Hello!
what's your internal memory speed? I've a problem with camera app (Gcam 7.3) - when taking video i must wait about 30-60min to see it in Google Photos app ;/ that's very annoying.
Can you try format memory partitions wipe with f2fs ?

Hi,
make a copy of your private data from the internal storage and then boot into recovery. Goto wipe and select format data.
After them make a fresh installation of LP ROM.

There is a diffrent between wipe data and format data. I had the same issue and it was only gone by format data.

I'll try, but I'm pretty sure that's what I'm doing. I know I said wipe before.
Thanks though. :good:

I'm not OP but I had the same problem and this fixed it! Thank you!
Advanced Wipe in Recovery provide a list of partitions (e.g. Dalvik, System, Data, Internal Storage, etc.) to wipe.
Can any expert let us know what is the different between wipe out partition Data vs Internal Storage??
Which folders will be gone if wipe out Data partition compare Internal Storage??
Thanks in advanced.
wiping out data will wipe all the apps and their data which is installed in your tom where as wiping Internal storage will wipe all photos, music etc that is saved in your phone's memory

f2fs is for good benchmarks in real life ext4 >> f2fs
and when you change the FS the data will be lost .
f2fs makes twrp very slow as well .
I was using f2fs for a month and reverted it back .
Didnt like it
Its very easy brother although formatting data to f2fs will erase everything like your download's/pictures, so the steps.
BACK UP YOUR SD CARD FOLDER.
1 - Reboot to twrp
2 - select wipe and then select advanced wipe/change filesystem.
3 - select data
4 - select change filesystem or format ( forgot which word it actually says )
5 - select f2fs and swipe to confirm flash
6 - reboot and restore data folder
People will say its not worth it but if you write to your data a lot and install apps you notice faster install times over EXT4

Mate, format data erase ALL.
You only have a empty TWRP directory in internal memory. It's healty for the phone, but if you like to keep data...

There's no major difference you will see in changing the filesystem to F2FS. I am using F2FS on Data Partition on Sultan CM & there is no major difference in real life.

I want to give it a try, if I don't see any noticeable difference I could come back to ext4

There are a few partitions on your phone, just like a hard drive. Think of your /system partition as your C: drive. Your /data partition would then be D: Your apps, the data for the apps, your dalvik/art cache, and your "Internal storage" are all on /data.
Changing your file system is literally formatting the drive, which initializes a new file system. For Windows, it's NTFS, for Linux it's normally ext4. You are basically going to format D:
Got it? Your Rom is on C:, data and apps on D:

About F2FS some users sad that it's better on gaming. And benchmarks (this it's useless).
Other than that recovery open slowly comparing with ext4.
Le
You will see that youre internal memory it's smaller on F2FS.

Ok, now things are clear!
I have a OnePlus 3. It's currently running VertexOS, but I've been having this problem for a while and just barely put 2 and 2 together.
I only have about 10GB free after a complete wipe of the phone. I used TWRP and wiped everything off the phone. Full factory reset and internal storage and all that. It should have been a blank slate except for the OS I transferred afterwards.
I boot up after installing my GAPPS and the Rom and I still have barely any space left. I'm generally pretty Android savvy, but this has me at a loss. Screenshots below. I am rooted.

edit: ADB Pull of / only pulls 2.32GB of data.

Have you tried another app? Perhaps this is just a bug.
Check out an app called DiskUsage. I found I didn't have much space and it showed there was folders called OEM logs that were taking up 15GB or so. May not be what is happening to you but that app is great to see what's using storage.
I do not believe this is a bug. I only know that I'm low on space because I ran out so fast.
Are you on f2fs or ext4? Are you encrypted or unencrypted?

Sometimes messing with encryption and filesystems caused me to experience a similar issue. What I'd suggest is, if you can, wipe everything in TWRP, change /data filesystem to ext4 (the dev of VertexOS encourages it), and do a clean flash of VertexOS once again. I think you should be good to go in that case. Make sure to take a backup beforehand though (if you have anything to backup).

This solved my problem. I must have have changed the filesystem without thinking about it at some point and forgotten all about it.
Thanks man.
hello guys ,sorry for my english...i can't do a full backup to my miui rom with twrp , i get the message : " "Can not create '/data/media/0/TWRP' folder (Required key not available)." .see the attached picture ...any help please ?
Format data, then it'll work, or at least that worked for me. Just back your sdcard up through USB first.

is there any other solutions other than format data? i don't want to start from the beginning, reinstalling apps and mods
Hello, for those who face the same problem, for my case, just disable the screen password before making the backup
Nice find. That didn't work for me at the time but I've read it might've been the recovery I was using. Glad you got it going.
sorry for answer late
its happend to me the storage is encripted u must wipe internal storage from wipe->advanced wipe -> internal storage only and swipe to wipe it

What do you mean? That their TWRP version is too old and doesn't support encrypted storage? It says "required key not available" so it mean it's recent enough to know about encryption so it's not sure that it's the issue.
