1. It would be great to know what exactly you have done to brick your device.
2. Try to use a fastboot rom from Mauro
3. If that doesn't work, I guess you will need to use MSM.

Are you sure you have a 7t? There's no LED on the phone besides the main flash by the camera, so when you mention a green light under the camera it makes me think you don't have a 7t.

It's an op 7T and the screen was completely grey besides the few green flashing pixels right under the front cam so it's not an led it was pixels on the screen. I fixed it btw.

Hi,
i have updated the latest clockworkmod version (5.0.2.7) to fix charging off bug (orange led freeze).
However, the LED never turns green if I charge the phone off.
Any solutions? Is there a recovery version that fix thi issue?
Thanks a lot!
No, the LED colour is bugged (As far as I know. I don't normally turn my phone off) but atleast the phone boots, which wasn't the case before.

Sorry for the question... Are you sure that with this recovery, GREEN led appears during charging OFF mode?
Hi i have flash my phone with a miui firmware and everything was ok.
i have update the firmware for error and phone power off. the bootloader was open and i have a custom recovery.
now i cant go in recovery and flashmode and flashtool doesnt see it, when i press power and volume + the phone vibrate for 3-4 times and appears a light blue led and then it power off..
i connected the phone to the pc and i press volume+ and blue led appear, is it fast mode?
how can i do?
the users of this forum are the best
Sorry for my bad english
thanks :_(
That sounds like what happened to me recently. Basically, there are two modes the phone can go in when it's booting up and the USB is connected. One is fastboot mode, where you view the blue LED, which is what you are seeing. The other one, attained by pressing the other volume key, will get you into flash mode with a green LED and will allow you to use the flashtool to re-flash a stock firmware. I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's only if your bootloader is unlocked, but you should be able to try anyway.

If there is activity in the flashtool when you connect then it doesn't matter about the led being lit.

Put it on charge for an hour and try again, and don't let go of the volume button until it starts flashing.

thanks, that helped me to get my soft brick working again!
I tried to flash the new firmware necessary to flash the 5.0 GPE rom but found that my phone had no OS after that. So I tried to flash PhilZ recovery so that I could load a ROM but after I completed that, the M8 is basically dead. The screen won't turn on and the notification light is red. No matter what buttons I press, power+volup, voldown or both, the red light just turns off for a second and then turns on again. The screen won't turn on at all. It's not a battery issue as I had close to 80%. I'm sure I've bricked it somehow but is there a way to fix it? Please help.

If you answer these, we can try to help you further :good:
charge it for 15mints and see the noti light turns on or not and if the pc doesn't recognize after installing drivers then its hard bricked , what did u did with the phone?
I don't know what the issue was but I kept repeating vol up+power reboots until it turned on. Was able to flash the ROM through adb sideload.
Currently helping my friend on his xperia z5 premium and i was wondering how do you fix the problem of a black screen? When i turn it on, go to recovery , or hard reset. i can hear and feel it booted like normal but screen is black and blank. Also LED lights are fine.
you mean it goes to recovery but not going to Android?
this means screen is okay, it boots to recovery!
correct?

It sounds i can boot to android and recovery the problem i have is currently have a black screen regardless when i go boot mode or recovery mode. Also not sure if the problem based on the screen itself or the software wise.

please visit your SONY WORKSHOP, and let them check!
1. install XperiaCompanion http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software Downloads/Xperia Companion/XperiaCompanion.exe
2. shutdown your phone (volume up and power)
3. connect with usb to your pc with pressed volume down !!!
4. or if you have no chance check this http://repair.sonymobile.com/fr/#/
5. check thank's
There are two possibilities. First of all, there are problems with the system. You can reinstall the system to see if the phone is back to normal. Second: If there is a problem with the hardware, it is likely that the LCD is damaged. You can buy a new LCD for replacement. Wish you to fix your own mobile phone as soon as possible!
