BOX?
For my Kaiser I've choosed the SMALL ACQUA BOX, but I don't know the sike of the Fuse.
Anyway, is better get a bigger than a smaller box.
In the manufacturer's Web site, both RAM and HTC, you can find the dimensions of products, including the internal space within the ACQUE BOX.

I have a Sigma tri-light for my bicycle that I modded with a piece of metal, some rubber for stability and a magnet. So far it's working quite well.

NFC tags , NFC stickers , NFC Key FOGs in Australia

Can someone please advise me with best NFC tags for galaxy s3 in Australia. I searched arond on ebay but would be good if some one who actually have used them can give some suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
I bought some from chipwave.co, based in Melbourne.
As far as I can tell there are a couple of different types:
plain paper stickers, which cannot be used outside or on metal surfaces
Insulated stickers that can be used in wet areas or on metal surfaces.
Also there are a coupel of different memory sizes. I bought 1kb types.
Things like turn on wifi or turn off bluetooth take not much memory (4bytes? cant remember) so you could get a few simple tasks on one. I think 1kb are around the largest you can get readily and cheaply.

[Q] Where to get the NFC Antenna?

Hi,
I have ordered a decent looking extended battery, (I know the battery life of the 7100 is much better than the 7000, but I like a fat case) but of course the back has no NFC antenna. I bought the cheapest case with a NFC antenna, hoping for a successful transplantation.
But, are those NFC antenna's on their own for sale somewhere? Looked at eBay but no luck until now....
thanks for listening,
I'd like to buy one (or two) also. There are some nice, inexpensive covers available without NFC ability, and I have 2 of them. They have the place marked out but not antenna.
Sooner or later someone's gotta make these available...right?
In fact, some companies like Sunshine Good Electronics and Pulse have specialized in the manufacturing of NFC antenna for mobiles. However, they all want to deal with those guys that buy the goods in wholesome so that information about the NFC antenna are only provided in B2B websites. Maybe you shall wait, one day someone will sell the goods for retail.
Thanks, I bought one on eBay

Recommend any accessories?

Not just the typical ones (cables, hdmi/slimport, OTG USB, cases, screen protectors, etc) but anything else. This could be unique cases (such as cases with some sort of added functionality), unique add ons, accessories, etc. trying to google "android accessories" usually just yields all the obvious stuff, or pointless things like stuffed androids, tshirts, etc.
Just curious what's out there. So far other than case+ screen protector, I've bought nfc tags, slimport, OTG. Lol.
Basically useful accessories for your android device. Preferably compatible with nexus 5

[Q] Band/Strap Size?

Slightly random question, but can anybody with the Zenwatch advise on how large the strap is? As in, what size wrist it'll accommodate?
My wrists are stupidly large (don't ask, I have no idea), so I'm wondering whether I'll need to swap the band out. They''re about 220mm (about 8.6 in). That's assuming it ever gets to my country.
The included strap will not fit anything above roughly 7.5 inches. However, the strap is extremely easy to change out, and there should be plenty of 3rd party straps that will fit your needs.
As a note, the watch is pretty long so after market straps will have an exaggerated length. I'd say I have a medium wrist but I'm using the shortest setting on the aftermarket strap I bought.
Thanks for that guys - looks like an after-market strap. I don't suppose the Asus clasp can be redeployed onto a different strap, do you think? I've seen similar accessories out there, but I don't know much about that sort of thing.
I highly doubt it. The bottom part could probably work if you found just the right band but the top part (the clasp past that says "asus") is pinned and I can't imagine it would be very easily modified. Not even sure the pin can be removed. The way Asus made the band removable from the watch is pretty slick though and makes me think they plan on coming out with different interchangeable bands. Who knows when though....
Thank you. After having a look, a lot of the places that sell straps also sell "deployment clasps" (a new term for me). An after-market option that replaces the buckle of a strap with a unit that then slots into one of the holes. They seem to be fairly universal and, whilst possibly not being as slick as the supplied clasp they perform the same task. It would seem that you could replicate the advantages of the stock strap.
Something like these (I think) http://www.watchworx.co.uk/pages/access/deploy.html (random Google result - I have no affiliation)
Yes, you CAN reuse the ASUS deployment clasp.

Thank you - yes - I'd seen that. Would appear you need a band that tapers from 22mm to 18mm (or can do some modifications.
