I am not seeing my task bar. Task bar is enabled and Dark Icon is not selected. I can scroll down from the top to see the drop down but that's it. Any suggestions?

I am using dcinobar.exe to remove the bottom bar from my xv6800. It works great and i was wondering if there is a similar app that does the same for the top start menu bar. Not really interested in wisbar right now and i couldnt find any info with the search.

try vjtoggleiialpha : you'll be able to reduce or mask top and bottom bar + show/hide the launcher bar (just above the softkey (bottom) bar)
In the video seen here http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/08/android-open-kang-project-navigation-bar/ guy adds launcher shortcut for app drawer. I do no have the option for launcher setting. I can do apps, phone setting, and from control but the option he had for launcher setting is simply not there for me. I've wiped and re installed, updated nova to newest as well as beta and yes I tried the nova aokp came with. Nothing gives me this option. Any ideas?
[Also, anyone know how he did that light scrolling thing immediately above the nav bar?
The 'light scrolling thing' was a 'MIUI-style battery bar' found here:
Settings > ROM Control - statusbar > Battery
Enable it in the 'battery bar location', change the style to 'center-mirrored' and enable the 'charging animation' to get the animation he was getting in the video (or so I believe).
I can't answer the navigation bar launcher option issue because I'm still on AOKP M4.
the ability to add the app drawer to the nav bar isn't available as yet...
i spoke with the nova dev n he said he had spoken to aokp devs already and the next beta of nova should have a shortcut that can be added to the nav bar... the basis fdor this i believe is because opening the app drawer is launcher dependant..
How do I get the status bar to not expand automatically on first touch? I'm using Gravity Box and want to change a few things in the status bar, like slide left/right on the status bar to dim/brighten the screen, but on first touch the status bar expands so it isn't possible. Anyway to disable this feature?
I have the exact same issue. I would like to know the answer to this also.
My Nav Bar icons keeping disappearing using Custom Navagation Bar app. If I go into the app and toggle it off and back on they reappear but then eventually disspear again. The button will still work but no icon.

I'm using the nova 7 launcher. my status bar on top of my screen goes missing when I go to home screen.

Do you have dark icons turned on?
Try opening Nova setting / Look and Feel / Turn off "Dark icons" under Notification settings.
Or there in this section is also option to show status bar, make sure it's on.
