I messed my EFS partition up, and falsely assumption that a backup is stored in a safe place ( which is NOT ), leave me with a WIFI MAC ADDRESS set to 02:00:00:00 alone .
Could someone share with me his/her EFS partition or at least the .qcn File?

In past I was playing with Redmi Note 5 Pro qcn file. Google it for a tutorial.
In qcn file using hex editor you can change your IMEI, MAC Address, BT Address even without root.
All is written in hex codes. Use some online calculator to get hex code of your IMEI and change address in qcn. Then simply write back to phone.
Can anyone help me with qcn backup for ginkgo? I got patched qcn online but it could fix sim2 imei only.

As much as I know for baseband you might need to restore your modems partitions.

i do it, but after erase moemst1 and modemst2 , baseband fixed but for once time and after restart then baseband gone again!

my device p8000 ver B (us version) mistake flashed version A stock rom, before unknown baseband and IMEI NO. i using sp flash format and flash again version A stock rom( because don't have version B stock rom yet), after i got baseband version and IMEI no. i made,
but right now bandmode checked just like version A , can't check us channel ,, enable to check us channel ,
i think i need version B stock rom or twrp backup file

using twrp and cwm wipe date after install verB. zip successful reboot show up ELE logo, after auto reboot show up ELE logo again , but auto reboot back to recovery (twrp and cwm)

i think that's only thing different, because i flashed version A stock rom only no baseband, and other using nothing problem,, version B stock build was in jan 2016

So I tested the Nexus rom, and when I first installed it and then flashed the US zip, it worked I have 4G LTE. Now when I flashed the storageswap addon it changed to edge ever since. Downloading to stock original and your zip.

ok thanks well the storage swap has no affect to the signal and mobile data... that are two very different things..
can you also test my eragon rom with it.. please just flash my rom and then the zip . please report back. i will read it in a few hours..
if that all works . then i will update my rom for US bands too

try flash Eragon rom, i tested Eragon rom using twrp wipe all install zip after in os don't have baseband (show unknown), after using twrp flash Ver.B baseband still don't have baseband(show unknown)
So I tried going back to the original rom, now its saying invalid IMEI number

valid imei number easy to fix just download mtk shortcut in play store and go inengineer mode and connectivity>>>cds information>>radio information>>phone 1 >>> AT+ E "INPUT YOUR IMEI NO" >>>after you need space AT( space) +
or you can search youtube mtk change imei no.
but make sure you have show up baseband version first, if show up unknown this valid,

I live in America and have an Elephone P8000 Version A. I currently only have 2G from my carrier as the 3G and 4G bands I need are greyed out. If I flash this Version B ROM, will it unlock the basebands I need?

thanks a lot for your help and thanks for the fast reply. I flashed the stock via flashtool and only 1 band changed in 2G (changed from DSC1800 to PCS1900). UMTS and LTE bands stayed the same. Any idea what i'm doing wrong?

It should work.
Maybe its a provider issue atm. .
Did you changed it to LTE in settings/more ?
Did you performed a fullwipe?
@Dvalin21 . you have 4g etc.. Did it work for you right out of the box?

At point three, it says install Magisk.
This means installing the APP itself.
Hope this helps
And yes, you would need to unlock the bootloader, doing this will delete EVERYTHING, so backup before doing so

I dont think the Snapdragon variant can be bootloader unlocked....

my phone also lost imei, so my nvram was rebuilt from engineering rom.
I restored sim2 imei with Maui meta. Sim1 can not be restored with that method, sadly.
There are lots of tutorials online for fixing sim2.
