It is working and working great too. I really like this rom, it's smooth, fast and light weight. All the great features in all the right places plus no bloat. Camera is great too, all sensors working. No bugs to mention so far, I will be staying with this one. Good work! I hope you support in the future.
fm radio still error?
What about wide and macro lens? Extended display ?
Unfortunately, the phone hangs when you exit / enter the WiFi range when the phone is in your pocket. Only hard restart helps.

Several times today - almost everytime I leave office the phone hangs...

Yes, It has In-Pocket issue it hangs when in pocket and only hard reset works...

Just returned from short walk with dogs (~2 km). I had Mi Band connected - the phone in the pocket hanged two times during this short trip.
So, I just making backup and returning to other ROM.
i disabled all the apps/services that i don't need , the phone worx really good , i didn't face any hang or problem until now
exept for "root browser" (from rom toolbox pro)
when i try to install an apk file it crash , i try with MixPlorer it ask me for pemission (this happen in most the roms i tested)
is there any way to give root browser permission to install apk ???
(Gapps are not installed)
Didn't face hanging till now. Camera did crash few times when AI enabled. Works pretty well.
Please add Extended display and clear all apps in recents.

Try using magisk for root it'll solve your issue
Something is wrong with wifi support. I went out of range, when I came back the phone can't connect to wifi, there is a message "getting ip address". I had to turn off the wifi completely and turn it on again. This disqualifies this rom for me unfortunately ...
H/W keys customization is also missing.

it is a permission thing i think
mixplorer : clic on apk --> ask permission --> install no problem
root browser : clic on apk --> crash (don't even ask for permission)
is there a way to enable install from unknown source for all like old android ?
like editing BuildProp or something ?
(i didn't face this problem when i was on miui)

i already did this before for bootleggers but i did not know work with aosp. thanks! by the way if you add turkish language for rom settings+double click lockscreen and other bugs if dissolved i would be glad. Come easy Sakil.
Looks good and feels better than the Oreo version.
Just some missing parts which I guess you will add later like Auto Brightness toggle, AppOps, etc.
Reboot problem just like the Oreo version, reboot or reboot to recovery results in shut down instead.

thank you for your grate ROM its real good the one and only problem i found is double tap not working (even double tap for turn off display) and i realy need it because my device turn on and off button have problem and i can not use your great platform without double tap

so i found this video on YouTube "How to Enable Double Tap Screen Wake up on any Android Device" which this guy use an app name kernel auditor to make a mobile turn on double tap on the phone (his phone has built in option of 2tap) and i tried and one big problem is root access which i dont have and tried magisk and supersu .in recovery mode in middle of installing this two program phone shutdowns so maybe after root this two basic option of zenfone (double tap and otg) works anybody can help root the phone

Anyone had success in downloading this from Google Drive?. All it says for me is downloading with no indication of progress for 45 minutes and then a unsuccessful message. Source forge doesn't show the 12/21 build.

I don't use gapps and there's no messaging app pre-installed. I'd suggest OP to include a messaging app and an email client. By the way, great work, so many features, there are some conflicting settings combination which I think are going to be fixed eventually. :good:

Maybe you removed some essential app by mistake. Try any system uninstall app from playstore. I used System App Remover and removed 7 to 8 non essential apps. My ROM is working fine.

There's a setting where you can show the network icon. About the APN, you have to put the info manually.

Update: So ya, if you use the APN on AOSiP, just copy all that's in your APN so that way you can get H+/4G data going.
Other findings---> Hmmm... Also Substratum App crashes when applying a theme, Rom forced me back to Recovery. Flashed rescue zip and everything is ok. Just a heads up to avoid crash, do not enable theme: "Settings" and "Settings Suggestion.
Other Update: Even without tweaking CPU, the phone runs so much better than AOSiP by performance and battery life.
I think the main problem is that no APN is being set or displayed.
I had to go back to the Xiaomi EU Rom. I will wait till this problem gets fixed.

Yes, APNs have not automatically set for me in any ROM except the Xiaomi ones. I usually manually enter the APNs.
Finger print did not work for me. Did it work for anyone else? My hardware is 6GB/128GB.
Well that sucks. How do you suppose to use another SIM if you in another country and don't know the APN.

any ideas?
also, is there a way to install mi max stock camera as well, i found it way better for panorama photos?!

Although there's no icon to indicate traffic in data, you can manually turn in "show net activity in statisbar".

Please tell me what's working and what's not working in the rom
Anyone has problem with Bluetooth? I tried factory reset, and network reset, but none of these helped. Bluetooth turned on, the bluetooth trying to work, then turn off after cca 20 seconds. Sometimes an error like the "application crashed unexpectedly" visible for 1s and that's all... I've this issue with an another rom too, but, there's 2 other Android 11 based rom where the Bluetooth works well... (No dirty flash, Qfil to ZUI_1.9.044 then Qfil to ZUI_4.0.199, then bootloader unlock, then from twrp-3.5.1_9-0 file system change from ext4 to f2fs then flash with OpenGapps nano (mentioned on a previous post, doesn't work even if I use FlameGapps 03.27 beta).

I think this is the best 11 rom for Z2
I've noticed that with opengapps it will give an error after update. Use nickgapps it's working fine
I have installed it in the zuk z2 pro and it works very well I will also try it in the zuk z2 plus

Hi, I forgot how fast this rom was. The phone now feels like another, much faster, responsive one. I have only one problem, the biometric authentication does not work with the banking apps and the posteid application. Is there any solution? Thanks so much!

Hello, I just switched from 6.7 to 8.0
Clean flash, I followed the instructions to the letter.
There was a major problem with the dialer (I couldn't hang up a call) but I solved by clearing the application's data.
I changed the launcher from the default one to Lawnchair2 which allows me to customize my home page a lot better.
I can't change the system font! I tried through "Settings -> Extensions -> System -> Customisation -> Headline/Body Font" but it only changes the appearance of the system menus. The font inside the apps (WhatsApp, Facebook, to name two) stays the same.
- The "Buttons" extensions does not support swipe anymore, that's a shame since the "smart" home button was one of the Z2's perks
