I need help please - Samsung Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra Questions &

I have a sprint unlocked galaxy s20. It is activated under Verizon Wirless. Every 15 minutes I get a pop-up from Sprint Omadm activation. I have factory reset, force closed and it keeps doing it constantly. I cant disable this app in settings. Any ideas?
Also my gps and Bluetooth are not working properly. Is this because its a sprint phone on a vzw network?

Have you tried flashing the SM-G981U1 rom? That may fix your issues. Not sure why your GPS and Bluetooth arent working though. Back up your data and flash the rom and let me know.

Calling issues

Just wanted to see if anyone else has been experiencing this or maybe knows a way to fix this. I have 2 issues with the phone calling on this phone. I had the 925T since launch and never had an issue with it. ever since i sent it in for repair, I've had a strange issue. Fist one is dialing out. When attemting to make a call, it takes anywhere from 3 seconds to 40 seconds before the call actually gets connected. this is highly annoying as i dial a number and it feels like forever before the call actually connects. my other issue is after the phon ehas been one for a few hours, I dont get any incoming calls. the phone will not show me any incoming calls at all so I don't even know when someone calls me. Ive tried everything i can. tried changing sim cards, updated the bootloader and modem, tried different roms, kernels, stock odin, everything. and its the same story no matter what I do. Anyone Have an idea of what it could be? It only works well after a fresh reboot. calls works without issues. hours later, problem comes back
I've had the same exact problem but I attributed it to using an AT&T Sim card on an unlocked T Mobile phone.
I've now rooted and installed Xtrostolite Rom with latest modem and bootloader. I've yet to have any issues. Good luck.

I have this issue. It seems if i leave wifi off i do not ever have this issue. I live in a crappy coverage area so i have to have wifi on at home. I just reboot when i leave. I hate this phone....

You think the problem is WiFi related?
Yes. If i leave wifi off i never have the issue.
Still is happening. whether I have wifi on or off it always happens. It seem,s to be an issue related to VoLTE. When I turn LTE off, the issue dissapears. Updated baseband and bootloader to latest version and issue is still there. Have a custom rom and the issue is still there. go back to the tmobile rom and the issue is still there. thinkiing of going back to a tmobile firmware and turning off VoLTE in the firware then reflashing back to custom rom and seeing if that helps. if not, im selling the phone and getting the F version of the regular S6 and calling it a day. im done with carrier branded phones.
Interesting enough I haven't had this issue in the last 3 to 4 days. I wonder if it is AT&T related.
I have this issue. All the time. Unlocked from tmo, using straight talk at&t. This phone is the worst.
Anyone not on AT&T network having this issue?
I wonder if flashing the AT&T modem on TMO model will help.

Maybe you should get a phone from att.
If att service is better than tmobile then maybe there phone is better than tmobile's phone.

I've been able to switch between carriers on any phone that has the supported bands since the galaxy s2. The issue is with this phone. My mistake in buying it.

I have tried a few roms and a few kernels. I have tried differ apns but att Sim in this phone doesn't work like it should. I was going to get a TMOBILE note 5 to use on att but now I know it's not worth the risk.
@stu5797, yea man, I wish I had a solution. I'm happy it's not just me, but pretty bummed that there seems to be no answer other than it just doesn't work properly.
I've noticed the issue only happens during peak hours. Can anyone confirm?
I was having similar problems after the 5.1.1 update so after a few troubleshooting sessions with TMO, they sent me a new phone. 2 weeks now and no more problems. First phone that I have not rooted and flashed..... I was also told by a store rep that a lot of people were having issues since TMO is upgrading towers for 12 band.

So yeah same problem taking forever to connect a call and no receiving calls mos of the time. No ring no notification of missing call. I been doing some research and find a temporary fix. Try going to settings -mobile networks and switch from lte/wcdma/gsm to wcdma/gsm or gsm only. But before do a test. Turn off data and try to make a call see how fast it connects then have someone to call your phone. If it works then this trick will work for you. Of course you gotta sacrifices lte speed . Basically having 4g only but at least will fix your calls. These problems seem to ve related to volte i been trying to disable it but there is no such option under phone app setting. I just dont have it. (I cann show some screen shots) so if someone knows a secret code or app whatever to turn it off i will appreciate it. My phone is a t mobile galaxy s6 edge.

