Hey guys,
I rooted my device a couple of days back. Since then I've noticed that there is quite noticible delay in face unlock and fingerprint unlock.
Before rooting the device use to face unlock instantaneously without showing the lockscreen. But now it's takes about a second to unlock after the screen is turned on.
Same is with fingerprint scanner, take more than a second to unlock. Any one in similar situation?

I recently moved from a Hero to the Desire, its an absolutely awesome phone because of the speed!
My biggest annoyance is that my phone continuously turns on in my pocket, I do have a lock pattern set but I took my phone out the other night to find that the lock pattern had been attempted 5 times.
I'm not quite sure how I am managing to unlock it, has anyone had any similar occurrences?
Once we get root, I guess we may be able to have trackpad wake too.
If I try to use alternative home replacement (Nova, Smart Launcher or Apex), after a couple of days my smart cover start to act wierd. No correct lock, unlock with screen off, screen turns on after few seconds and, I have to reboot to have the situation normal.
No issues with google launcher.
UPDATE:
The issues is smart cover related. The smart cover stops to lock correctly the phone and, the phone itself doesn't unlock correctly.
For example, the fingerprint seems to unlock the phone but the screen remains off.
Hey people,
I have a rooted XZ2C with Oreo. On that device, when screen is off, you can wake it up (putting once your finger on fingerprint sensor).
Do you know a way to disable this function?
Without disabling the unlock fingerprint (when you apply your finger, once screen woken up, to unlock your divine?)
Thanks for help!

Anybody experiencing the issue whereby face unlock does not work occasionally when a new notification arrives?
The screen is set to wake upon notification arrival, with notification only showing when my face is detected.
Only once the screen is off and on again, will the face unlock works again.
I've had my phone for over a year now. Never had issues with anything.
Recently when I tried to unlock the screen with my finger it didn't recognise it. It was vibrating but saying that fingerprint is not recognised. I thought the screen is dirty so I wiped it - didn't work. Then I thought I have cuts on my finger so I tried to add new fingers but it doesn't work... Fingerprint sensor lights up but it's not vibrating and not scanning my finger.
I've tried resetting my phone and still couldn't register fingerprint. I've reset it again and it worked! But only for 2 days... Now again the fingerprint sensor doesn't work.
I'm on LE2123_11_F.75
Has anyone experienced something similar? Just wondering whether it is software or hardware issue?
Depending on where you bought your phone, it usually comes with a warranty 2 or 3 years.
