I personally would not use it on a Google device that is currently receiving regular monthly updates, but LOS sure is great on older legacy devices that are no longer supported like my Nexus 7 and Nexus 9 tablets. I also note P2XL is not officially supported so you have to take that into consideration as well. On supported devices you usually get updates once a week and they include security updates.

Google is no longer releasing monthly updates for Oreo. Since Pie is trash in my P2XL, I don't get any more monthly updates. I do hope lineage will support P2XL.
I've been using pixel experience for a couple of months but i think lineage os is a little snappier so i decided to switch back but I can't find the official build for it anymore, the device is nowhere to be found in the supported device list. Is this the end?!!
Yes. Maybe they will move to redmi note 7/7 pro.
They sure dropped this phone fast, its not even a year old. And besides the RN4 is still supported but not the 5? WTF
And theres still no global RN7 version either so why the rush.
One reason could be that many developers of this phone got an upgrade to flagship level phones like Pocophone F1. I'm assuming the official Lineage OS developer was one of them, which may have affected the update intervals and features with time. Maybe that's why the Lineage OS team chose not to keep this phone on their list. (Unless if a developer invests their skills and time on this).
Also, Lineage OS also didn't stand out that much in this device's forum because of Custom ROMs like Pixel Experience, HAVOC, AOSIP, and OEM ROMs like Oxygen OS and Samsung Experience. These developers have contributed so much that Lineage OS was not really needed that much. (Please Thank these developers on the forums and donate, if you can. They really have worked hard on this)
I could be wrong but it must be related to either of these things.
???
Does anyone has the last official build? is not on the official page anymore
Hi,
I have Pixel Experience in my Nexus 5X and I love it, especially the "now playing" feature. I think it's incredibly cool.
Unfortunately, it looks like Pixel Experience for OP5T is being abandoned by its current developer. I know that it can be picked up by other dev, but this uncertainty does not give me a good vibe for the future of this rom.
So, I wanted to know if there's any other ROM for the 5T that has that feature, so I could test it.
Thanks!
Resurrection Remix has it under Lockscreen and Security and then Lock Screen preferences
hello I have a request, what is the best rom for pixel 6 pro which has no google services but has all the unique features of pixel from the original rom ? Best regards

Can't have all unique features from a Pixel without any Google Services.
Or maybe microG is enough ?

No. All the Pixel features are tied to the proprietary versions of Gapps, not even MicroG will achieve what you're looking for, it's worth have no Pixel features yet no Gapps at the same time, or Pixel features, but have most of the Gapps, there's no other combination of those 2 is possible.
What features will I lose by installing a custom rom?
Pretty much everything that makes a Pixel a Pixel. Even roms that try to preserve features feel kind of half-assed or have security-minded priorities that prevent Google functions altogether.
Stick with stock.

Not everything. The key features that make a pixel a pixel are;
- unlocked bootloader,
- upstream (AOSP) support.

Where do people come up with these stupid names?
ask the developper of the rom.
ScorpionRom not available on Pixel 6 pro so it should not be listed in the subject line
Actually I know of a Feb build of Scorpion Rom that exists for P6P. If you're in the right TG groups you'll trip over many things. I'm not sure if it's official or not. It's been a minute since I saw the link
ProtonAOSP and Kirisakura Kernal are the fastest I've ever felt a phone no joke.
Even with a bunch of magisk modules AND Xposed modules, usually any android phone I've customized to this points starts at least micro jittering.

Which is better pixel experience or lineage 19.1 ??
Want a little help with that
Ive used pixel experience and lineage and for stability it will always be lineage, it's truly amazing, especially when paired with nova launcher, can get it pretty much exactly the same as a genuine pixel and it works just as well.currently using 19.1 and have been for months now
