We’re really excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Quartz Alpha, based on Android 10.
On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those who are unfamiliar, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhances the overall user experience. This time around he have his wallpaper app Abstruct, were you will be able to find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers alongside a huge amount of amazing wallpapers.
The alpha builds include adjustments and improvements on top of the stock Android CAF base. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features.

I would recommend OpenGapps:
https://opengapps.org/
At the moment only Nano and Pico packages but bigger ones won't fit on the titan anyway.
As other android 10 Gapps they may have some issues.

its not working tamil fonts. How to enable tamil fonts

1 - Download opengapps.
2 - Flash rom.
3 - Using twrp file manager, goto: "system/system/product/apps/LatinIME", and move LatinIME.apk to any folder on sdcard.
4 - Goto: "system/system/product/priv-app" and delete "EmergenceInfo" folder.
5 - Now, you will be able to install gapps.
6 - Goto: "system/system/app" and delete "GoogleTTS" folder, (you can download it later on Playstore.
7 - Move "LatinIME.apk" back to your folder at: "system/system/product/apps / LatinIME"
8 - Reboot
This works on Lineage17, it should work on PA

Hola. como estas. Una pregunta. Como te funciona esta rom en to Moto G2?
Saludos
gapps pico won't fit and the instructions to remove the latin ime don't apply to this rom
I'll see if there is a way to sideload google play store idea
i tested this rom, it was really slow but when I added this to build.prop with some tweaks too, i got an slighty better performance, sadly you will have less than 300 MB of free RAM
# Fix Lag
debug.hwui.renderer=opengl
ro.config.low_ram=true (Note: this will disable some functions like messenger chat heads)
At least this works for reducing lag and freezing on android system

Go to system/app and delete the chrome folder, you will have enough storage for installing them, but i will warn you, android 10 gapps still have some bugs, you can also replace android keyboard with gboard go keyboard, Gboard uses less than 30 MB on system storage and android keyboard like 60 MB

Because i can't comment in spanish i will send you an private message telling you that
I tested it, after putting some build.prop tweaks and doing some things to this rom, it worked with few slowness and lag but i got a problem, the first time i formatted my sd card as internal it worked good but after restarting it stopped detecting it, still i could recover all my files connecting my phone on TWRP recovery
edit: formatted my sd card on my pc and i will test if it still get this error, for some reason, things i put on sd card get bugged or corrupted before formatting it
Bummer. I have a couple of Moto G's that my workplace had stashed in storage. I had one with LineageOS, and I was thinking of trying out PA if it was still supported.

To have enough system space on this rom, before flashing gapps, delete chrome on system/app, if it still fails to install, move latinIME apk to internal storage, flash gapps, delete GoogleTTS app then move again LatinIME to system again

It's kinda strange considering i had Pico OpenGapps when i flashed this rom and they worked perfectly for me, the only bad thing is that because this phone is an 1 GB of RAM, it's kinda slow, i think an alternative for MindGapps could be Nanodroid MicroG
I was install superior OS but that haves error when i install games so that stacks and sound games play like slowly camera. Now am using android 7.1.1 lineageos but it have issue wifi it connect nice but on times disconnet alone and reconect. Sorry tomorrow can make all steps you was write and see, this device have defect because stock firmware 5 not gives h+ signal or 6 android stock gives h+ signal but stacks. Tomorrow i will writte you my results.

About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!

nice! I have used Mokee is the past. great roms. Looking forward to trying it.
EDIT: You have the slowest download site I have ever seen. I'll pass on this one thanks.
Been meaning to Really try this. Only downside is no LVM support.
Every other CM-alternative rom gives me way too many reboots, on 6.0.1.
Great work and I hope to hear more from users before I jump ship.
Subscribed.

