Oneplus 3 SIM 2 Not recognizing - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

ONEPLUS 3 thread:::::::::Clicking on SIM & Network settings shows SIM 1 TMOBIL but SIM 2 is greyed out even though the SIM worked in SIM 1 before. I'm using SIM 1 for one # and SIM 2 for another. When I click on SIM 1 and turn it off I get "Error, can't disable all the SIMS" then I press ok and it automatically turns it back on. SIM 2 doesnt even show up, I've rebooted twice to see if it would work but failed. ANYONE HELP PLEASE!

DUAL SIM On M1000

Hi
To all I am completely new to the M1000 after upgrading from a SPV c500 and throwing my old PDA away.
I have been reading through the forums about the Dual Sim
At the mo I have 2 Orange Sim Cards 1 on contact and 1 Pay as you go I would like to put both sims in the phone so that I can use my free minutes on contract and my free texts on Pay as you go.
I was thinking of buying the King of Double card Dual Sim Card form e-bay.
I have read that you can swap sims by turning on/off flight mode ???
I have regestered my interest in WiVit for there Today screen sim switcher. But this not yet ready.
3 Questions
1. Has anyone done this
2. How do you switch sims using flight mode
3. How can you tell if both are on orange which one you are cureently using??
If anyone can answer this for me please please include idiot instructions as i dont want to break this terriffic phone
Many many thanks
To swap sim using flight mode, click on the top of screen where the signal/antenna is, choose flight mode............click same place again, click turn off flight mode, your sim is now swapped. To find out which sim you are using you could choose programs/sim manager/tools/list own number, that should give you the phone number of current sim in use, there is probably an easier way but I cant think of it right now.
I used dual-sim on my nokia for ages until they stopped it working.
To get around the problem with knowing which sim is active, I stored all my numbers in the phone, then had 1 number in each sim, with a dummy number so I didn't dial by mistake.
e.g. 'Private', '000' for my own sim.
and 'Work', '000' for my worktime sim.
(on the nokia, I had to put 'a' in front so this number was always at the top of my phonelist, but this is not needed on the XDA.)

Force Sim 2 to 3G standby

Hi guys. My country is shutted down 2G network. So my sim 2 no longer able to stand by on 2G, which causing problems to me as my sim at sim 2 won't get any signal, when I use sim 1 as data and sim 2 on standby. I tried *#*#4636#*#* to switch the network but it doesn't help, as it is only show phone information for sim 1 only. Is there anyway LineageOS can include sim2 phone information as per screenshot like in MIUI?
My phone is one plus 2

[Paranoid Android 7.2.1] - Phone can not detect associated phone number with SIM card

Hey all,
This may or may not be ROM specific, but I just switched carriers and for the time that my number was being ported, I had both my old SIM card (Net10 on AT&T towers) and my new SIM card (T-Mobile) in the phone. During that crossover time, everything worked fine. In the SIM settings page, the carrier for each SIM and the associated phone number appeared correctly. However, once I removed my old SIM (phone was powered down any time I changed SIMs) the phone still functions fine for calls, texts, and data, but it no longer recognizes the SIM carrier or phone number.
This is made worse, as the carrier has an app that checks the SIM card before running, now, the app just shows "We do not recognize your SIM card".
I also noticed that carrier specific dialer codes no longer function. For example, if you dial #264# you should be presented with the status of T-Mobiles "Binge On" feature, but now it just does nothing once I hit call.
I have tried swapping the SIM between slot 1 and slot 2, I have also tried rebooting numerous times, all to no avail. I'd really prefer to not have to switch ROMs, but if that ends up being the solution, I guess I'll do it.
Any help would be appricated.
Thanks,
Austin

What does your Settings>About Phone>Sim Status show?
There are some apps (root+Xposed required) which edit the number in the sim. You can also input a number if it is blank in the sim.
Failing this, you may have to approach your service provider.

The Phone Number row shows as Unknown in there as well. However, if I insert my old sim in the other sim slot it then shows my correct phone number.
So the number is there in the sim, but for some reason is only read if I have both sims in.

Network not working suddenly

Hi, I'm facing a serious problem with my Redmi Note 9 pro max. Suddenly the SIM cards are not detected (Both sims). Sometimes i get only 2g network in my 1st SIM. I have a Airtel sim on SIM 1 and JIO on SIM2. I tried using other sim cards as well but nothing seems to help. It just happened suddenly. The phone is brand new. I can't flash using flash tool because it needs sim card to send some info in developer options. I need help!

Question Dual sim - Only 1 sim showing as connected in Sim manager?

I recently started using a second sim. I am trialling another network so it might be temporary or it might not.
I left my original sim in slot 1 and put the new one in slot 2 and set calls and messages to slot 1 and data to slot 2 as mobile data performance is what I want to test and I do not want to impact people trying to call me. What I noticed when I did this that only the new sim card 2 showed as connected under mobile network state sim card 1 was showing as disconnected.
My expectation was that they should both be connected?
