Hello
Is it true that the GT2 doesn't show the app logo for notifications? So you have to guess if its an sms, whatsapp or email for example?
That is not true.
You can see the app logo on the watch.

Yeah, you are right, I was wrong. Some logos are shown, like WhatsApp, and some other not, like Calendar, for example.

I use ninja sms, works great imo, very minimal power use

My vote is for glowfly. Only a buck and is better than SMS popup since developer stopped supporting the app or refuses to fix the multiple popup for the same message bug
Hi I'm trying to find a way to combine our stock messaging app and whatsapp,

Not possible.

Its possible but you are gonna have to talk to the devs of Whatsapp. I know you can receive sms in the "facebook messenger" app. I dont see why it would be any different for whatsapp
Maybe it could be added to Whatsapp Plus

Notification from what? Cause yes, the Sony SW definitely vibrates to all notifications unless the app doesn't support wear in some manner. I say that because Textra, you NEED to have vibrate on with the phone in order for the watch to vibrate.

Is it only whatsapp that isn't vibrating the notification? Some apps are setup to vibrate while others do not.
AFAIK there is no way to set what apps vibrate the watch. They either work, or they don't.

Hey I'm using an app that vibrates on every message and even text messages and it's called informer and you can found it in the play store
Why do I only get notifications when I have my phone in my hand and unlock the screen? Also I only get WhatsApp messages when I start the app physically. Notifcations are allowed for all apps. Has anybody an idea?

Check if you have set the apps to clean up on locking screen.
Check in the battery settings.

It might be because of the Theme you are using. Try to change themes and see

A theme can cause this problem?

Yeah. Some themes can cause this issue
According to this article you can turn on bubble notifcations (and force black [emoji16]) in Dev options.
Anyone get this to work running the latest Google messaging beta?

Interesting. Not working for me but based on your screenshot I am testing the smart pop up view settings. Odd that you would have to switch both the dev option and the smart view. I am guessing one is Google and one is Samsung.

Not sure, but your thought makes sense. I'd never seen the one in the Dev settings until you mentioned it. In any event, to enable the pop-up to be used for Google Messages, you have to scroll way down into the app list to find Messages to enable it. You'd think it would be in the smaller first group of "suggested" apps all of which seem to be for messaging, but that is not the case.

Pop up view seems to work with Google messages. Would be nice if bubbles had sender image rather than default app icon.

I'll disable Messages from the pop-up view setting (as that may override) and compare to see how well 'bubbles' works...

You don't have to switch both (and messages is way down in the second list, it should work for you, maybe you enabled the wrong one.)
