Does anyone know if the Galaxy Tab S4 SPen nibs are replaceable?
(I know some Samsung stylii have replaceable nibs but I'm not sure about this one.)
If so, does anyone know where to buy compatible nibs?
Photo of the stylus I'm talking about:

The only markings it has are:
SAMSUNG RCIK7 - VIETNAM
In the box of the tablet include nibs replacement, have a qr code for purchase more.

That's good information, thanks. So they are definitely replaceable.
I don't have the box or QR code.
Could you share the link that it points to, or a picture of the QR code please?
Here are , but rhe qr code dont resolve anything 0171357158896435, you must hub the limbs in the box, you make sure don't have?. Include the limbs and extraction tool.View attachment 5078053

OK, thank you for the pointers and tips (no pun intended).
I went into the loft and found my box, and I did have spare nibs already!
I've taken some measurements for future reference or if anyone else needs nibs and has run out of spares:

I'm wondering if there is a fully compatible S-Pen for our P7500? If there is; could you recommend one, and share your experience with it?
Thanks in advance!
S-pen no
capacitive stylus yes
I have a styluys and it works but the tablet also detects your wrist on the screen and it doesn't work too well
There's something with Galaxy Note's screen also so you can't make use of the S Pen and that is why they are pushing Note 10.1 also....
The S-Pen uses a wacom digitizer for higher accuracy and to detect pressure. The hardware to use an s-pen is simply not there. So no there is not a comparable pen though like the others have said you could use a capacitive stylus.
I also searched 4 a while but the missing Hardware is the problem. i bought the normal Samsung stylus. it hasnt the precision of a d-pen but its okay..

Yeah hardware won't allow for that. But I just upped this thread you might find it helpful.

I just got a Jot Pro (http://adonit.net/product/jot-pro/) this morning. I'm loving it. It's accurate and looks nice too. You should look at it. It's $30, but hey, you know what they say, you get what you pay for. (It also has lifetime warranty, so thats good.)
any pen works on iPad works on tab
but no s-pen

Got the same for now quite a while, perfect pen for the tab! Give it a try!
yes there are some other s-pen works fine with galaxy note
some devices s-pen compatible with Galaxy note 10.1
HP tc1100
Note phone
Fujitsu tablet PC
Toshiba Portege m200
Lenovo W700 ..... pen works with no pressure sensitivity but the eraser works fine
Samsung Series Slate 7 ..... the pen works. Eraser also works great
HP TM2 notebook .... the pen works. Eraser also works great
I've recently discovered that the N7000 S-Pen isn't some magical new technology but in fact the same kind of inductive stylus that's offered with many older tablet PCs featuring Wacom digitizers.
I'm now using a Toshiba Portege stylus (cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170808932694) from eBay and I was previously using a HP TC1100 stylus (cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220871875156).
Apologies the above aren't links - I haven't made enough posts to include direct links yet so you'll have to copy/paste.
The advantage of the Toshiba one over both the HP one and the original S-pen is that it comes with an eraser tip at the other end which actually works as an eraser in the S-Memo app.
The button works just like the S-pen one so the usual screenshot/memo shortcuts work fine.
A word of warning though - I've also tested a Wacom Bamboo graphics tablet which did not work and don't confuse the TC1100 with the earlier TC1000 model which used a different battery-powered pen.
In short, if a tablet PC uses a Wacom digitizer and the pen does not require a battery then I think there's a very good chance the pen would also work with the N7000 Galaxy Note.
If you find any other good ones that work, it would be worth posting a reply on here so we can build a list of compatible ones.

I tried the Stylus from the Hp tc4400 (think its the same than urs) and from the Lenovo x??. Both worked great. I think every Wacom Display pencil will work.
I use the TC1100 pen, and it's fine.

Hi all,
I stumbled across this the other day;
http://m.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab-accessories/ET-S110EBEGXAR
The pic seems to be of the smaller n7000 version of the pen holder and seems unclear that it comes with both the holder and active stylus.
I would really like a larger pen. Does anyone have any additional info?

I have this one and would not recommend it. It is the original one they made when they first released the phone version of the Note. Although the pen makes a big difference to using the phones small S-pen, there is a button on the side of the holder that gets pressed unless you hold it a particular way and causes your writing flow to stop.
The way it works is that you place the small S-pen inside this holder which aligns itself with the button and then you just twist the holder into place. It does come with a spare S-pen, the one made for the original Note.
If you want a full sized pen, you should go for any Wacom pen enabled pens that also have the eraser on the end, the eraser works well with S-note and other apps that support the eraser function. It may also be a good idea to order different tips and depending on your preference, use the one that suits your usage patterns.
Do you have a link for one you recommend?

You can have a read through arjag's other thread to get recommendations, I have the one for the Lenovo x61t which works well however I have not yet tried other tips yet which I will do, the original ones,I tend to find are not as smooth as the one fitted on the new S-pen of the Note 10.1.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
I was really hoping that Samsung had actually released a pen holder kit that fitted and came with a n8000 replacement stylus.
As mentioned I my other thread, I am too disappointed in the performance of the Lenovo pen to use it.

