On the first boot after you flash the stock rom, is it taking more than 10-15 mins to boot?
Sometimes it takes a long time to boot after switching roms

Hey, I have an issue with my tablet after I wanted to go back to kitkat from the L Preview.
I had 4.4.4 and decided I'd like to try out the L preview
So I downloaded the img from Google and flashed it via fastboot, worked perfectly fine but not as stable in apps as it was on kk.
So, I downloaded the latest factory image from the Google Developer Site, extracted it and ran the flash_all.bat
Seemed to flash ok, no errors, rebooted and started to boot but it only goes as far as the spinning boot logo. No further.
After leaving it a good hour or so I decided it clearly wasn't going to boot I went back into the bootloader and tried to get into stock recovery mode but after rebooting it just stays at the white Google logo..
So, I tried to flash TWRP via fastboot. Again no errors, successful flashed but just like before it sticks at the Google logo and never boots the recovery..
I even tried the "fastboot boot recovery.img" but then it just freezes on the bootloader.
I've also tried the 4.4.3 img.. same happens.
Now if I reflash the L Preview img via fastboot it sticks at the Google logo and didn't even reach the boot logo!
Sounds to me like the partitions have gotten corrupt? Though the imgs are flashing successfully without error so I don't think it's that..
But.. recovery partition is broken as I can't get into recovery at all, and it freezes if I try.
Anyone any idea what could have happened?
All I did was flash the KK factory image over L, just like I flashed L over KK and it worked fine.
All the guides online do the same thing to downgrade L to KK.
Is it bricked? Can it be recovered?
I still have bootloader access with fastboot..
Any help is greatly appreciated!
I finally managed to enter the stock recovery and it appears that the /cache partition was damaged or corrupt. Strangely it would get corrupted each time I flashed the factory image, even flashing the cache.img directly..
However it seems to have fixed by doing a factory reset and /cache then formats correctly and android booted fine after this :victory::laugh:
As you see in the image, when entering recovery I was presented with a bunch of errors regarding the cache.
Tried to wipe cache but that fails.
Did a factory reset and cache seemed to format fine.
Did another wipe cache and this time it completes without the error I got before.
Then rebooted, Android began booting and thankfully it's now working fine again!
Hi, i have an I9195 and a huge problem.
Until recharge in the night, the phone shutdown for any reason.
I had flashed Cynagenmod 12.1 on it, so i have CWM Recovery. After it doesnt started and hang in the startscreen of Cynagenmod(the blue Alien or whatever it is ), i entered Rcovery mode and tried to wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache. Nothing happened and when i started Recovery i also got and Error:
Can't mount /cache/recovery..
I tried to format the cache and wipe it, but anything helps.
So i decided to go back to stock. i downloaded the stock rom and flashed it threw odin. But when i entered Recovery, the CWM Recovery is still there. This shouldn't, because the stock rom flashes his own recovery, didn't she? But well, i tried to start the Phone but hang in a bootloop. I only see the Samsung logo, then it restarts after a while. I think because i couldnt wipe the cache.
But well, so i thought about to flash TWRP Recovery. But well, get trolled by odin and my phone again, still enters the CWM recovery. When i flashed threw odin, no error occured and all flashes ended with success.
What can i do now?
Hi guys,
I was running DarkWolf rom and I decided to go back to my factory stock rom (N900TUVUFOL1_N900TTMBFOL1_N900TUVUFOL1_HOME.tar.md5). Did that with Odin and it passed successfully. Now it started to reboot, but is stuck on the white screen that says T-Mobile. I reflashed the stock rom again using Odin and it passed again but upon reboot I am stuck at the same place. Am I freaking out because the first boot up is suppose to be longer than 40 minutes or is there a problem? Can someone please help me out.

That tends to happen some when flashing a stock ROM for some reason. If the initial boot hangs after flashing stock with Odin, most of the time you can fix the issue by booting to recovery and performing a Wipe data/Factory reset and Wipe cache partition.
wow i just coming from there I forget for like 10 minutes me factory reset lol just boot into recovery and make factory reset, thats the first thing we must do factory reset, my cell is working fine + root and custom recovery ( TWRP) and still working perfectly fine, however I can send tar for u just in case

If you don't have a backup, maybe you can wipe and side load a ROM via ADB.
The thing that worked for me is flashing the 1450 stock rom, then flashing the custom rom again
Probably encryption fault, you will have to wipe and reinstall your ROM.
Same thing happened to my robin as I got an update to Lineage OS for Oct 23, and the phone was supposed to boot into recovery and flash the rom but nothing happened. I tried to look for the update rom inside the phone but couldn't find it. I then rebooted the system and it booted right back into TWRP recovery. I even wiped the whole phone and reflashed the rom again and still no dice, I even tried that stock flashable rom and nothing worked.
I need help im stuck in TWRP, my device doesn´t boot.
