As-salam-o-alikum,
Hi guys,
I just want to know about different custom roms and before the installation i need to know three things about it
Stability
Appearance
Performance
This thread can help all the users who are going to try or install new custom rom,
So,
Please rate the rom you are currently using in these three categories from out of 10 how much you give and the name of rom of course.
I think you got my point.
Thank you.

No, rating and comparing roms is rude to the developers.

yup,
m agree with u,
but is there any other way to know about custom roms before installation?
because its difficult to install n check every rom.
Screenshots, specifications of the rom, reading other's replies what they are facing issues with the rom they're tesing/using and much more.
Check comments.
m doing the same thing,
but still long process,
ok then there should be all in one thread which describes every rom,
its screen shots, specifications, also its completed or wip

cm7/gingerbread = stable
ics = stable but not as stable as gingerbread
jb= stable, but experimental and not bugfree.
base every rom on wich android version its based on.
stability, battery and features are different in my opinion:
stability>battery>features. more important>less important
gingerbread is most stable andbest for battery, but less features.
ics is balanced. stable and features, but not as good with battery then Gingerbread, and not as good with features as jellybean
jellybean is the less stable, but has the most features. less battery though.
Hello guys ... i want a stable version of cyanogen mod 10.1 without any bugs for this phone ..... any help ?? or any link of the ROM ??
And I want an option for our phone to print money ...
We are at the beginning of developing roms, there is no CM without bugs, and in my opinion no ROM doesn't have bugs, even the official Roms are buggy.
Our Phone needs time and a few more DEV's who want to contribute.
SURDU PETRU just started and made the only availiable CM-ROM, there is no other version, so you will have to wait for a version without many bugs.
hey
I would like to ask the rom flash geeks about the best kernel for lineage os
or is it best to stick to the rom's kernel.
thanks in advance
I know I should better try all but I want to hear from the expeienced as I don't want to test the kernel for a long time I am little busy with my exams currently
thanks again
Hello everybody, I will start building Custom Roms in the next few days.
Which one I'm building I don't know yet, I'll try a few to build.
So be curious and wait for new info
Greetings kevte89
Hi @kevte89. I Would love PixelExperience ported to Mi 8 Pro.
Ideally, I would love to have customisations made to Phhusson's GSI ROM to get the non-working bits for equuleus working. (Fingerprint sensor, VoLTE most importantly). Then other GSI ROM developers would be able to integrate those patches to their ROM to instantly give us a good choice of ROMs.
Maybe that could give you some ideas, but a custom MIUI ROM is probably not what most are looking for.... I'm looking for more stock based ROMs to get away from MIUI.
By the way... did you get started yet and do you need any help testing? You can reach out to me in a PM... I have professional software testing experience that may be of benefit.
Dear developers,
I want to thank you for your time and consideration building ROMs for our begonia.
Gone are the times of cfw and we have plenty of choice of custom roms.
It's time to port MultiRom manager! So, we could taste all available ROMs here and there. I haven't got the knowledge to do it. If I had I would ported it a lot time ago.
Other question here is...
Why none custom ROM (at this moment) can deactivate SIM 1 or 2 as in MIUI?
That thing makes me stay on greeshan repack. Is don't like MIUI. I prefer working with Aosp style and island.
If a developer needs tester for doing this 2 things or introduces some or all upgrades on his or her ROM let me know.
God Bluetooth bless you!
