Hello I see a lot of updates but none for the Galaxy Watch LTE. Why ????
For several months I have seen Tizen version 4.0.0.7 being deployed, but nothing for Watch LTE, is this normal ?

LTE Variant update started rolling out on December 24th, it should get to you soon enough.

I hope so...
This is ""normal""...
Since Gear S3... LTE devices ever the last ones...
Weeks/Months behind the BT only devices...
So this is known "phenomenon" since yearS...
IMHO chaos is greater...
Before it was easier to identify...
SM-R765A for ATT
SM-R765V for Verizon
SM-R765T for T-Mobile
All 3 are US only devices...
Now the Chaos is perfect...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=81451287&postcount=351
IMHO users with OXA region could reach FSL3... with CSC change...
But only the F users with SM-R805F or SM-R815F... not the US users with SM-R805U / SM-R805U
But they are scared to loose Samsung Pay or....

I've been reading about firmware and how users flashed the T-Mobile Firmware on their S8's to gain some services. Am I missing anything with my S9 and keeping it on the unlocked firmware? I've searched these forums and the web but there are no sound conclusions if I am hurting my service by not flashing the firmware.
Thanks for the help

No. ALL TMobile features work with the US unlocked version. I'm using one myself on tmobile.
The only "feature" you'll be missing is the 600mhz/B71 band on T-Mobile, which is new an somewhat "upcoming" anyways. I think the S9 Tmo is one of the first phones (if not the only phone) to support this band.

The first phone carried by a US carrier to support the 600MHz was actually the LG V30. Since then the Moto Z2 Force, S9, S9+, Note 8, and S8 active all support 600MHz. Last week LG launched the first budget phone to support 600MHz, and that's the LG K30 at $225.
Edit: All, if not almost all of the phones I listed have native support for 600MHz (assuming Snapdragon versions), so all carriers phones if unlocked will be able to take advantage of the 600MHz on T-mobiles network.
Multi line (digits) doesn't appear to work in the unlocked version. The app still functions though, however the experience is so much better when it's baked into the firmware.
I'm on a sm-g960w on Rogers and they have a 2600mhz band that's nice when nobody's on it lol.
I recently flashed over to ARC6 (tmb I think) and then sideloaded an update up to ARDA (may update). My device reads sm-g960u now and I'm wondering if I'll still be able to get on that band.
Thanks in advance if anyone knows, the way I usually measure isn't working and I don't have root.

If you dial *#2263# do you also see US bands enabled like band 28, 71, 14???
If so I'd be willing to take my chances and would flash the U1/U baseband/firmware
Anyone got galaxy LTE watch working in India?
You have such device?
Or you dream to buy such "LTE" device...
Correct me...
eSIM stuff seems not really supported in India as I know... last Google search few months... weeks ago...
Best Regards
No I was asking if anyone got it to work in India , esim is supported by Jio and Airtel for the new iPhone's also in the past with Apple watch 3
The problem in case of Samsungs Smartwatch...
Nobody managed this with Gear S2... S3... IMHO...
Since "S4" """easier""" but... also here more then 6 LTE variants...
SM-R805F N W U
SM-R815F N W U
The variant for China:
SM-R8050
:silly:
IMHO none of them have India Operator data preinstalled...
Feel free to be the first one who hacked this.
Good Luck.
Best Regards
He he sadly I'll have to impatiently wait it out
Any reason to get an Exynos version over Snap Dragon?
I am mainly hesitating between 2 Snapdragon variants... N9750 from Hong Kong or the global N975F. Both dual sim.
Anyone know of a reason to go with one va the other? For one, the 9750 seems to have only 2 CSCs. Slower roll-out of patches maybe?
Exynos If you plan to root and mod the phone. There's always more development for Exynos phones.
Thanks. I need to keep it stock for mobile payment and other apps that won’t run if rooted. Any feature related reasons or availability of anything else outside of customization or development?
I seem to be missing the advantage of the TGY or BRI variants.
Thanks,

