i can't format my phone - Realme 6 Pro Questions & Answers

i have realme 6 pro ( RMX 2063 ) i forgot lock-screen so i turn off the phone and boot to recovery mode but when i click to wipe data it ask for lock-screen password i don't know what to do , the bootloader is locked and the phone does not want to enter in the fastboot at all plz can someone help me

Go into fastboot mode (volume- and power button) then into recovery mode. Select your language then when in recovery mode select wipe data then enter the number shown on the screen to get wipe menu. Select format data (not wipe data) you will then be able to restart your phone but it will be wiped clean just like it was when new.

No FDReset option in recovery mode. Zenfone 2

Hello. Very frustrating day so far indeed.
This is an AA&T Z700D ASUS Zenfone 2
HW_VERSION - 4
BOOTLOADER VERSION - 2.52
IFWI VERSION - 91.37-DEV
The phone is locked out of operation due to a lock screen. (Pattern lock/forgot pattern)
Attempting to perform a "Factory Data Reset" I:
Turned phone off.
Pressing "Volume up" + "Power On" I released the "power" button when phone vibrated.
Continuing to hold "Volume up," the phone entered what "looks like" recovery. However, there are only 3 options.
NORMAL BOOT
POWER OFF
RECOVERY MODE
RESTART BOOTLOADER
I chose "RECOVERY MODE" and pressed power.
The phone turnes off, shows ASUS splash screen and vibrates, then enters:
"Android system RECOVERY <3e>
ATT_12.16.10.76
Volume up/down to move highlight;
enter button to select.
Reboot system now.
Apply update from ADB.
Apply update from MicroSD
*NOTE there is no factory data reset options? Nor Wipe cache partition etc either?
Can anyone give me an idea of how to perform the steps necessary to do a factory data reset on this phone?
Thank you.
Hi,
Might be you could try to do it via Backup and Reset option in settings.

My device does not boot or enter in fastboot mode or twrp (only factory reset)

I have my device rooted with bootloader unlocked and TWRP installed. I tried to install xposed and after clear cache/dalvik it does not boot.
When I try to get into recovery mode it goes to factory reset, not to TWRP I also tried to enter in fastboot, It worked once but the adb does not recognized it and the phone did not enter in this mode again.
Any advice?? Thanks in advance
hi did u find the solution? how did you enter into fastboot?

Bootloader > TWRP > Format Data
Access the Bootloader by holding Volume Down + Power while turning on the phone, install TWRP by writing
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
in your platform-tools folder. Last, format data by going into Wipe menu in TWRP and pressing the Format Data button.
Here's the TWRP for RM5G:

(don't forget to change it to English)
One thing to note is that twrp doesn't boot without a working (doesn't need to be able to boot to system) super partition (not sure which partition of it, probably vendor tho). So you should flash a super image from the black magic rom or a super partition from another device (mi 10 works) with twrp.

Question BOOTLOOP Nightmare!!!

Totally stock and stuck in bootloop. Is there a way I can get the data off without erasing it?
I've tried connecting it to the pc but the pc will not recognize it although in fastboot the usb cable is detected by the phone.
I've downloaded the smart and rescue app and it doesn't recognize that the phone is connected.
Recovery mode no longer offers the wipe cache option.
Is there an app on pc or some special commands or something that will allow me to retrieve my data?
Phone is completely stock BTW
TIA
Heruktiang
See if you can get to go into safe mode... may have try more then once.
Something crashed it proper. Any new apps?
If by safe mode you mean recovery mode yes I can. But it offers no solutions that i am aware of. What should I do once in recovery? there is no longer an option to wipe cache.
i just need to copy the data to my pc so i can factory reset it
Use the physical button commands to get into safe mode on boot up.
Sometimes on my Samsung just rebooting from the recovery menu would automatically trigger it to boot into safe mode when it was boot looping.
It's odd you lost the clear the cache option.
yea recent update last week and im sure there is a new app in there.
In fastboot mod my options are :
start
restart bootloader
recovery mode
power off
factory mode
switch console
barcodesbp tools
qcom
bootloader logs
switch tools mode
in recovery mode the options are:
reboot system now
reboot to bootloader
enter fastboot
apply update from adb
"" "" sd card
wipe data/factory reset
mount/system
view recovery logs
run graphics test
run locale test
power off
there must be some way to get the data off