Hiya i have a sprint L710 on 4.4.2 oh1 and twrp was preinstalled when freedompop sent it to me. anyone happen to know a fix for this error or should I send the phone back?
Where are you getting this error? What are you trying to do? Gotta give some info.
Their phone service is voip so data needs to be on all the time unless you pay for premium calling. During the errors most of the time I'm not doing anything with the phone. (Other than having data on) It just happens when my phones signal switches from 4g to 3g. It does it while sitting still or when I'm driving around as it tries to switch back and forth. During the error it just sits at 1x (no data). Done a Prl and profile update, and a factory reset.

Network connection drops and squeeze for assistant stops working

Just checking to see if I am the only one having these issues.
I have the 3 XL on ATT, and I randomly have no internet access over mobile data, even though the notification shows LTE and decent signal strength. Screenshots attached to show what I'm talking about. This has happened about 4 or 5 times since I received the phone a few weeks ago. I went to ATT and got a brand new sim, thinking that my old sim may have been going bad, but that did nothing. Only way to get the mobile network connection working again is to reboot the phone.
I have also noticed a few times that the squeeze for google assistant feature will stop working, and I have to reboot the phone to get it working again. Anyone suggestions? I am leaning towards just doing a factory reset this weekend, but I would like to avoid that if possible.

dont know about the edge squeeze assisit not working (i use edge sense module and app) but i have to reboot or go into airplane mode to get data to work when i get the x. maybe using a different apn would help... im on att too
AT&T issues
This is now a problem for me. I have to put my phone in airplane and then back to lte at least once a day in order to get mobile data working again. I'm not really sure if it's a network issue or a phone issue.
Issue for me here too, but I'm in Australia on Telstra network.

Hotspot / Wifi Tether Stopped Working

I've had my OP7T for a few months, running stock + root. Everything has been working fine, but all of a sudden my hotspot stopped passing data to the head unit in my truck.
Factory reset on the head unit(android) didn't help. Factory reset on the phone, didn't resolve it. Tried every combination of APN settings to no avail.
I'm beginning to think it's a carrier problem (US, Straight Talk, AT&T).
Anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how to fix?

Question Unable to retain/regain signal without reboot/airplane mode toggle

I'm at my wit's end with this. I got this phone last year and it worked perfect until the stock Android 13 update. Then it wouldn't hold a signal to save its own life. I finally have wifi here so it's not as much of an issue, but when I leave my house I have to toggle airplane mode to get it to work again, or it's stuck on "emergency calling only" forever. I did recently put Lineage on it, thinking maybe that would help. The last couple updates it's a little better, it will sometimes get signal back on its own. However more often than not I have to toggle airplane mode or reboot to get service back. This happens all the time, a dozen or more times a day depending on how often I lose service. I did try to search the forums for an answer, but I kept getting errors back with the exception of one result with the same issue that said "tmobile only" under the fix.
I have:
Reset network settings
Reset APN
Manually selected a carrier and switched it back
Cleared cache through Android Settings
disabled/enabled mobile data
Toggled Mobile data always active
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Seriously considering going back to my LG G8 ThinQ and selling this thing, but I love the cameras on it. Side note: When I put the SIM in my old phone none of these problems exist.

Maybe contact Verizon support. They should be able to fix it or at least tell you what the problem is.

I tried that. I couldn't get anyone that was a technician on the phone and eventually after three days of not getting an answer they closed the ticket.

WOW, glad I am with TMO. Their support is the best I have ever worked with. To me they set the standard.
You said you reset the APN, but did you check to see if the APN is the same as on your other phone that doesn't have any issues with mobile service? Maybe check to see if they are the same, and if not put the APN in that works

Assuming you're unlocked and rooted since running Lineage, so add this module in Magisk, and maybe also enable mobile data always active in developer settings for now as well.

Exact same issue, unlocked LE2125, TMobile simcard. Didn't have issue on custom ROM, but this is happening on OOS13. Tried everything NSA SA 5g dev settings nothing worked. Living with trying to remember to toggle airplane mode periodically.
