As you can see from my video on YouTube, speed of focus on my S6 EDGE+ is nothing slower than on S7 / EDGE. Video was shoot in 4K.
Tell me what you think. Do you think S6 is as fast as S7 / EDGE

Does anybody knows also what is % on Sony's sensor used in S6 Edge Plus that has to do with focus? What is the coverage for focus. I know S7 has 100% of sensor for focus.
In short, It was concluded by the folks over dxomark that :
》 Galaxy A50 has excellent dynamic range which is on par with other flagships or even better.
》Video recording too was great.
》 Bokeh mode is also excellent.
》 Needs improvement in lowlight & details department.
》It nearly ties with the score of previous years flagships like Nokia 8 sirocco, Sony XZ premium, Iphone 7 etc.
NOTE :- Nightmode wasn't taken into consideration during their testing & neither was super steady mode avaialable as the testing was done prior to June update else the DxoMark would've gone up considerably as seen with the poco f1 (91) as the A50 also scored much better in hdr mode, bokeh mode etc than poco f1 too, obviously.

So I just bought a Samsung A50 and I'm moving from the galaxy A8 2018. One of thr downsides of that phone was its camera. Has the A50 improved on this? Slightly disappointed that there's only. 1080p @ 30fps
You can use most 3rd party apps to capture at 2160p30. Even though the Samsung camera app can only do 1080p30, it's pretty decent quality! I used to only shoot 4K on my Nokia 7 plus, but the A50's 1080p is good enough for me to use it all the time.
That still doesn't explain why they did not use the full capabilities of the chipset though, it can support up to 4K @ 120fps according to Samsung's product page for the Exynos 9610. And also, I think a camera with this sensor and lens size should perform much better than it actually does on this phone. I did get a few nice pictures, but the conditions really has to be optimal. Here is an example. The one with less dynamic range is a 25MP shot, while the other is 12.2MP : https://photos.app.goo.gl/M64sXVgjW79wzhYc7
Are the cameras on the 3 Samsung s20/ plus and the ultra all pretty much the same quality? Are is the camera on the Samsung CEO ultra way better than the CEO plus and the base model CEO device? I'm just wondering if it's worth spending the extra $ on the CEO ultra device. Basically is a camera on the s20 ultra way better than the base model s20 and s20 plus. Get somebody please let me know thanks in advance!!! I'm using the LG cup right now. Is the camera on the s20 plus s20 Ultra in the base model s20 way better than the v 60 LG device camera.

( Exynos S20 U )
I like the camera, it has its limitations to take close-up photos, you can limit that by taking more distance and then zooming in, auto focus on the S20 Ultra is a bit restless, don't expect to take 1 photo there take several photos and pick the best ones out and tinker with snapseed until a good result is achieved for you, you are not familiar with taking and editing photos, 108 MP with the TOF sensor is perfect in certain situations, video recordings at 4 K and now the 21: 9 format is great, only manual, autofocus is unreliable !!. , in short, buy what you can handle, amateur? don't buy samsung!>
No, the S20 & S20+ crop into the sensor for the tele lens not an actual tele lens and the IQ from it is poor, the S20U is an actual tele lens. The UWA is similar in both, and the std lens is 108 mp vs 12mp the S20U takes a range of photos with the 108mp and combines them into a single 12mp photo, and when i compared the 12mp from my S20+ to my S20U the S20U is better detail wise.
TL;DR there used to be a camera mode that let you take a panorama with the selfie camera but I can't find it on my s20
I've just recently "upgraded" from my s8 to the s20 (android 11) and can't help realizing that there were a lot of missing features that I've had before. Today I tried to take a group selfie with my family and wanted a wider angle; I recall that on my s8 there was a feature that would let me take a panorama with the selfie camera and it was really useful to get everyone in my selfie and with a lot of the background too.
I see that there is a 'wide selfie' option on my s20 but it's not the same thing, you get a bigger frame, but it's not a panorama. does anyone know where this mode has gone or another app that can provide the same feature?
I did the same thing - I dropped my beloved S8+ and the nearest replacement was the S20 FE.
I am a big fan of the S8 Wide Selfie feature and would love to know how I can get it to work on my S20
