I replaced the broken display of my wife's HTC Desire 820s display recently. The phone has not been used in 5 years because of broken display. My wife forgot the unlock pattern. I tried to factory reset in recovery but the option is not available. I attached photos of recovery screen and bootloader screen. Debugging mode was not turned on before so I could not restsart to fastboot in command shell. I can not unlock the phone with google account because it is Android 4,4. Smart phone flash tool doesn't even recognise the phone. Is there any possibility of resetting the phone or unlocking it?
Thanks in advance

I just updated my HTC One X with full wipe to CM11, everything is well except unlocking my screen with a PIN after booting.
The issue has also been discussed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49288000&postcount=619
Entering the operator's PIN works OK, but trying to unlock the screen with my PIN fails because it is not possible to enter any numbers.
The only way to unlock the phone is to lock and unlock the screen again.
Screen after booting.

Screen after entering the operator's PIN. Please note that it is now not possible to enter any numbers.
Maybe some could post this in [ROM][official] HTC One X CyanogenMod 11.0 nightlies + M-releases or suggest help.
Thanks.
Hello everybody,
I've been lurking around here for quite some time now and just registered because I am not getting my phone running anymore.
I used the MIUI rom and wanted to put it back to factory settings.
Unfortunately it's stuck in a bootloop now, it keeps restarting after chosing the language and the country (China only option).
Whenever i want to flash TWRP or OrangeFox, I get the erros from the picture below.
It somehow crashes and I need to close the Powershell Window.
I tried several different USB Ports and USB cables.
Thank you!

Hello xda
I'm trying to root my Samsung Galaxy S8+ SM-G955U. I've never rooted a phone before and I seem to be running into trouble. I have download the correct version of Odin and what I believe to be the correct software, although I am a bit fuzzy on how to transfer everything over to my phone. I have developer options and USB debugging turned on. However OEM is not in my developer options and every time I try and connect my phone to my computer I get and error message. Ill attach a few screen shots for reference. I have the latest USB drivers. Can I fix this? Can I still root my S8+?
Thank You

Hi all,
I have an Samsung A50 phone(not rooted, all stock).
it rebooted by itself and now hangs on boot, with the samsung logo.
the firmware is original and is the latest. With so many attempts I manage to enter recovery mode.
I have already tried cleaning the cache.
I have not tried the hard reset instead(i don't want to lost data).
The phone is probably dead.
What chance do I have of recovering photos in the phone memory?
Is it possible via recovery / adb or by other solutions?

Hello, I have a huge problem. I recently purchased a Xiaomi Pad 5 256GB. I installed Windows 11 arm on it and decided to finally go back to having Android only
So I used Mi Flash to reinstall Android properly but by mistake, I locked the bootloader with MiFlash
The problem is that when the device restarts, it is impossible to access the Bootloader, no access to Android, my tablet restarts in a loop on Fastboot Mode
I already tried to use my Miu account for locked but it didn't work