As we're getting back into the thread game, keeping up with threads and updating them as per changelogs can be too hectic given our schedule. However, very detailed changelogs always go up on our Google+ page, follow us for constant updates!
For Device specific changelogs, check the second post.
Instructions & requirements
We highly recommend you to follow these instructions very carefully. Users usually tend to skip a few steps and eventually fall in trouble. Are you with me? Good. Let's get this train going.
Just a few things to keep in mind first -
If you're coming from another ROM / Stock, your system data (not internal storage) and cache will have to be wiped. This includes apps, accounts, messages, call logs etc.
There's been some users complaining about different GAPPS variants messing up installs and causing a ton of issues. Upon investigating it seems OpenGapps Mini/Nano work best.
Understand that Paranoid Android is a custom ROM and it might lead to addiction as it's relatively good. We shouldn't be accused of anything just incase your cat starts drinking wine. Things get a little woozy in the Paranoid World.
Some brain might be involved if things go wrong. Not a lot though, as much to solve what's 1+1.
Okay let's get to the main bit -
Once you have all the required files - boot into recovery and wipe the bananas out of your device. Get into the wipe menu and wipe data, system, cache and dalvik cache (basically everything except Internal Storage).
Once wiped, get into the "Install from zip" menu and select the ROM zip. (pa_gemini_6.x...). Once added to the install queue, TWRP will ask you if you want to add more zips into the queue - Click on "add more zips" and select the firmware package.
Swipe the bar on the bottom to flash/install zips. Once both zips are done installing - Reboot into system and set-up your device, after you've let it settle with screen off for about 10 Minutes, do not do anything else! Please let your device settle with screen off for about 10 Minutes after the first boot, otherwise the system wont boot after a reboot!
Once you're done setting up your device - well that's when you're done. One thing though - Make sure you DO NOT INSTALL any other zip in the same queue as the ROM! Meaning, do not flash anything like Gapps, a kernel or a root package while installing the ROM. We recommend you do that AFTER you're done setting up your device.

Exposed works very well.
Great camera. Take pictures while recording video
Fingerprint works better than any other rom.

We recommend you to take the advice above regardless.
halogenOS Checklist
Although no data should be lost or damaged by the flashing process,
we advise you to follow the following steps if you are coming from another rom:
Please take a full nandroid backup!
Please copy your back up to an external device.
Backing up your Internal Storage is also recommended.
When completed, please clean flash the build!
Although you usually can dirty flash halogenOS over other ROMs, considering the other
ROM has the same Android version, it is not guaranteed. In case of serious
crashes please do a clean flash.
If you get app crashes after dirty flashing over XOS 6 or another ROM, please just
clear the app data of those apps, and it should work fine then.
XOS is a new generation cutting-edge OS for Android based on Code Aurora Forum releases.
What is XOS?
halogenOS, also known as XOS is a new Android ROM which ships with the global aim to
become a modular ROM which keeps as high as potentially possible operating
performance on your mobile device while still maintaining a sufficient feature
base of nice, small and minimal features that would not be available via any
external feature base, extension, mod or plugin.
We hope you have a truly halogenified experience!
Internals of XOS
At core, the ROM is composed mainly of components from CodeAuroraForums (CAF),
featuring only extremely minor set of components from CyanogenMod (CM) which
have been added to source in order to allow for better cross-device compatibility.
Our LOVE to others
A huge thanks goes to those behind the CodeAuroraForums (CAF), the CyanogenMod
organization and all of its
contributors for the sources used in the development of the base ROM which we
started with inclusive of all the work and dedication their team puts in order to
keep us updated on the awesome contributions that they make.
We will be keen on ensuring that we be up to date with the code from our base sources,
with regular ROM updates hopefully coming from time to time.
Please do not ask for ETA's (else you shall be spooked by Mr Skeltal). Almost all of us are
students, and with the current lifestyles and routines we have, it is not that easy to acquire
time to develop the ROM, though we'll be sure to keep you updated and release OTAs as
soon as they are available and ready for publication. If you want to be really updated quick,

Dirty flashes are NOT recommended, mainly when coming from another ROM.
Ill give a try
Nice to see more devices having this ROM, but I would like to point out that halogenOS is based on AOSP + CAF and not on AOSP-CAF. There is a difference between those two, so please update the title soon

Fixed!
Thanks for the amazing work with the ROM!
After one day, I can say this ROM is amazing! very fast and battery friendly! Thank you
smooth rom
I'm usually pretty skeptical of all the ROMs that get peddled around here, but wow. Silky smooth and very impressive boot time (after first boot). Very minimal selection of apps included by default, unlike all the junk that comes with LineageOS et al. The cherry on top is microG support Very nice, I'm keeping my eye on this one. Thanks!
Okay Okay for me
Though the ROM looked good ... it didn't feel like having all the require features.
Also, it didn't detected SIM card .. :silly:
Making U turn to previous version of another ROM :crying:
Reinstalled the ROM and everything was fine ... still i didn't found the volume rocker... volume tile.. this is so far gooooooddd...