The only reason I went with the 9750 was that supposedly Snapdragon variants have better performance and battery life, however, unlike the G9650 (analogous variant for the S9+), the N9750 actually lost a couple frequency bands compared to the N975F, rendering the former useless on carriers that utilize 3G AWS.
The 975F would be, I would expect, the superior choice if you love tinkering with ROM variants and especially if you plan on signing up for the next OS beta, but don't happen to live in the US, India or Germany (for example)
Last but not least, some users I have exchanged information with on XDA are more or less convinced that the SD variants have much better RF.
Ah, thanks. Slightly better RF is a common comment I heard so far. I was hoping to hear a real world comment on the newer Exynos though. Compared to the S10, the note is said to have access to a newer Exynos SoC.
I don’t plan on using nothing but stick firmware. Which CSC is the question as I travel a lot and use 3 sims from different csc.
With this in mind, are you happy you got the 9750 vs the 975F? Should I care at this point or both are really so similar? I am not looking for any Hong Kong Specific features. And when I roam there I don’t even use a local sim.
Thanks,

Oh, and are you running a multi csc firmware? If so, does OZW or OZS?

I'm happy in that my device is definitely stable and fast, while I have admittedly never held a N975F, however.
My only gripe is that the 9750 is among the last Note 10 4G models to get updates. That said, it's not like Samsung is holding out on 9750 users (without reason) as the update version eventually released does have a newer version and build than the others that preceded it.

I'm running the only multi CSC firmware available for the 9750, which is for BRI and TGY. BRI is the default, but I have used Samkey to switch the CSC to TGY.

Thanks for this. I was just reading in another thread where a user got the Star Wars firmware supposedly for the 9750 variant. Have you tried it? I wonder if it's still limited to BRI/TGY. You have not tried it by any chance?

One of the main SIM I use with the phone is Telcel. I rotate between 3/4 sims with 2 at a time obviously. You wouldn't have tried AT&T or Telcel (MX for both) in that model would you by any chance? If so, which ROM and did VoLTE and Wifi calling work?

Sorry, I have not heard of it (for the 9750) nor tried it.
Hi all,
I switched carrier on september 2021 and had my device unlocked from ATT. Currently im on T mobile but im not getting the update. I tried changing CSC but was not able to. Im trying to flash my phone to t-mobile firmware but need some help with it.
I leave it be. Do really want Android 11 or especially 12?
This N10+ is still running on 9, no issues. Current load is 2 yo. Updates can and do break things...
In any event it may update over wifi.
Will i recieve update over wifi from Tmobile even though im on ATT firmware? That is my current concern. Im on Android 11.

Don't know. I have 2 N10+'s, a N975U (AT&T) and a N975U1 (unlocked). Both have the same update app, com.ws.dm No other AT&T update apps are found on the AT&T variant. I'm more concerned with making sure this app never runs
I really wouldn't sweat it... not a big deal unless there's an upgrade you can't live without. Risk vs benefit, right now you have a working phone...
A Best Buy Samsung Experience center can also bring it up to date.
is ur carrier ATT?

I live in India. I have a HK Variant of the Samsung Galaxy S22 (9010).
Airtel just launched its 5G in 8 cities. I checked NetMonster, and the tower near me is 5G enabled.
However, it appears for 5G to work on Samsung phones, an OTA update is required.
Since I don't have an Indian variant, I won't receive this Airtel specific OTA (which appears to have been pushed for Indian Galaxy S22s).
Apart from changing my CSC thru Chimera Tool etc, is there anything I can do? Please help.
You could contact your service provider

I too have the same variant. Samsung Galaxy S22 (9010) -- Taiwan BRI version.
Same issue.
Maybe once the Android 13 stable is rolled out to our devices, it may work then.

I wonder if there are enough number of us out there for Airtel & Samsung to consider fixing this issue.
Requiring an OTA to just connect to a band seems too much of a hoop to jump to, especially if people are visiting from overseas and have compatible bands. I'm hoping you're correct about the stable Android 13 update, let's see how they approach this.
I have heard S22 series doesn't need an OTA 5G update to work with 5G network. It's enabled already. The OTA is only for the mid range and previous gen S series. Due to some 5G bands and implementation. There are some people with S22 series device in Chennai receiving 5G signal without any issues.
