[Q] Help please! Backlight but no video signal

I have a G2 running CyanogenMod 6.1rc1. It was working wonderfully until this morning, when it stopped displaying any image/video on the screen. The backlight still works, and I can unlock it (and turn on the LED flashlight) by memory, so the touch sensor is working, but I get no video at all (even in hboot/usb-fastboot).
I talked with a couple of guys in #cyanogenmod, and they say it's probably a hardware problem (damage to screen's ribbon cable), and needs to be RMA'd. I'd like to get CM off of the phone before sending it off, just to be on the safe side. Is there a way to do that without being able to see the phone screen (i.e., via ADB and/or specific keypress sequence for Clockwork Recovery)?
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Slightly faulty Desire screen

I have a Desire with a screen that no longer responds 100% correctly to touch input. There is a small patch in the bottom right of the screen which registers movement once pressure is already applied, but fails to respond when touched directly. It's not a particularly big region but is enough to prevent 3 keys registering touch input. Besides using something like swype, does anybody have suggestions to get this working?
Any hardware/software tricks that are likely to help with this?
If the phone isn't rooted and a factory reset does not fix it send it back to htc. Unless the problem is obviously the users fault.

[Q] Touchscreen issue

So I have the WI-FI version. Since last night the touchscreen has gone whacky. If I press anywhere on the screen one and a half centimeters from the bottom up, I get multiple touches registered, basically I got these zones, specific zones where this issue occurs, I have not found them all. On these zones, I don't even have to press, the touchscreen is super sensitive there that it detects me from rather high up before I even touch it. In any case, it renders the device unusable for me as I cannot type in portrait mode, and just barely in landscape.
Running stock ROM and rooted kernel with unlocked bootloader.
I basically want to find out if this is some permanent issue that cannot be fixed, or something that can be remedied.

Touch panel issue

Same issue here with me, I'm also having the touch problem while playing pubg and also while typing.
If I keep joystick on phone camera side then I face the touch problem, when I keep joystick on charging side then its work but cannot aim faster.
I also tried that *#2663# but still having the same problem.
And I don't received any update to fix this issue.

Vertical pinkish line from top to bottom

I have an S20 5g about 1 yr old but with little use and no visible damage. A vertica pinkish line down the exact center of the screen from top to bottom appered suddenly and is visible in all a screens, even if phone is off and charging. Is this a broken screen, another hardware problem, or is it caused by a software glitch. The phone works perfectly, including all apps.
Sounds like a failed display. The variable refresh rate displays are notorious for all manner of failures. It could be a mobo failure but more likely it's the display.
You can try clearing the system cache from the boot menu as well as a hard reboot.
If it happens in safe mode then it's almost certainly a hardware failure.