Ya
The ONLY AOSP rom which supports all media formats!!! :good:
Everything is smooth..
My only concern is that the custom actions assigned to navigation buttons doesn't work. Hope it will be fixed in the next build
Hope you'll keep updating this rom regularly.. :fingers-crossed:

MicroG allows you to have a complete t google free rom:
https://microg.org/
Some parts are not full stable yet but if you want to get rid of the batterkillers like google play services and all that spy stuff it´s worth a try.
So will this ROM become official?

We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimizations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.
Pie
We’ve been working hard on redesigning this key feature of our portfolio and we’re really happy with how it has turned out. The whole design has been reworked and it fits in well with the overall feel of Google’s Material Design. This gives you the opportunity to use more gesture based control for navigating, rather than using the standard Navigation Bar at the bottom of your screen. Expect improvements and additions in the future.
Color Engine
We’re proud to announce our newest feature - Color Engine. Color Engine allows you to seamlessly change the colors of your device to be in Light, Dark (Pixel) and Black modes with a variety of accent colors to choose from. This makes changing the theme of your device really quick without having to install any extra packages on your device.
Major features:
- Reworked Pie
- Color engine
- Immersive mode
- Buttons customization (including navigation bar)
- On the spot controls (OTS)
Minor features:
- SafetyNet Compatibility
- Battery/Notification LED control
- Recent tasks locking
- Battery icon customization
- Google now page in default launcher
- Substratum (OMS) support (Color engine will be deactivated if you use Substratum)
- Quick pulldown
- Various performance and battery improvements
- Display Burn-in protection (for OLED screens)
- Pocket Lock
- More to explore
Device specific features for Google Nexus 5 (List is being updated):
- Replaced MPDesicion with a better & improved AutoSMP (improves battery life)
- aptX and aptXHD support
Note: Custom kernels are explicitly unsupported and will cause issues
unless they state that they are AOSPA compatible or AOSPA based!

Install instructions
We highly recommend you to follow these instructions very carefully. Users usually tend to skip a few steps and eventually fall in trouble. Are you with me? Good. Let's get this train going.
Just a few things to keep in mind first -
If you're coming from another ROM / Stock, your system data (not internal storage) will have to be wiped. This includes apps, accounts, messages, call logs etc.
There's been some users complaining about different GAPPS variants messing up installs and causing a ton of issues. Upon investigating it seems OpenGapps Pico work best.
Okay let's get to the main bit.
We recommend a full wipe.
Flashing order:
1. Back up to PC everything you would need (whole of Internal Storage including and not limited to
Titanium Backup folder, Music, Pictures, etc)
2. Reboot into TWRP Recovery
5. Format all partitions except the "internal" partition**
6. Flash AOSPA zip
7. Flash Gapps zip
8. Flash SuperSu or Magisk (optional)
9. Reboot System
** For F2FS on /data the internal partition needs to be wiped too.
First boot time would be about 3-4 minutes on an average.

grabbed few screens.
Yes!!!
Thanks Bob will try and report soon !
Feeling kind of bad to deliver the bad news so fast, but i am stuck at Google logo. I doubt it is a ROM fault, more likely incompatibly between the CAF kernel and my chineese non-oem cheap screen I use. The logs are given below, if you could help me.
Thank you @marcomarinho!
You helped me out a ton as well. SafetyNet would still be broken on onyx were it not for you! Good job

We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

Im on pbrp and installed it and ended in fastboot loop. Had to flash global rom and twrp to install it properly. Also the cam on this rom is camera go 2.

when i flash a new rom if i end up in a bootloop and get that encryption bug. What I do is pick the 3rd option that completely wipes your system (with everything backed up to my sd card) then try installing the rom. when you finish flashing it reboot back into recovery again and flash it again. also make sure pretty much everything but cache/dalvik and data and not mounted.
took me a bit of trial and error and I have no clue why but ive been flashing roms this way without fail since i installed pbrb3 recovery. Aospa, RR, evolution and another one that i found on androidfilehost lol.
