Hey folks,
Does anyone know how to revert to stable from the One UI 3.0 beta? I tried what Samsung has listed in the disclaimer but Smart Switch doesn't offer a "Downgrade" options. Thanks!
Download the firmware and flash with odin. That should work.
You'll lose all data you have on your phone.

So I did that and was successful. However, now the system memory usage is 46.9GB (which is insane). Any suggestions on that? I've done a factory reset via recovery twice.

I never found a way to fix this. Flashed multiple times. Not gonna worry about it.

you need to use pit on pit tab then select repartition in settings in odin.. pit file just extract from the csc.tar file in your firmware

Can I flash just the pit file or do I need to start over?
Never mind, Google it. Can not flash pit by itself.
OK read somemore and figured out you can flash pit file alone. Extracted pit from csc and flashed through Odin and storage seams to be back to normal 24GB for system 104 for storage.
If on sprint or tmo use patched odin and flash BTHD use frija or samfirm to get proper firmware for your phone, and like someone stated earlier will lose all data will have to perform a factory data reset

hello.
usually when I have a few flash the phone I like to leave the factory, which I put the factory oxa with partition marked in 5 files odin with pit, bootloader, code, modem (LJ2) and csc.
I've never had trouble oxa install the factory and I have done more than 20 times since upgrading to M16 (4.3) I have been unable to do the operation because when I have uploaded files to download odin and phone wire as I give to start the SET PARTITION makes an instant and I FAIL throws.
windows thereupon losing throws me Connect message pc / phone.
I've tried with two different pcs and does the same, they know they can be happening? the fault of the new base? I must do to stop factory new phone?
thank you very much

thanks for your replies mates!!
I do not understand what is the difference of the files that I flash with factory oxa the samsung firmware.
I understand that the firmware in samfirmware there is only one file within a zip to put in pda only and oxa factory has 5 it is mentioned in the first post to leave the factory.
or you mean that first flash of a file and then the oxa factory?
thank you very much:laugh:

Try flashing this in the attachments using odin the same wayy you did the stock firmware, just extract the rar file and use the .md5, and then do a full factory reset then it should recognize.
forget KIES ( completely useless) ! flash SamMobile's firmwares with ODIN !

All this files are in one zip. Unzip and put this in appropriate windows in ODIN.
Here are Odin 3.12.3
Good Luck.
Of course, this will wipe my device again, even though I do not select the CSC?
If you allow it to flash a new system and user data image then yes.
You basically need a wipe anyways going from MM to Nougat.
Sent from my Galaxy Note5 using XDA Labs
I'm already on Nougat N920AUCU4EQC5. I'm just trying to avoid having to wipe my phone
When i use this. It passes Odin then when the phone tries to reboot and install the update it says deleting then im back to 6.0.1. Any idea why?

I'm not sure about security . It was a stock at note 5 until I tried updated to qb2. All dev factors are turned on, and the rar files are all unzipped and loaded through odin in download mode. It passes then the android update screen (the little robot ) says erasing upon revoot and I boot into mm again

OK. Try this , After you unzip from one zip to 4 files , unzip all 4 files to tar.md5 and try ODIN again. Check for any encryption installed on your phone preventing bootloader from overwriting files.

You have to necessarily erase the security lock fingerprints, you also have to remove the password lock, you have not any type of security lock, then you have to enable developer options and type USB debugging(This last one I do not know if it is strictly necessary, but just in case)If you have some security lock on your phone, even if you pray, you will not be able to!

Just a thought, can you Odin flash any other version of the official AT&T firmware? Maybe try another version to see if the phone is truly screwed.
Also, have you tried a factory reset on the phone first. Maybe something (anything) loaded on the phone is preventing the Odin flash. I know this shouldn't matter but it's worth a try.

Hello all, I seem to have a problem with my N7100. It does not boot to the OS. It is able to boot to ODIN Mode and CWM, although in CWM it reports that it cannot mount anything. And when I tried to flash the stock firmware using ODIN, it does not change anything even though it says PASS. Heck, even the recovery is still CWM. Any ideas how to solve this?

As with any software thing, things can go wrong and thus why @moozer said "should be okay." If he said "yes it will work" and all your porn vids or whatever you have got deleted, there is a chance that a noob could get very mad at someone. After I am done this rant, yes theoretically that should work.
Thanks, so flashing this will not re-encrypt /data?

Your personal data will remain if you flash "HOME"
CSC – personal data will be erased
CSC_HOME - personal data should be safe
I've done it several times with no issues, however, that is not to say that it is 100% perfect 100% of the time for 100% of users.
BEST ADVICE... ALWAYS BACKUP

all worked fine. thanks for heads up!
Yes HOME_CSC keeps all of the original data.
Well, I did it on one phone using home_csc - all data stayed intact, did on another phone - even though Odin reported flashing fine, phone crashed and I had to do factory reset - go figure! In both cases I used the same bin version of the firmware.

AP : CODE
CP: MODEM
BL: BOOTLOADER
CSC: CSC or CSC_HOME
USERDATA: USERDATA same for when you need to wipe the user data.
Note: the firmware you are trying to flash should have the same version than your current version on the device or higher, otherwise you may get an error in Odin

Really not sure. Best advice has already been given - to backup if unsure.
If you choose to attempt a downgrade, ensure beforehand that a full TWRP backup is taken in case things don't go the way you planned.
Otherwise, check the forums for downgrading firmware discussions.
Unfortunately I don't have this device any longer, so cannot accurately advise you to say "yes".
Hope that helps. Let us know how you get on.
