Tried this ROM and I like how they managed to simulate MIUI 12 UI yet I didn't like that there is not option to invert navbar nor to whitelist some apps from dark mode nor sunlightmode.

You can flash it normally, I'm not sure if you need Android 11 firmware. But I think the firmware from miui 12 should fit

Anyway, EU 12 Stable ROM is very good in Battery and is quite smooth, with almost no bugs at all. So OrangeFox will allow EU OTA Stable Updates, right? (I see that in the Settings Menu) This is my first time to use EU Stable ROM. I have always used AOSP ROMS before. I have tried EU Weekly ROMs, but with bugs.

Yes MIUI Android 11 is still in development but AOSP based Android 11 custom ROMs are almost stable (in my opinion). OTAs are as far as I know built into an EU updater app. If you use the stock MIUI Firmware then it's built into the settings app. I'm using only AOSP ROMs because the telephony volume is too low and nothing helped. With AOSP, the phone volume is significantly higher.

Thank you. I am planning to root my EU Stable ROM to install Viper4Android.
Do you notice that AOSP ROM offers greater smoothness and performance and battery than UE ROMs?
Hello. Has anyone been using the latest Stable Build of MIUI MIX? They say it is based on EU ROM but is more optimized and has better battery. I am on current stable EU 12 Stable ROM. Is MIUI MIX better?

My Battery life is with DotOS great. Now with 56% it lasts until 6 am tomorrow and now in germany it's 3.30 pm. But I had those great batterylife with other AOSP based ROMs too. If you want something special as for UI design then choose DotOS. You will have good batterylife with any stable ROM. I don't know how unstable ROMs impact battery life. I can really recommend DotOS. The design is much better than a normal AOSP in my opinion. I really like that design

I believe the correct installation procedure is to update to Android 10 beta with the official ASUS firmware and then DotOS.

In last build , when updating with dirty flash Fingerprint not working.
I made a fresh install and the fingerprint option not appear in install process. Only PIN acept.

Hi, vibration doesn't work on my device too. I've checked it on logcat. (Not sure if post it here or else)
It seems that the rom has been discontinued for the Mix 2, but DotOS has released a GSI version. does anyone know if it is possible to update this rom directly by patching the new GSI version?
I have never used GSI roms and am very hesitant.
Installed v5.0.1 from official site, vibration does not work, everything else works fine
I confirm that it is possible to upgrade to DotOS 5.1 using the GSI image, but unfortunately I have not been able to get the camera working.
I'm moving to LineageOS 18.1 for the stability, but it's amazing how nice and good DotOS is. I hope in the future the developer will continue to support the Mix 2.

some firmware checker apps are out there in playstoe and an option is there in orfox recovery also , if both the ways didnt help you just flash required firmware you want , it gets updated

I experience lag when I open the app drawer and when I launch apps same in the settings when i scroll.

Hi, I see two bugs: the first one is using pin unlocking; if I am on lock screen and try to unlock phone using pin instead of fingerprint, it does not work, also using pin at apps fails (for example, using it for copy a password on chrome saved passwords). The other one is about System UI, as seen on the screenshot. It looks bugy at the right corner. Anyway, the ROM works very well, very smooth. Thanks for your work!
Does not work for me. Unlocked bootloader and tried to install it with either TWRP, Pitchblack Recovery or Orangefox, but all of them are giving Error 1.

I think you have to flash the Android 11 ported MIUI ROM first, since there is the required Firmware in order to run and boot the DotOS ROM since it is build on Android 11. The ported MIUI ROM can be founded here:

haven't noticed any bugs on the latest build. Only my tiktok get stuck sometimes but it happens on different roms too

its in the thread. you should try to read more as flashing custom roms might be dangerous on your device if you don't read instructions properly

One question though, how can I enable 3 button navigation? I can't find the option for it anywhere.
I'm running the GAPPS build, on Resmi 9T.
And yes, I've looked in all sorts of places in the options.

Thanks, really appreciate it. I want review dot OS rom (newbie viewpoint), eye catching design, easy customization and good battery saving than other rom, but there are no option to enable 3 button navigation and no games mode like crdroid. bugs that i found : glitch screen when scroll on a browser or a web page that contain video.
