Hi! I'm a newbie and I would like to ask some questions regarding flashing firmware, csc and modem.
I have an unlock international Note 2 N7105, and I live in Australia. I would like to flash unbranded stock firmware but most of the firmware in Australia are old and branded. So I decided to flash the recent Baltic XXDMC3 and change the CSC and modem to Australia. so my question are:
1. Will my phone work if I flash the Baltic firware and change the CSC and modem to Australia. Is it affect my phone performance?
2. Will my phone receive update via skies and OTA after I change the CSC and modem?
3. Is anyone here try the Baltic XXDMC3 yet? If yet how was it?
Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone,
I have an Australian S9 and I don't live in Australia.
I still haven't got the pie update and I understood that it's because I have Australian firmware.
Can I just flash another version with Odin?
Or I need to do a full wipe?
If it's the G960F just flash the DBT (Germany) Pie firmware with ODIN

Thanks a lot!
Where is it best to download from?
And does having firmware of another country affect me somehow or it's OK?
I would like to ask is it possible if a G9600 firmware can flash on to G960U model without any problems?

Hi,
Bought a phone in US G988U but I am canada and need a firmware like G988W for Canadian BMC carrier
Is there a compatibility issue to do it?
https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G988W/BMC/G988WVLU1BTI8
Was thinking to download this one. If need, i'll change the CSC after.
Thanks!
yes
Hi All,
I have a Samsung Z fold 4 ‐ SM-F936N model (Korea version). I want to use it in India. Can I flash BL, AP and CP from SM-F936N firmware and CSC and Home CSC from SM-F936B (india compatible version)'s firmware (CSC as OXM, and Home CSC as INS)?
Want to do this primarily for Samsung Pay and removing Korean telecom files which came installed by default.
Also, assuming it is possible, will it impact OTA update?

I Can´t speak without doubs, but, AFIK, you can´t mix firmware files nor use firmwares from different HW versions...

No different models You will end up with a bricked phone.

Flashing firmware does not change csc u have to use something like samkey or samfw csc changer
Can you use 5G in India I have the same model and I can’t I want to use 5G
I successfully flashed my fold4 from US Verizon to US AT&T but video call doesn't work. Flashing from completely different region models might be more problematic.
