I am having an issue where when attached to my Bluetooth in my car I can not adjust my in-call volume in my phone. It gets stuck at 50%. I can adjust media volume no problem when playing music and can adjust the in-call volume in other Bluetooth devices like my buds+ and galaxy watch.
Any ideas how to fix this? It results in either very quiet call volume or when the call ends the music is crazy loudly.
I have this same issue.
Me too
Don't suppose anyone has managed to resolve this yet? It's still happening with me with Android 11 update.
Disabled absolute volume?
Make sure volume limiter is not enabled.
Clear system cache.
Reset network settings.
I have the same problem on tcl 55p83 ( RT851)
bluetooth max volume is limited to 50%
Any help ?
I have the same issue.... Just figured it was normal to keep distortion or feedback at a minimal?? But, maybe it isn't?

I am having an issue with the volume of the media player on the phone, in particular when I am listening to voicemail messages. I have the volume up all the way and you can barely hear it through a headset and it is very quiet on the speaker phone or normally. Is there anyway to force higher volume or is anyone else experiencing this? I have checked the volume under settings and it is also set to max.

This sounds typical.
On the other hand, are you saying that voicemails sound even fainter than normal phone calls?
I recently received a replacement Galaxy Nexus (my original power button broke). I am having an issue with the new phone where my old phone worked fine--and I think I have found a solution that may help others if they are having this problem.
When listening to media, either music via PowerAmp or podcasts via DoggCatcher, the ringtone for an incoming call is reduced to a point that is almost inaudible. I can tell there is an incoming call, because the media stops, but that is unacceptable. If I stop the media but keep the ringer at the same volume, an incoming call rings at a much louder (and satisfactory volume). For some reason, playing media is reducing the volume of the ringtone.
I found a solution that seems to be working for me. I noticed that while adjusting volumes in the volume settings control panel, the volume would be reduced but adjusting the volume would return it to normal. To solve the problem I set up a tasker profile that will adjust the volume on the event of an incoming call. The tasker profile looks like this:
Context: Event > Phone Ringing, Hardware > Headset Plugged (otherwise I think this would make vibrate worthless)
Task: Ringer Volume: Level 2 (anything else seems much too loud, but I will have to try it out).
Anyone else having this problem? Know the cause? Other solutions?
Low Sound. Playing Music on Yureka loudspeaker will not appeal to many as the sound output is low. Sometimes sound plays muffled as well, depending upon the type of track you’re playing. If the sound output is distorting kinda, Go to audiofx app and disable it on speaker mode.
In-call sound is great but if you get low sound in earpiece, make sure in-call volume is at its peak. There is volume controls bug as well for in-call sound. During call, if the user tries to lower the volume, the volume slider moves but the volume level in reality is not lowered. I have also faced this bug. So, wait for software update, hopefully, these issues will be fixed.
Thank you. Unable to hear/attend callls without putting into speaker mode. After disabling audiofix option it solved the problem.

Glad I was helpful!
no problem like this has happened, but if its there it will be fixed soon.
Hi,
As the title suggests my 5T appears to be muted on bluetooth when the volume is at 10% or less. This doesn't happen on speaker or audio jack so.
I've looked around and can't find any other instance of this. I've tried messing about with the "Bluetooth absolute volume" setting but that doesn't make a difference. It's happening for all bluetooth devices so it's nothing to do with the devices themselves.
I've attempted to up the volume steps within gravitybox but that does nothing (my understanding is OOS doesn't allow this to be changed?)
This has only been an issue since I updated to 8.1.0.
Just to add to this I've just found that if I put the slider to loud (bottom) and kill spotify and open it again I can then hear sound at the lowest volume setting. If i then put my slider to silent (top) I can hear sound still. I can the adjust volume around the low levels but the moment I go above 10% and back down I can then no longer hear the sound unless I repeat the earlier steps.
Any ideas?
I unchecked the "disable absolute volume" and the volume will go low on Sony wf1000mx4 after playing for awhile. I restarted the phone and the same thing happen after awhile. Anyone has the same issues?
There's two volume controls
One on the earphones and one from the phone itself
I generally set the right hold as volume up, set volume max on the earphones, then adjust the phone media volume, had the same issue till I figured it out

Thanks, found the issue. It is YouTube music equalizer which is causing the low volume. Turn it off and everything works perfect.
Since we're on the topic I have had a difficult time boosting the absolute volume level on the P6P. Is it not simply a matter of adjusting audio policy? Any ideas? I want my max volume to be 50-100% higher in all areas, ear, speaker, bluetooth
