[Q] App Ops

Greetings!
Has anyone been able to get to the app permission settings aka 'App Ops' on the 2014 Note 10?
I'm not rooted and have tried multiple apps on the Play store as well as the activities shortcut on Apex launcher but nothing works. Just takes me to the main settings page of the device.
Thanks!

Zooper disappeared from Play Store?

Last week I was able to find Zooper in the Play Store, but today it's gone. I cannot download the app anymore. Is it just me or do you guys experience the same?
Im the same with you.
I've asked the google help center, they said that the developer zooper has removed the app.:crying:

Just bought a new Note 8 and now I can't have my awesome info widget. Hope this is not a permanent situation, but if MyColorScreen removes the app for good, do we get refunds?
Completely shocked by this.. this is THE best widgets framework there is for people who want customization and power..
Have moved to KWGT
Does anyone know of a safe apk download out there? Im a paid pro user and I had to restore my phone to factory settings twice in the last two days (thanks to Samsung's Auto downloading an ota update without my permission while I had substratum overlays on my s8). My Samsung cloud backup will re-download all my apps which would include zooper I believe, because it doesn't seem to download them through the play store, except that the app files were backed up with the overlays, so once it restores them the apps that had those overlays continue to force close and malfunction. Also, does anyone know of a way to manually select which apps you want to restore through the Samsung cloud app restore function?

I've been to hell and back trying to set up my phone after Samsung forced an ota update (thanks a lot f'ing samsung ????) and this thing with zooper now is just the cherry on top. Some of the widget apps will work with KWGT, but they will have certain widgets for zooper, and another set of widgets for KWGT, and they're not the same widgets. So I cant get my favorite zooper search bars and stuff back. Ahhhh!
Zooper was readded to google play, so i removed my link.
I want my money back
Aaaaaaand..... It's back again

How to remove "Say ok google" widget

Is there an option to remove that widget from homescreen?
There must be a solution to this without using a different launcher.
No, if you search on the Mi A1 forum (basically the same device), nobody found a way to remove the search bar from the stock launcher, because it is hard-coded.
The only way is using another launcher (Nova recommended) or modify the stock launcher apk to remove the bar, and replace it.
Maybe this works?
Disable the Google App
Danielle Furry recommends disabling the Google app in settings, which works for a range of Android versions. Here's how it works:
Open Settings, then open Apps
In the All apps list, find Google app, or just Google, tap it and select disable
Reboot your phone and the search bar should be gone!
If you disable the Google app, don't worry about breaking your phone. Apps like Google Play Services are essential for your system (unless you build your OS outside of Google's ecosystem), but your other apps will work fine without the Google app.
Do be warned however, the Google Assistant and voice search depend on the Google app, so disabling the Google app will also negatively affect dependent services such as Google Home, Google Lens, and Google's notifications about weather and transport, for example.

Worked for me. I used Nova Launcher Prima to remap the center button to open the app drawer instead of launching any Googly stuff. This frees up space to put more apps on the bottom row.

LineageOS Installed - How do I get the original Pixel Launcher features?

Hi,
I've installed LineageOS & GApps micro...
I loaded up the Google Play Store and downloaded most of the google apps including Google App (Search), Pixel Launcher & Google News yet the below features don't work:
- "Okay Google" isn't working... If I go into Google Settings > Voice Match the toggle to enable/disable "Hey Google" is greyed out and turned off... how do I enable it?
- "Google Search Bar" is missing... (At the bottom of the pixel launcher, it also exists when you open the app list)
- "Google Now" is missing... (Left panel of the pixel launcher, shows a search bar, quick links to weather, food, entertainment, sports and has cards with information for you including news articles)
