somtimes the wifif and the sim service turen on for a feue sec and turn off again.

Hello,
Can't help you, but I have the same problem and it seems to have occurred in a similar time - also a few days ago. Suddenly my SIMs stopped being detected overnight and then after a few restarts wifi stopped working too.
Also, the SIM cards work fine when inserted to another phone.
Any ideas?

[Q] Wifi switching itself off randomly :(

Hi,
Yesterday I started having a strange problem with my Desire.
I was browsing the internet at home using wifi and all if a sudden it switched off the wifi.
I turned it back on again and it worked fine again for around 10 minutes when it did it again. I switched wifi back on again, this time around 3 minutes later it switched itself off again.
I have never had this problem before and haven't installed any new programs on the day it started. In wifi settings the sleep mode is set to never.
I rebooted and tried again, but out still happens. I have rebooted my wireless router, again no joy.
In desperation I factory reset, but it still won't keep wifi on for more than a few minutes.
I have a T-mobile uk desire which is stock and un rooted with stock radio too.
I sim unlocked it in march and have a vodafone sim in it
My wireless router its a sky one and is running on channel 13 as no one else locally uses that channel.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Cheers in advance

Still having this issue
If anyone can help or suggest things to try I would be grateful as I am at a loss now....

[Q] r800i no sim card problem, NO CHANGES MADE

I've got an r800i running gin2jellybean on the virgin network. It has been unlocked using the code method. Everything has been fine on the phone except last night when I ran out of minutes. The phone disconnected from the network and said no sim, which isn't out of the ordinary. I paid the bill and waited several hours for my service to return. After it didn't work I rebooted my phone... to no avail. Sometimes when my wifi is on and the battery gets low the phone says no sim but when wifi is turned off service returns. I've tried rebooting with airplane mode on waiting a few moments and turning it off..... but still it says no sim card!
I'm at a loss and have no idea what to do! It was wofking fine..... and now NOTHING!

Lost network during standby

Hi all,
I just got the S4 for a week. But it lost the t-mobile during standby a few times a day, cannot call, text and no internet. I have to restart the phone to reconnect back to t-mobile network again. This is really annoying. Is this a sim card issue or phone issue? My sim card is quite old, but it works without any problem with the galaxy 1 before.

sim working? not expired?
try the sim with another phone, check if working
restart the z play yet?
Hi,
SIM working on another mobile. I tried restart many times and no luck.
Could it be the same thing that I'm experiencing? This is my second Moto Z Play dual-sim (XT1635-02) after the first one was replaced, because of the same problem. I've noticed that the problem is worse when using 4G, but if you change it to 3G in preferred networktype, it usually stays connected. I'm gonna return my 2nd Moto Z Play again on Monday and buy another phone, I don't want a 3G phone!
See my YouTube video where I've recorded the problem: youtube.com /watch?v=aFWdmmWzxdA
(Just remove the space between .com and /watch to get a functional link)
i suffer same issue and got network back after reflashing and wipe data. but i have to reflash again because i got this issue again. i didnt find the cause of it.
I have exactly the same problem, i think it beggins after install magisk in viper rom, but after return to the last stock firmware, the problem is still present
Hi. Got same issue, after official update - restart, lost network, radio off and unable to turn it on via *#*#4636#*#*.
Phone was on warranty so I gave it to my operator, unfortunately they told me that I will have to pay for screen replacement also because there is tiny scratch on it. Got phone back with network WORKING [ no repair was made ] though that issue is gone until my son drained battery flat, phone restarted with no network. This got me and if I can stick warranty in my ***** I did flash it with lineage ROM and wipe everything from phone, no success at all - I laterally did EVERYTHING what I could [ software wise ] - so I gave up, bought another phone and put this on shelf.
After 2 days got it back form shelf and put sim in and turn on and guess - network worked until I restarted it, no network after restart.
Conclusion:
Modem has to be restarted as battery in no removable You have to switch it off for 12h or so and it should work [ in my case ]
