HEY! So my HTC 10 got struck on this boot loop. Plug in Charger it starts by itself till Android htc logo then restarts again.
Changes.
To get into bootloader Now (power + vol up and down) work.
Power + vol down take to either recovery or download mode ( does nothing... htc logo and restart)
In bootloader it show no info S-on, Official software state, locked. Since its s-on, nothing seems to be working from guides.
Cant get identifier token either with command.
Here is video https://streamable.com/jieofg
Any help or point to a guide would be appreciated.
can you get it into download mode?

Hi, I updated with wrong recovery file and the device stuck in the boot logo. Even powering down is also not working. I can see that mac detects the USB device as HTC Android device. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello prakash... Press power plus volume up for 10 seconds. It will automatically restart. As soon as you see it's restarting press volume down.. it will go into bootloader..
Flash proper recovery now from fastboot.. enjoy
Or directly go to boot loader if your phone is off.
Volume down + power.

Is your problem solved ?
If not how did you get into that problem ?
Did you try force shutting down by pressing power down ?
Did you try "Press power plus volume up for 10 seconds" option ?

even i am stuck in this mode, after the 3rd step from WinDriod Toolkit flashed supersu, returned to install Lineage OS from TWRP mode, was sucessful in that too however forgot to install GAPPS after that and proceeded further, phone asked that super su not installed and if i want to install one now, proceeded from there and the screen now shows a 'sad Teal colour smile',
Also the volume + power up worked and device restarted however vol + power down doesnt seem to work and device returns to the same state 'sad Teal colour smile'.

When u press +volume +power and it restarts and screen goes black. Immediately press -volume +power. U will be able to get into recovery this way
The phone is stuck either with the battery screen or when I turn it on on the green and white android boot screen. When holding power and vol down it enters the hboot/fastboot menu, it is unlocked and S-ON. No options in either menu do anything. Recovery when selected enters the android boot screen with recover loading on top however it eventually reboots the device which heads back into the regular android boot screen. Please help, I do not care if the device remains unlocked or goes into stock android firmware.

read this mate http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2694600
I unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP Recovery using the OP3 Tool. However now the phone will not boot unless I press the power button a few times. When it does boot I get the "Your device is not safe message", if I boot from here I get the OnePlus logo with the "powered by android" text but then it just shuts off. If I use the volume keys to select something else, I get nothing, the fastboot mode just gets stuck on the fastboot until I turn the device off, recovery just reboots to the "Your device is not safe screen".
Any help would be wonderful

Did you flash anything while you were unlocking the bootloader? The message is shown when the bootloader is unlocked so that is ok. Your phone, however, should turn on by long pressing the power button. You're getting a bootloop, If I were in such a situation I'd use the fastboot mode to flash the stock firmware again to get the phone working...

If you get into Fastboot (white screen withe the options), you should be able to run the RUU with the phone connected to a computer, which will wipe the phone, but will also make it usable again, via the least technical way possible.
You should be able find the Correct RUU for your carrier or unlocked device from HTC's website here: http://www.htc.com/us/support/updates.aspx

RUU's are run via download mode, not from the bootloader menu, as you have described.

hi I have tried to ruu but as phones stuck in loop it wont charge over 30% sadly
Have you tried the volume down+Power Button method to get in recovery and reset to factory setting option? If you do this, all your data will be erased, just a fair warning. Hold volume down+Power button for 15-20 seconds, screen will go black and as soon as HTC logo appear, let the power button go while keeping the volume down pressed. Good luck!

I am having the same issue....You cannot get into recovery or download mode, it loops too. All you can do is to get into the bootloader.
