I accidentally erased the whole device and it won't boot. I can boot into fastboot mode but that's it. The bootloader is LOCKED and I am just trying to find a way to get the device useable again. Maybe I can flash the firmware if someone has the exact device I am not sure. I can't figure out how to add a pic but fastboot shows....PRODUCT-NAME: bullhead
VARIANT: bullhead LGH790
HW VERSION: rev_1.0
Bootloader version is BHZ11H
BASEBAND VERSION: M8994F-2.6.36.2.20
SERIAL: AINT GONNA SHOW THAT LOL
SIGNING: productive
Device state is locked. Any help would be greatly appreciated ?
Download factory images from Google.
https://developers.google.com/android/images#bullhead
Click download link for 8.1.0 (OPM7.181205.001, Dec 2018) ; the last link for Nexus 5X bullhead
Extract the zip
Follow these instructions: https://developers.google.com/android/images#instructions
Since the factory images are officially signed by Google, they should flash even with the bootloader locked.
isn't there a way to unlock the bootloader with NRT?

So... I've flashed my baseband using the baseband software provided by this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1308849
And now I am stuck at the SonyEricsson loading...
I can't get intro fastboot "mode"
And it's safe to say that I am pretty much f*cked, the working help will get a surprise.
A steam key for Borderlands.
So here is what you need to know : I am from Sweden an my provider is Telenor.
The android version before I flashed the baseband was 2.3.3. Don't know the version of the baseband. My Windows won't allow the MTP driver to be installed, don't know why. And I'm booted with the requirement of driver-signatures disabled.
Please help me!

I do not believe you can flash factory images on a device with a locked bootloader. You must unlock the bootloader to flash factory images. If you are attempting to move from 8.0 to 8.1, I believe your best, and perhaps only, options would be to either take the OTA through the normal process from within Android when it is offered to you or you may also be able to sideload the OTA by following the directions on the Google page linked here: https://developers.google.com/android/ota. Good luck!

Thank for your response I upgrade for ADB the ota 8.1 thanks
because the factory images from google are properly signed you should be able to flash them with locked bootloader no problem.
lol nevermind, newer devices do require you to unlock bootloader to flash even factory images!?
https://developers.google.com/android/images
though official instructions tell you to re-lock after for security (don't do this if you installed root/supersu/magisk or anything else! lol)

Hi there ,
i unlocked the boot loader and installed twrp and rooted my pixel 3xl and every thing was fine
until i wanted to install the new update for Feb under this link https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/crosshatch-ota-pq2a.190205.001-4225fb81.zip
so i flashed the update over twrp and it gave me an error then i treid with flashify same thing .
when i couldn't install the new update i wanted to lock the boot loader again and i locked it by typing fastboot flashing lock
and of course the device did't boot up, so i unlocked the boot loader again and then entered to twrp and i wiped every thing 'including the operation system i think'
so now i can just lock and unlock the boot loader and i can't install the twrp again
when i try that this error pop up
fastboot boot twrp-3.2.3-3-crosshatch.img
Downloading 'boot.img' OKAY [ 1.493s]
booting FAILED (remote: 'Error calling AvbLoadAndVerifyBootImages Load Error')
Finished. Total time: 1.606s
i'm using the last version of the fastboot > platform-tools_r28.0.1-windows and 've an original cable i used it befor for the unlock the boot loader and installing the twrp
so now what please , how can i to install a new Rom for the my pixel , and there is no operation system i think cause i deleted every thing including the system throw twrp !

I would not keep locking/unlocking the bootloader unless you want to brick your phone.
If you can get to the bootloader, flash-all the latest factory image #4 'Keep data' in this guide: [Guide] Pixel 3 XL Android 9.0 (Pie) Unlock/Root/Install Images/Kernels/Recovery + by homeboy76
Then look at #11 in the guide.

- There is also no 'fastboot' nor 'adb' in your Platform-tools folder.
First, download the latest SDK Platform-tools r28.0.1 from here.
Then read #4 again, pay particular attention to #4B.

From your first post:
"when i couldn't install the new update i wanted to lock the boot loader again and i locked it by typing fastboot flashing lock and of course the device did't boot up"
You got lucky, you locked it and it bricked. When that happens and you are locked you can often end up on a situation where you can't unlock again.
So I said what I meant, stop locking your bootloader unless you are 100 percent stock and working perfectly.

Hello,
i would like to ask if someone on this forum can help with my bricked motorola g6. The bootloader is locked and i cannot access OEM unlock in the system. The only solution i would see is to use an full mmcblk0 image. It would be kind if someone could give another solution or provide an mmcblk0 image.
Greetings,
zOnlyKroks
still no progress as of yet
try booting with boot.img of the same version as installed in your phone. use fastboot getvar all to find out your phones version and then download rom and extract boot omg inside zip file and finally type fastboot boot boot.img
Then try OEM unlock. Is it gray? wait 7 days without shutting phone off ( you can turn screen off, but not entire phone). Didn't help? try updating to lastest version of your phone if not already up to date.
