Hey guys, I'm a bit confused here, I have a P600 running stock TouchWiz 5.1, factory software no root or nothing on it, I managed to flash TWRP 3.4.0-0 through Odin, I did not install root on it (because I wanted to root with magisk after flashing Lineage 14.1) so I backed up my current ROM and then wiped the data, dalvik, cache and selected Lineage 14.1 + Gapps pico + magisk to install all together but the installation was interrupted by an Error-7 when flashing Lineage 14.1
Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?
Perhaps worth a try to use 3.3.1-0 instead of 3.4.0-0.
Had identical prob and with the first it worked.

It Worked, Thank you very much :good:
Hi,
I have the same problem, says This package supports P601XX#####, this device has bootloader P600XXUDOJ3. Updater process ended with Error 7.
I tried with 3.4.1-0 first and after that failed find myself here. After flashing TWRP 3.1.1-0 over it, I still get the same error..
Any ideas? :crying:
(This was rooted with CF-Auto-Root, before installing TWRP)

What's the files name you wanna flash?
Your bootloader is from 2016.
I recommend updating to the one from 2019.
Might do the trick.

Okay so i'm having some issues flashing this rom. While installing it tells me that the file im using' lte' is the wrong one for my device and that I should be using wifi. My tab is SMT705 .. i'm very confused, any ideas?
Update
Accidental reply.
You need to install the t700 version of twrp to install the wifi version of cm or remove the assert lines from the updater script.

How comes it won't let im install the lte version of cm when my tablet is lte enabled? Also, this is my first ever time flashing a rom so I don't know what the updater script it.
I tried installing the wifi version of cm, doing what the error said. The installation went a little further but got stuck at 'flashing the image conditionally'

It doesn't matter what your device is, you need to use the right recovery. If you have installed the t700 version of recovery then cm will think your device is a wifi version.
You have to wait at the flashing image conditionally message. Its not stuck, it takes a while for the rom to install, just be patient.

Ok, so as far as I'm aware, the TWRP recovery I'm using covers both t700 and t705. So would you suggest using a different recovery, or just flashing the wifi cm?
Thanks for your help btw

The question is, can we use ATO with TWRP installed?
Only custom roms have OTA available with TWRP installed.

Oxygen Os fails to install the OTA when detected root ot any changes to system patrition, thus you have to wait for the full zip and dirty flash over the existing. Fairly simple.
I can still do a nandroid backup and restore stock OxygenOS, correct?

You can clean flash. It is a full zip. I have restricted access to it now as I don't see anyone getting the OTA. So, it might be a mistake build. Lol.

No, you need to flash the stock recovery.img in fastboot first and then you can flash the zip in recovery/flash from local.

I (call me moron) am bricked (TWRP is installed) and looking for stock recovery also. Could someone post it, please? Otherwise I'm unable to flash a stock ROM. (TWRP does flash it, but after that it says "No OS installed".)
At least I have to wait for my new SIM cards for a few days anyway, so... never mind...

lol i guess everyone got excited and just installed TWRP off the bat, now that i have learned to pull .img files, its too late for me since i installed twrp instead of booting up, there has to be someone who had done it, i wonder why no is providing it, its a simple task.

How to install Magisk ???
If one of it's installation steps is to be fully unrooted first and the boot image should be stock.
I already rooted and modified the boot image as for this device we need to flash a file to the boot.img to stop the device from encrypting the internal storage to be able to mount it.
Please Help ...

By Odin flash TWRP, copy the Magisk file to the memory of the phone or to the SD card and Magisk flash by TPWR recovery.
When you restart, install the Magisk manager apk and that's it.

This is normal and it happened because you flashed the AP file only
If you want to get rid of these Russian providers menus and have stock settings menu you need to flash the full rom files (BL+AP+CP+CSC) via Odin.

No you shouldn't get a fail.
If you're encountering any issues in flashing via Odin make sure to use the latest version 3.12.3

im using 3.12.7 and i am already on nougat but i want to flash all the files instead of only AP
is it possbile that it fails because the model number i have a 320FL not the F but i flashed the AP of F on FL it worked but if i want to flash all files it gives fail?

Many people reported that the Russian firmware is working flawlessly on A320FL Model and no one mentioned any issues during the flash process.
For me, first time i flashed the rom the flash progress stopped near the end because i was using the 3.10.7 (not 3.12.7 as you mentioned) version just like you.
After using the 3.12.3 version it worked perfectly.
So you nead to use the latest version of Odin (3.12.3)
Whether this method can be applied in galaxy a7 2017 running in nougat?
So I made research but couldn’t find a clear answer. If I want to go back to OOS, can I just download the latest build from OnePlus site and flash it in TWRP and be all good? Or will my TWRP get replaced with stock recovery after flashing it?
Cuz I am now using paranoid android which is based on Nougat 7.1.2 but I want to give newest Oreo OOS a shot after a while.
And is it true that I don’t need anything else but the zip of an OOS? I am not planning to root or install magisk because I don’t feel like needing root nowdays.
Thanks for reading :fingers-crossed:
