Ok I'm having an issue where in Messenger, my watch does not vibrate whenever I receive a FB Msgr Notification. I actually have to turn on my watch to even know I got a reply. Another I have is that it does not show me the Messenger thread like it does in Hangouts nor the quick reply menu, I know the only work around I have for the missing vibration is to turn off Chat Heads on the phone. has anyone been having these issues?
I have a newly updated Moto 360 4.4W.1 and Stock Android on a Nexus 5.
I can't tell you. When I first got the 360 it seemed to work fine. I had to turn off messenger as I was getting 50 or so messages an hour. Really annoying on the watch and definitely caused battery life to take a hit.
I have the same issue. I think it has something to do with the chat heads. I turned them off, and now waiting for a responce. to see if that is the issue.

confirmed, if I turn off Chat heads, it works fine. but that sucks cause I want chat heads!
Some time ago my 360 doesn't vibrate anymore, when I get a Viber or FB message, it only displays the message. In the phone apps the vibrate is turned on. Does anyone have the same problem ?
You mean Viber used to work on the Moto 360? It doesn't vibrate on mine... but it shows the message.

Same here! it does show notification on 360 but no vibration! I will try to fix this now with universal medicine, such as one I fixed google now reminders! Clear viber cache and delete all old messages!
if you use Facebook Messenger, chat heads somehow stops the watch vibrating.
If you turn it off, your watch will vibrate on every FB messenger message.
I don't use Viber so can't help you there.
Thanx, I'll try that with FB. Maybe you are right about Viber, and it only worked on my previous Gear Fit.
My Watch Notifier App
Hello,
I had exactly the same problem with the Viber messages
I wrote to Viber to ask them to update their notification which I think is 2 line of code and they answered me:
"This feature is not currently available. We are always happy to receive new feature ideas and requests from our users.
We will take your feedback into consideration as we work towards improving our services and enhancing your Viber experience!"
Ok, I knew that the feature is not available. But it is also just 2 lines of code ... common ...
This was the reason why I created my own app that simply gets all the notifications and you could select for which of them to send a message to the Watch to Vibrate.
Here is the link on the playstore - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.newlinetechnology.wearvibrationapp
I'm using it on my Moto 360 for about 2 weeks and I don't have any issues. So if you want you could give it a try and let me know if you have any comments.
Thanks and Kind Regards,
Yanislav
Hey @flymanj if we give notification access to android wear too, will we receive the notifications twice or just once?

The notification will be received just once. I'm not showing a new notification as the Android wear handles it pretty well, but just makes the device vibrate
Kind Regards
Hi there, I was wondering if anyone might have any suggestions on how I could disable the Android Marshmallow doze/deep sleep mode that is default on new devices to save battery. I have a OnePlus 3 and have made every effort to check that all my notifications for calendar, whatsapp, emailing, etc. are set to both vibrate and make a sound, disabled all battery optimization features for apps, tried using screenlock wake apps to avoid missing notifications, and more. However, I am still unable to get notifications for whatsapp, emails, calendar reminders and events once my screen goes to sleep or I lock then phone and it's idle (so after about 15-30 minutes of it sleeping), but calls and texts seem to come through fine (or at least I haven't noticed these being an issue as much). This is a HUGE inconvenience, as my main reason to have a smartphone is so I can check emails, calendar events and such right as I receive them, and not only when I wake up my screen (which then bombards me with all my previous missed notifications from hours before). I have a feeling this is an android 6.0 issue and not due to the OnePlus 3, because it's been reported in other sites and by people with phones also using either this OS or lollipop. My older Samsung galaxy S4 running kitkat never had these problems, and at this point I'm very keen on going back if I can't get my new phone (or this OS, as I predict) to notify me right away even when my screen is locked and phone asleep (I can't always remember to check it especially if I'm busy at work). I am willing to root the phone and change settings if that's an option, but I would please like to see if you guys have any other suggestions for allowing my phone to receive notifications right away even when in sleep mode/idle/dozing. Thank you for your time in advance. Oh last thing, I also posted this question in other forums because I am honestly quite desperate to find out what I can do to resolve this issue, so I'm sorry if that's an inconvenience...

Problem solved
Oneplus just released a new oxygen OS update which takes care of the notification issues. But to resolve this before this OTA came out I rooted and disabled the doze mode with dumpsys deviceidle. So all is good now!

Problem was NOT SOLVED with 3.2.1 OTA you still need to disable Doze in order to fix it.
Sent from my SM-T810 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Checked all entries but no one has found a certain solution for this problem yet ;( I tried every suggestion but few apps still shows notifications lately (instagram)
or showing without sound (okcupid)
or with no vibrate like tinder...l
Any suggestion to get rid of this paranoia? Im sick of checking screen for notifications all time.
Thx
Does anyone knows how to force Activity notification, that one that allerts you to get up and move if you are sitting for more than one hour, to work also after midnight?
Sometimes I work until 5 in the morning and most of the time I am to focused on what I am doing, that I forget to get up every now and then. So, I notice that after midnight, the watch don't give that alert.
Hmmm that is weird. Maybe try to deactivate/activate this feature again....I get the reminder after midnight
