I recommend to install better battery stats (BBS), record an idle dump and post it in the BBS thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/app-2-2-05-oct-v2-4-betterbatterystats.1179809/)
There are many experts giving tips and advised to optimize battery life.

Hello.
Yesterday my phone was working on stock rom, ice cream sandwich firmware ver no 6.1.A.2.45 and everything was OK.
I have installed rom CyanogenMod 10:
first I have unlocked bootloader.
Next I have followed this tutorial:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O52IeX93Jek
After that I have installed GAPPS from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1918616&page=3
But I have uninstalled all of the cyanogen mod apps by my mistake. So I installed cyanogenmod once again, and after that I installed GAPPS once again.
But my battery was horibble. So I have installed nova kernel from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2031064
But It did not improved the battery life...
It is not normal because I have read that I should get about 1,5 battery life with medium usage. But today I did only couple of facebook and email check, listened to the music for 10minutes and talk for about 10 minutes. I have screen light on 0%, no wifi, only 3g on. My procesor is on powersaving, I have even underclock it to about 1200Mhz... And what I get is 8-9 hours of battery life... (as you can see on the screen)
I do not know what to do, cause I'm not experienced user. I was trying to find the similar problem on the forum but I did not succeed.
Thank you for reading and hopefully somebody knows a solution. If I can add some informations that you need to solve this problem, please do not hesitate to ask.
Regards
Michael

hey buddy
try reset factory ( settings > backup & reset > factory data reset )
I'm on freedom os CE based on the latest community build, I've wiped the cache and stuff but I'm still getting awful battery life, can someone please help me? See the screenshots for the kind of battery life I'm getting
you want help but are not providing ANY informations about your phone. how should anybody help you like that?
tell if you are using a custom ROM or stock. then install some apps like WakelockDetector or BetterBatteryStats and give screenshots from them after they had some time to gathers informations. also a log could help (any app like Logcat or something).
I did, I said what rom I was on and also posted screenshots, for further info, I had 24min screen on time at that moment.
Back up WhatsApp chats or anything with Google account,
And apks, do a clean install again!

Sry on rom thing. But still these screenshot dont help anything.
Check logcat to see if some commands keep getting spammed. And like i said better battery stats to check wakelocks.
Further did you dirty flash? Did you restore your current system as nandroid (some twrp versions cause issues on that)?
I am still running 4.7.1 out of the box, should I update to 4.7.6? I'm happy with the battery life and all round use of the phone, etc. Will updating to newest build introduce any issues/defects?

Has anyone receive this update? The last time I upgraded to Android 9 I had terribly WiFi signal until I had to downgrade back to. Anyways, I just thought I should share the info.
The new update works great for me. I updated to the first Pie release, it sucked, bad ram management, terrible battery life. So i downgraded back to Oreo, then i saw this new release and gave it a try. So far had no issues, Ram management is much better than first release, battery life is great, about 5hrs SOT, 3hrs of that is heavy gaming. No issues with signal strength or with wifi or with bluetooth. Performance is great also, no lags, smooth overall experience. I'm using a Korean variant V300L.
*I'm not sure all the improvements are a result of multiple factory resets i did or purely the new update.
It's only for Korean variants. I hope European variants also get in 1st week of September

I do not want to download and flash kdz because it will reset my phone and I have very important things there that no amount of backup is worth it. I started using LG bridge-like u said thinking it just update my device but I saw that it was trying to download a file for 3.3gb so I aborted knowing it will probably be a full flash.