If you (or anyone) is also using that Note 10.1 as a phone, this Samsung S-pen with bluetooth headset may be of interest to you :good:

Um, how would you write when you are on a call?
How about just using a BT headset as a BT headset and the pen as a pen?
This seems like a gimmick to me with few practical uses.
Hi,
I agree that the bt pen seems to be a gimmick too. After using a dual mic (dsp) headset there is no going back. I am very happy with my Plantronics Voyager Pro.
It really does seem there is no such thing as a "Galaxy Note 10.1" S Pen holder kit and Samsung are just trying to get rid of un sold ones.
I think this is a bit rude of Samsung!
Does anyone know where to get the propper replacement S Pen for the N80xx?
Edit: Scratch that, through samsung's site of course http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab-accessories/ETC-S1G2BEGXAR
Hi everybody.
I'm Beate from germany.
The stylus m-pen is a fine tool, I use it for handwriting apps. But last week it tumbled on the floor and the pin was broken.
Huawei told me that there are no spareparts available and I should buy a new one. What? Those gooks.
Any idea?
How to pimp the pin, how to create my own one? I'm a goldsmith, but which material should I use?
Compatible pens?
Any experiences?
Thanks, best regards, Beate
Hi,
active stylus pens are in fact quite costly. There are some compatible ones to be found on Amazon. All are around 35 EUR, and some even come with spare nibs as e.g. this one:

Sorry that I can't provide any better information.

Huawei M-pen
Hi Beate, I too have a M-Pen that is in need of a replacement nib. I actually wore mine out with use, drawing mostly. I have tried making a new one from Samsung's s-pen tips and ones from the Microsoft Surface stylus, both with no success. I believe these are made from a conductive plastic and or rubber. Huawei's M-pen appears to be made from glassfibre coated in something.
I now plead with anybody who might have any information about the material used for these nibs. I am a craftsman so I have the ability to make a new one from most materials, I just need to know WHAT material. Better still something I can buy that us compatible, Maybe made for a digitizer stylus?
Nibs
These nibs are fully compatible with M-Pen nibs: Wacom REPLACEMENT NIBS FOR CS-320, ACK21716 (for Bamboo Smart CS320AK). Unfortunately they are kind of hard to find...
Thank you
I have managed to find dome of the elusive nibs from a parts supplier (NAASMALLS) I tried most of the european Amazon sitres plus a few more worldwide sites to no avail. So i now have a pending delivery i shall update when this arrives
I'm looking to purchase a stylus for note taking, drawing, and photo editing. I want the best precision possible. What are you guys using?

I'm using the adonit jot pro pretty happily right now. It has great build quality, but is about $30. It does take a little getting used to versus an active stylus. I recommend it. Don't expect results like something with a wacom style screen such as the note devices.
Thanks, I'll check it out. I just don't want anything cheap.
Honestly if you want the best precision you need to buy else that has a Wacom digitizer layer built in. I personally cannot stand the clumsy precision and lack of pressure sensitivity on a non-stylus-enabled tablet. Tab S2 is a great tablet, but it's not meant for what you want to do.
True. Get a surface 3 or a note 10 2014 model. Really sucks this tablet lacks stylus support.

The Tab S2 doesn't lack "stylus support". It lacks "stylus hardware"!!! And most of us don't want to pay extra for that hardware. The difference a "Galaxy Note" and a "Galaxy Tab" has always been that the "Note" has the mesh screen behind the display that is necessary to detect the "electronic stylus". That makes the "Note" more expensive than the "Tab" and most of us don't want to pay that extra money.

Stylus support can mean software or hardware.
The Note 10.1 2014 and Galaxy tab A cost less than the tab s2.

Sorry, but the tone of your reply (it's a shame), implied that it would be easy for Samsung to include the "support". But because the S2 lacks the necessary "hardware", that is untrue.
And, yes, the Note 2014 cost less than an S2. I know because I sold mine in order to buy my first S2. I very seldom used the stylus and wasn't sorry to lose its functions. But the S2 runs circles around the previous gen Note 2014. That's why it cost more.
Also, the much rumored Note 2015 never came out, because, IMO, there simply wasn't enough demand for stylus to warrant it.

My tone? Lol. I never implied anything. I said it sucks Samsung didn't include stylus support. If you rarely use a stylus then there would be no need to purchase a note like you did.
In an early reply, you mentioned the note cost more than the tab. The specs are not that far away from each other for a 2 year old tablet.

Comparing the price of a current generation tablet with one two years old just isn't fair. If you compare the price of a same generation tab and note, the note ALWAYS cost more. And, as I stated, the "shame" wording implied it whether you intended it to or not.
I think there is a stylus version (S Pen) in Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016, different from standard Tab A of course (not sure if it's available in all markets). It's much worse tablet in other specifications (screen resolution, SoC, RAM, ...)than Tab S2 but if you need an inexpensive pen tablet...
There are some Asus Zenpad with stylus hardware if you need more options.
I don't need stylus hardware. I use ultra cheap BIC Cristal Stylus (less than 2 euro) that of course can't be compared to Samsung S-pen!.

With a stylus you'd definitely need a screen protector, aye?
Tried the Adonit Mark and it didn't work half the time. Cosmonaut is now my favorite stylus.
I am interested in the Asus Tablet with the Z Stylus, but I am not sure about the quality. Does the preasure sensibility works well?
I've been searching unstopable for a week and still have no idea of what I'll buy
(It's for drawing, and the quality of the pen is very important for me)

Now you can get a TAB S4 or Tab S6 Both come with S-Pens. Isn't progress wonderful. Now just get some deep pockets for that TAB S6.
