Starting with a Fold F900F i have one doubt
Coming from a Note 10+ (with same camera, isn't it) i don't find single take mode in Camera app.
I have tried to clear cache and data but this mode is missing
It should come with Android 10, One UI 2.1 right?

I'm not a really a fan of shooting but for a while I see my default camera having many lags to load the app.
Like more than 5 sec to load the last gallery previex and during (and after this) the image have many lags.
When I take a shoot this one can take more than 5 / 10 sec to write on the card (Sandisk Extreme 32g)
I try with other app (like google camera) and I have the same mistake.
To erase this, I try to reinstall my rom but no way, my camera still laggy!
Please anybody help me!!
For all have a passby here and have an issue like this one, I finally found it's due to an exposed module (think it's xsanta at this time but I can't not confirm caue I must reenable some of mine one by one to isolate the cause)
So after disable some of my xposed module my camera was like the firts day, just the one we love on LG G4!

i'm having issues with stock camera app.
when ever i take panorama photos and try to view them in gallery (regardless of app used), i get this error message:
"cannot display panorama / the image file does not contain the required panorama metadata".
so far i tried with default gallery app and quickpick. neither of them are able to open the panorama file.
i also tried with google camera app. this seems to take panoramas without issue.
the only time / place i am able to view the panorama files is right after i take them and use the "recent pic" option from within the camera app.
right now i`m on android 7.1.1 with OS 4.1.6. unlock bootloader, TWRP, rooted device, stock OS / kernel.
already tried to clear camera app and gallery app data/cache. also did a wipe of cache / dalvik for entire phone. all in vain.
so .. if anyone has other suggestions ...

In QuickPic, don't press on the displayed panorama icon but pinch-to-zoom instead.
Also keep in mind that QuickPic is noticeably slower on Nougat and might take some time to render the photo in full resolution.
The fastest gallery for Nougat at the moment is Simple Gallery, which also shows panoramas without issues for me.

The stock gallery doesn't give me any issues with panoramas, but it's a crappy slow app and I don't use it.
Nothing you can do about this. Something is fundamentally wrong with the way panorama-metadata is stored with their stock camera app.
Also taking panoramas in general is a PITA. I tried numerous shots at the beach last week. All were unusable because of countless stitching errors.
Clearing app data did not help unfortunately and It's not the only thing weird, also taking panoramas with google camera doesn't refocus for each shot.
Even some few OP5 camera reviews mentioned the same behavior. I really hope OnePlus fixes their app eventually.
So the Google camera port featuring HDR+ isn't working on the z2 plus. Every time I launch it it says app keeps closing.
Note that im on viper is 7.1.2 and ive tried uninstalling the system camera app and turning google camera into a system app
Any solution?

We dont 't have camera API 2 Support on our device.

Use buildprop editor and manually add camera 2 API.
I got it working on more ****ty redmi note 4x. You got bigger 1.34 pixel size why not.
It's android, it's root and make **** happen.
There's no camera2 api support for our device
I've tried many tweaks but it didn't enabled in spite of that the actual camera crashes...
Hello guys would you suggest any gcam that can utilize the most of our cameras especially switching between wide and normal?
I am currently using UltraCam pics are good but only normal camera is working.
i tried few but they crash every time i launch the app.

Recently after updating my OnePlus 7t to open beta 3 I've noticed a strange issue with the cameras. About 2 hours after every reboot camera related features start malfunctioning. I can't use face unlock, because "camera is being used by other apps", I can neither use the stock camera app because I get a toast notification saying "the camera is in use". The main back and front camera seems to be working in every other app like snapchat, gcam (although telephoto and ultrawide don't work on gcam). After reboot everything goes back to normal for some time.
I tried:
- cleaning data of all camera services and the camera app itself and face unlock app
- re-adding my face model
- uninstalling AUX camera magisk fix (which enables telephoto and ultrawide to work in gcam)
Is anyone else having this issue? Iwould love to solve this problem without reverting back to open beta 2, as it lacks some features I like in OB3. Thanks in advance for help!

I am facing the same issue with the latest beta update? Got any fix for this?
Are you sure you dont have some app spying on you. Probably using the camera thats why its being reported in use
It's caused by GCam. Not sure about stock OOS cam.

I doubt it, as the issue is only in stock Oxygen OS apps (camera, face unlock). My theory is that they use some camera service made by Oneplus which has broke in my phone. Other apps, such as Snapchat or Gcam do not utilise such service, and the main cameras work just fine in those apps (telephoto and ultrawide don't work, because they propably must be accesed via this service). But it's just my theory
