i am trying to update to android 11 from android 10....
i wanted to get update in evolution x ,havoc OS
so pls help me with your ideas
things i have done till this far:
i have updated my orange fox recovery
i am always using clean flash to update the OS
i have check correctly the version of OS(havoc is not getting updated beyond 4.0,and evolution x is not getting updated beyond 3.7)

I wanna to ask if i install cynogen release version on my oneplus 3 , will it auto update if there is anroid 7 available ?
Don't think OTA is working but CM14.1 is available 7.1 from CM site
My HTC 10 has Android OS, v6.0.1, and I NEVER want it to be updated to Nougat 7.0 (intentionally or unintentionally), because I have a app that only works on v6.0.1.
Is there a way for me to PERMANENTLY DISABLE the update so my phone ALWAYS remains with Android OS, v6.0.1?
Also if by accident it got updated to Nougat 7.0 - is there a way for me to revert it back to OS, v6.0.1?
I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Disable auto updates. If you're already getting the update notification I think there is a way to disable it, not sure how myself.
If you update to 7.0, you can downgrade provided you are s-off and have a stock 6.0 RUU for your phone.

I have installed Pixel Experience Android Pie Rom and recently got a system update through it. While I try to install it through TWRP, I get an "Updater Error 7" in red color font. I tried with latest TWRP as well as Orange Fox Recovery. Also tried by downloading latest rom directly from the website.
I tried the other workaround by editing updater script file and gets "Error 6".
I never had these issues when I installed Pixel Experience for the first time from MIUI 10.
Is there something that can be done to fix this issue?
Model : Redmi Note 5 Pro (whyred)
Android Version : 9 (Pie)

Update : For anybody experiencing the same problem, I guess it is an issue with that particular build (May 23 update of PE).
You may wait for the next Official update or switch to any other Rom otherwise. I have switched to Havoc OS and is loving the option to be able to get more customizations.

I just started learning how to root my one plus 5t and in the middle of the proces i bricked it , found an software online that unbricks your phone and i got it back at android 7.1.1 and oxygenOS 4.7.4.
I want to put it back to the highest android and the newest available oxygen os for the 5t. But the update function doesnt work or to be precise it says that the newest version is already installed. I tried to manualy update it but when i tried it says update failed.
If anyone has more experience ( practicaly everyone ) i would be grateful for your help

The official ROM, and working TWRP Recovery.
If you would do exactly the same as mentioned in the post , probably you will get Android Q along with TWRP installed.

hey @mzcphoenix wondering how you made out with this? i bought a camecho 7023B that accepts android 10 and my phone is at 13. wondering if its possible to get this to work.
