I am trying wrap my head around what phone I could get to run a custom rom on a Verizon network (CDMA).
I am open to a Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / or S20 Ultra just searching around and finding almost nothing. Everthing seems to be primary GSM. I am unsure where to start when looking for a unlocked phone or if it's even possible with Verizon.
Thanks

I have s20 ultra purchased originally from Telus. Its unlocked.
Now I'm with Rogers but phone do not get 5g signal. It stays on LTE even though I have 5g coverage. If I insert my sim in oneplus 8 pro I get 5g on that.
Talked to samsung and rogers and they have no idea. Both says everything good from their side.
Any suggestions?

This is the s20 forum. I don't know about your Note, but the s20 can use the branded firmware for the unlocked phones if you flash it correctly.
samsung s20 ultra exynos that was routed and returned to the original rom, but the device was without network signal.
the software version was XEF/XEF,XEF/WWD
what i don't understand how this WWd appeared
or where I can get this specific rom or is there any way to solve it, I'm with s20 ultra turned into a tablet
can anybody help me
So, I have the unlocked variant of the S20. & it's model is SM-G981U1 & it could be exynos(ordered from Samsung). I see there's a root for S20, +, FE etc. But I can't seem to find one for the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G. So, instead of doing what is normally do I, I'll ask for help.
Hi folks,
I am not able to get 5G on my Samsung S22 Ultra here in India, which was imported from UK, so has the Exynos 2200 chipset. Although it supports all the 5G network bands required here, for some reason it does not switch to 5G.
Could you guys help me out. Is there any way to unlock the device or something.
Thanks
Me too
Any way to connect 5G.
